We got a keyless lock when we built this house about 8 months ago. It has been a game changer! I was forever locking myself out in the previous houses. No more!! Not only that, but there is no need for keys when the cat sitter comes when we are out of town. Love it!
Great idea doing cameras!! I manage and clean an Airbnb, people broke in and tore stuff up, we had no pictures, no proof, and it was a challenge to repair stuff in time for the next renters , you guys do great work!!

You can also contact your electric company and have them install a street light and pole. We were able to just pay a little extra every month to pay for installation.
I agree that the positions of the cameras shouldn't have been shown. My dad said that locks are for honest people Now the thieves can stay out of the sightlines of & knock them out of commission. Maybe I'm just a jaded New Yorker

Hey Lauren & Neiman! Consider installing Security Strike Plates - the short screws in your strike plates now still allow someone to easily kick your doors in - a security strike plate has screws that are long enough to penetrate past the door jamb & well into the framing.
Security cams are a great investment for peace of mind ! Does it allow you to have past videos or is it for real time only - with no fees ?? The house number plate looks so nice ! You’re getting everything ready for renters 🎉 ❤. Yay !
neiman/lauran i STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU REPLACE THOSE DINKY SCREWS ON THE LATCH PLATES AND ANYWHERE ELSE THAT REQ SCREWS WITH DECKING SCREWS!!!!! if they decided to take a pry bar........ they have TO WORK A HELL OF ALOT HARDER TO GET THE SCREWS TO COME OUT. great job on installations....neiman nothing a little wood putty and paint cant fix ;];];];]
drilling thur solid wood, go slow and pull the drill out as you're drilling... wood gets clogged in the drill bil... Go slow and pull your drill in and out as you push thru... In and out....I wonder if it is a solid door as well......for it to split in that way, makes me think it is not solid wood...

I know this video has been out a year or so. But for future reference you shouldn’t be showing where you’re installing the security cameras on your property. Also unless you view the cameras and the areas they’ll be covering before installing them chances are you’ll have blind spots.

you can take them down and plug them in to charge! they hold charge for a long time and it shows the battery life in the app!
