the black sticker that had a pencil on it was actually just like the ornament, a scratching sheet, so you could maybe take a toothpick and scratch it, and then colors come out!❤
For anyone wanting to make potion charms- baby oil works better than water.. the glitters will be suspended and float around in the oil- won’t sink as much/fast as it does in water… Tip for mess free filling - you can make a funnel out of paper by rolling the paper into a little cone :) or a funnel out of aluminum foil for adding the oil!
I love how some advent calendar reviewers think stickers are awesome. While on the other side, some despise them. Granted there is a huge difference between sticker sheet, in an art advent calendar that’s under $50 vs. a beauty/health advent calendar that was over $100. It makes me giggle how different similar items can be, and how the calendar’s context matters!
I saw a $1000+ advent calendar that was Disney and Swarovski brand, and one WHOLE day was THREE STICKERS!! "Reusable" mickey stickers with rhinestones... in a $1000 advent calendar... makes my skin crawl lol!
@@itspixel2841 I saw that, too. It’s about as ridiculous as the Chanel calendar in 2021. That one still haunts my memories. Over half the mystery elements were stickers for like €600.
Omg i remember paying £125 for a Benefit make up calendar one time and behind 6 doors were a shitty notepad, paperclips, tiny cheap pencil and tiny stickers. Like i paid for a damn make up calendar gtfo here companies that do this
Oh! I didn't know you could use temporary tattoos on anything but skin! I treat them like stickers... collecting them without using them. I HATE to use a pretty temporary tattoo that'll just fade over time, so I've got a huge pile of them somewhere. Maybe I'll use some of them in a project some time. Haha
The gem bracelet that you used the crayon to place the gems, that's what diamond panting is like. Super simple and relaxing! You should get mini sticker diamond paintings to try!🎉
Amerigrain chiming in about the ruler - we use centimeters! Every ruler I've ever had has both centimeters and inches on it. Inches are more instinctive for us (personally I have a better sense of what an inch is vs a centimeter) but we tend to have everything in inches ALSO be listed in centimeters. So I've always used both :3
CM rulers, especially little ones, are great for sewing & jewelry supplies for adult amerigrains & any kids that do sewing/beading. Also awesome for taking to school!
My day is the 25, and most advent calendars don’t have that, so I add 2 to 5 and then go with 7. Love your advent unboxings. We don’t get as many in South Africa, and when you do they are very expensive, so it is good to watch and see if they are worth it if you can find them. Thank you
with the black stickers, the instructions looked like it was wanting that multi pen to be used. just by the picture anyway tho i will say, out of all the advent calendars reviewed so far, this one was the best thought out and put together. even with the issues lol i'd say worth the money on it
23! My bday got the nailart stickers, very fun. Also very interesting to see how someone else does the temporary tattoos-I grew up using a sponge and holding it down with the sponge until it stuck!
As a fellow crafter, I have also found that the "diamond" painting type activities are super relaxing!!!! I've done a bookmark and coaster sets and a small gingerbread house! Most of my crafts I have to think lol so when my brain isnt braining I pull one out and it relaxes my mind!!!!!!
Adorable! That they used bit of glue to keep surprises in places is good thing. on 20th there was that shaker magnet, so cute! offtopic but I just saw a video of minibrands books mysterybox, and according to the video those books are readable. Have you seen those yet? If not, maybe try some day.
These are amazing, if it weren’t for the extra huge heads that are more reminiscent of modern LPS, it would totally feel like a vintage toy line from the 80s. I was at a toy Collector convention the other weekend and some of us were lamenting that it doesn’t seem like there’s a lot of creativity in toys anymore. This seems like a good jumping point for it.
15:30 i’m in Amerigrain, and I just wanted to kind of say that I do use a lot of Japanese stationary and have sort of gotten used to trying to switch between centimeters and inches. Mostly because a lot of my rulers are in centimeters. I may not be able to easily convert, but if I’m just measuring things really quick to do crafts, then the actual unit of measure doesn’t matter, just that I’m able to get a measurement. Plus, since I use so much from Japan, or Korea, they’re all in centimeters anyway so it’s easier.
I thought this was totally adorable and so much fun!! It had way more activities than I thought it would and I think it's definitely worth the money! So stinking cute, 🥰 all the characters, all the glitter, all the pink, purple and turquoise... Just Adorable!! I loved it thank you so much for sharing!!! 😍😍✌🏻✌🏻😁😁🫶🏻🫶🏻😎😎👍🏼👍🏼
14 the black and silver stickers/stencils.i think these little creatures and the color scheme are very pleasing to the eye. I feel like a fish attracted to the shiny objects🐠🐠
What's funny Tiffy is many older Canadians never switched over to the metric system. What a nightmare to go through years of math failing every class to finally get out of school and be told that the simple things we did learn were all changing and we had a whole new system to learn. Many of us just didn't bother.
The "mvp" clear crayon thingy reminds me of the "glue" from my diy glittery Little Mermaid puzzle, paper doll set type things and other craft kits in early 90s!!
12 is my birthday and I absolutely love the multicolor pen. To top it all off it's purple, my favorite color!!! #17 is what's called a diamond painting and, yes! the crayon's purpose is to pick the gems. I do many of the regular diamond paintings as a hobby and love it. Reseach it, you might like it too.
I'd be over joyed if I got this as a kid. Even if some items might be of so-so quality I think overall the variety of items and the design is great! Love the little crafts and things too :)
The bracelet with the gems is like a large scale Diamond Painting, for kids because the regular ones have much smaller gems, the crayon is a gem picker.
Each copyright reflects the design, so the one that says 2020 was designed and got its (c) in 2020. The item can be manufactured whenever, the copyright reflects the design itself. Kind of like when you buy a book and it was printed last year but the first page first lists it as published in 1925 or whatever :)
I would have loved this when I was a little girl. My birthday is the 19th so I would have got the adorable nail file. The black stickers I think are scratch art. The magnet is a book mark, you can pop it around the top of a page to mark you place, and if you have the book in your bag the marker doesn't fall out the book. And the tattoo I would have used to decorate something
My number's 6 and I got the charm bracelet my favorite number is 16 with the ornament and you scratch it with a paperclip stay safe everyone and have an awesome and wonderful day wherever you are. 😊😊👍👍
The ruler would still be useful as a straight edge for folding, drawing lines, making things equal distance apart & so on. So still useful, plus still of course useful for measuring, just have to hit up google for finding out the translation since most of us aren't great at conversion (most all of us can do some real general broad strokes conversion 4"=10cm; 1yd=3ft; 0c is freezing, 20c is comfortable, 40c is roasting; that type of stuff. same as the rest of the world can do conversion to what we use.)
I recently tried the Elmer's Squishies craft kit and it was delightful! The only problem I had was that the glue is actually glitter glue. I'm allergic to glitter (including edible glitter, surprisingly) and can't really squish my little guy 🥺 I can't wait til we ban glitter
That looks like an interesting set. I’d have liked to see more substantial craft bits - like the gift tags. I guess that might have made it too expensive though. I love the foil sticker thing though. That looks like a lot of fun! Also, I like stickers, but I’m never quite sure what to put them on! Does anyone else have that issue? Love the video. Very informative.
Something I do, is that I take a thick piece of paper or paperstock if you will, decorate around the edges with washi tape, and then put my stickers in a order I like on there. That way, I can keep them forever and move them around as I please on my wall. Don't have to worry about feeling like I waste them or wanted to use them somewhere else. :) Before that, I use to barely use them because I just couldn't decide where I wanted them, lol!
I often have to use a Google converter thingy because while I did learn centimeters and such in school, I still struggle to comprehend lol anything math related, not my strong suit. In fact, I almost didn't get my GED because of it. Yes, centimeters are included in American math.

I’m back for one more
Hi my birth-day is the 28th!
Im the 5th❤
Mine is the 7th 💙🩵✨
the black sticker that had a pencil on it was actually just like the ornament, a scratching sheet, so you could maybe take a toothpick and scratch it, and then colors come out!❤
I was really surprised she didn't come to that conclusion
She tried to scratch it I think it was for gel pens
Yup exactly this! It's a scratching thingy where colors are underneath but those unsharpen color pencils are just not enough to scratch it.
True😊😊❤
I'm pretty sure I remember her doing a video with this type of scratch it off paper. I'm just not sure how long it's been lol

Sephora and Channel looking at you 👀
You can use the temporary tattoos for crafting. I add them to my notebooks even, they stick to wood and glass too. :)
I use them to paint rock on
Haha
Why has no one ever told me this? It is a brilliant idea.
I love adding them to my journals. I also use to add them to my door frame as a kid. I loved it.
@@RenAsterionyou could put them in an album like a sticker album
The gem bracelet that you used the crayon to place the gems, that's what diamond panting is like. Super simple and relaxing! You should get mini sticker diamond paintings to try!🎉
The one you're calling a magnet is actually a bookmark for your books. It holds a couple pages together and you just go from there.
When I was a little girl I would have absolutely loved this advent calendar it's so cute and looks like decent quality
im an adult and i still want it 🤣
That craft you liked with the gems on the bracelet is just like diamond painting. I love it.
You can definitely put the tattoos in UV resin it's super cool

Number 11 was interesting. The little peacock/penguin character is cute. Glad the paint was good and not super cheap
I must say...this was actually an AMAZING advent calendar for what it is. I would've been so so happy with this when i was young!
My dyi minature kits tend to use CM measurements so having a cm only ruler would still be useable for me
The nebulous star's website only ships to Canada. So it makes sense they would only include centimeters.
I can definitely use the nail stickers on my own nails because it adds a bit of cuteness to any color for a bit of pop, absolutely adorable 🥰🥰🥰
As a little girl I would have loved this. I like that they give you so many activities to do.
CM rulers, especially little ones, are great for sewing & jewelry supplies for adult amerigrains & any kids that do sewing/beading. Also awesome for taking to school!
Those peacock painting tags are super cute!
The artwork on the box is so beautiful. I kinda want the dolls to this line now. Those glittery cute anime style eyes get you.

Watching Jackie not know abt how fun the stim is to scratch away the black is killing me. But it is what it is lmao
Everything aside, Jackie's turning cuter day by day

The shaker magnet can actually be used as a bookmark.
18:55 Kinda want to see that one as a resin charm. Its super cute!
The black sheet with the cute animal it is for things like that you use for scraping you make it however you want. It turns rainbow. ❤️❤️❤️
My number is 15, the glitter snowflake tag! I am obsessed! I decorate with snowflakes, blue, white and twinkle lights as well!

YASSS I REALLY LOVE THIS CONTENT, ADVENT CALENDAR REALLY GIVES CHRISTMAS VIBES 💜
Standard rulers in the US have both cm and Inches, contrary to everyone's belief we do use them and know how to use them!
What's funny Tiffy is many older Canadians never switched over to the metric system. Oh, I like this. All the cute craft kit type activities 😍
I know it's a good day when Jackie posts
The "mvp" clear crayon thingy reminds me of the "glue" from my diy glittery Little Mermaid puzzle, paper doll set type things and other craft kits in early 90s!!
I kinda wouldn't mind getting this for myself. I love the aesthetics, and everything is something usable.
Jackie cracks me up all the time!!! I love how WIDE her creative range is!!
One of my favorite advent calendars you have done ❤
I have a feeling Jackie will make her own Advent Calendar. 😂

I just love the advent calendars with chocolates 😂no way to be disappointed with chocolate.
I love that the Elmer’s squish thing is sponsoring you.
the shakey magnet thing is actually a bookmark :) the two magnets go onto the side of the paper in books and keep your place.
Please do a review of a bunch of Nebulous Stars art kits and other activity sets they've put out. They all look like so much fun!
The nail decor stickers were on my birthday! Highly appropriate, as I use nail stickers to decorate my miniature knick-knacks for my doll house!
