I was writing in my “Diary of a Mad Black Woman”, “Why Did I Get Married”, it was because of “Acrimony”, so we got a “Divorce in the Black”, and then I got remarried and I thought to myself “Why Did I Get Married 2”, this mf here. I’m tired of living in a “House of Payne”, “I can do bad all by myself” because my name is mf “Mea Culpa”… I’m tired of people making money off other people’s struggles.

Building planes will financially elevate Tyler Perry above the film industry he's currently involved. A shake up is coming therefore it is a good move forward. An observation standing out for this viewer.

Hats off to Tyler Perry. I have been waiting for a movie like this. It accurately depicts the madness associated with untreated borderline personality disorder caused by childhood trauma and extreme low self esteem. Thanks to high family values, Ava finally finds the courage to leave the marriage before she loses her self and her sanity. Meanwhile Dallas is lost and engulfed in the rollercoaster of abuse and violence due to broken emotions. The movie shows the war between verbal and physical abuse against strong family values and the black church. It was so real to me and to so many others who can relate and truly understand the generational curse of classism within the black community. EVERY domestic abuse case or crime of passion known is based on some level of the emotional turmoil and truma shown in this movie. THANK YOU TYLER. Cory and Meagan did the damn thang...OK!

So weird how he makes the same movie every time. We get it, he didn’t grow up in a stable home. Same Black “struggle love” scenario.

Same movie, just different characters and settings. But his target audience has a victim mentality and enjoy seeing their woes on the big screen.

"The voices kept talking to me and i just started writing it down". I am curious about "the voices". I was writing some stuff recently and the Holy Spirit was talking to me. I guess we co-wrote. But it was only the one voice.
Recent interviews of people channeling the spirits of the thr ancestors, allowing the character to basically possess them, concern me greatly.
I'm probably going to watch out of curiosity, but i will definitely be praying first. If God says turn it off or shut it down, that's just what i will do.

Making a movie exploring divorce but couldn't marry the woman you were with for years and had a child with. Seems to me he should be making movies exploring the real reasons behind not heading to the alter with someone good enough to make a baby with.

Though I am not a huge Tyler Perry fan, I realize at the end of the day, his fan base loves him and will support him. People complain about his topics and the writing, but are people supporting well written bio or period pieces featuring black characters?
