    FYI, the "diffuser flowers" are sola wood flowers, if people want to search for them.

    Thanks for making, this, it's so informative and well made! I love that amber vase too!! The isopropyl part was funny (it's eye-so-PRO-puhl, if that's helpful lol)

    Phase separation occurred after the addition of alcohol to the mixture. Have you experienced such a problem? How can I solve this?

    when the scent is gone, can you simply retain the carrier oil in the existing vessel and add new essential oil and a little alcohol?

    • @Everythingsjustpeachy
      @Everythingsjustpeachy  2 года назад +2

      I would recommend making a whole new batch since the carrier oil can and will eventually expire. That being said, you could experiment on maybe a "top off" of scent and a little alcohol between changing oils out, I'd just keep a close eye on it to be sure you're not growing mold or anything like that.

    I tested a few oils to see how they carry .I put dye in the oils to see how they travelled up the reeds and I found the almond oil barely carried at all. 😢

    Hi! Can I use ceramic instead of glass as well?:)

    • @Everythingsjustpeachy
      @Everythingsjustpeachy  Год назад +2

      Hello! Yes! Actually, using ceramic will probably keep the oil for longer because there's no light allowed through. I will say though that the ceramic should probably be glazed, or have some sort of finish on there. Clay and terracotta can be porous, and could absorb the oil right into it 😅

      There are conversion tables online. I use them fairly often. In the U.S. we use the imperial not metric system.

    • @ABC1701A
      @ABC1701A 6 месяцев назад

      @@sandijohnson4630 You use the US sort of imperial system, your pints/gallons, even your cups etc bear little resemblance to the measurements of the ones we use (we're dual metric/imperial and no, we're not the UK either).
