Hi Tom, burning question. How often do you do your check of "are we recording" to only find that you weren't? We only ever get to see the times when you were recording haha
Speaking as another player who records games from GeoGuessr, I'd say it does happen quite regularly - it seems to be hard to find screen-recording software that isn't a bit flaky.
@@salovamrani2084 For the most part it's just one of his things that people expect in his videos at this point and it did feel like the first and second ones were pretty close without a noticeable timegap so it might have been a bit silly to check there, but the final one was 26 attempts later so he easily could have stopped it accidentally or had it stop along the way (I've had both those happen with OBS). I have to imagine that with some videos where he plays for hours, there are times when it has stopped recording or perhaps where he starts and stops recording a lot and forgets to restart on occasion. We're never going to see the times when he might have checked and found it not recording but I assume it has happened.
