Jerry you are still Beaver to your fans. I watch and tape the show. One of my favorites is the billboard. The show still brings warm ness to my heart. Back when it was filmed the world was a different place. It gives me hope that no matter what is on the other side of the door, there are still places like that on earth. You look good and still seem to be innocent and child like. Thanks for taking the time for the interview, you are still a legend.

I wasn't born yet for the original series. I was a kid in the early 80's so I watched re-runs, but I do remember the reunion series "Still the Beaver". I can't believe so many of them are dead now, Eddy Haskell, Wally, Lumpy. So sad. Great interview.
I’m 46 from the uk and come across leave it to beaver by mistake .. I absolutely love the show it’s so real so pure and honest shame tv isn’t the same .. 🙏🇬🇧

Leave it to Beaver was part of my daily routine. I grew up watching Jerry Mathers grow up. He spent some time at WOWO Fort Wayne, radio station and I caught all of his interviews. Thanks for taking the time and making the effort.
That is very cool that Jerry was in Fort Wayne for that and you both share the same name as well! My pleasure to share it with you. Jerry was a thrill to interview and he didn’t disappoint in any way, just a great guy. Hope you enjoy some of the other celeb interviews on my channel!😀

Jerry Mathers always gives terrific interviews. I always loved Hugh Beaumont’s Ward Cleaver. He reminded me of my father who passed away when I was eleven years old. Your interviews are outstanding and true treasures. Thank you so much.

All of the child actors you interview have such good attitudes and have done well in life. It is always fun to learn more about them. Jerry has done so well for himself. He sure doesn't look 73.
I enjoy watching Leave it to beaver the actors are awesome Rest In peace to those who passed l watch leave it to beaver on metv awesome family tv show thank you all for the awesome memories I will always cherish them your friend Sharon L Curry from Decatur Illinois
That was very nice to hear Sharon. Leave It To Beaver will go on for a long time to come, it is just a great show. Glad the interview brought back great memories😀
Loved this! (Have had the pleasures of meeting Jerry Mathers several times over the years, at autograph shows. Always tell him that "Mrs. Cleaver has nice children." And, they always were! Ken Osmond, too!)
I absolutely love Leave it to Beaver. I saw Tony Dow at a fan event for another actor years ago and I'm still kicking myself that I was too nervous to approach him. I would love to meet Jerry Mathers, though. God bless Tony and Ken Osmond as well.
Having had the fortune to meet Jerry a couple times I will tell you he is just like the Beav in so many genuine ways. Nice guy. I also regret not meeting Tony or interviewing him, have only heard the best about him.
Wonderful interview with Jerry. Fun hearing his many stories. I forgot he was in Trouble With Harry. He played Shirley McLaine's son. Such a funny movie. 😂
Another great interview. LITB is just a great show. My brother idolized Wally. These shows are how shows should be, without the garbage. Obviously this is why this show and others of their time have such staying power. Solid, decent shows will always be the best. Jerry, thank you for your legacy.
Thank you Martha😀I completely agree, LITB is ageless and it just takes you back to such a special time. Jerry really carries on the legacy of the show with class. Thanks cool about your brother, I bet there were a lot of guys who thought the world of Wally.
The show comes on here at 6am and I get up and watch the two episodes that are aired. The whole cast and crew is just timeless and still remains one of my all time favorite shows. Beaver still look good. I would LOVE to meet him. He is an absolute treasure, and an incredible person.

the greatest child actor to ever walked the earth and deservedly so. whomever did beavers dialogue was something else. The show was such a perfect blend of 1950s childhood culture and genuine situational humor. SOOOO GOOD all the cast were awesome.
I remember watching an episode of Bewitched where Jerry's brother Jim Mathers played a guest role on that show. I thought they were twins when they were younger, but they were born in different years. Their resemblance is uncanny. Jim Mathers had a chance to work with June Lockhart as his mother on that particular episode. It looks like Jim moved on as an actor, but he is a cinematographer and a director of photography for different productions.
It was a show a lot of times about growing pains through a kids 👀 eyes which was so cute for grown ups but relatable on a child’s level. Loved by the old and young audiences ❤
During the interview Mr. Mathers explained that almost all the crew and the writers / producers were all family men used to children . This maybe the secret to the success of LITB . A different focus than other family TV sitcoms at that time : O & H , Donna Reed , and FKB .
