The soft and gentle mannerisms from Gavin with Colette when he’s reassuring her and fixing her hair when saying goodbye. It really is telling of how loving and vocal Shay and Colette are about their love with one another. It’s very inspiring and important to see for your viewers who one day wish to have a family of our own. There’s a lot of values we learn from you guys, and I’d like to personally thank you for them ❤️

But now seeing this with Gav...it hits even harder and it feels like letting part of my family go😭😭❤️ thanks for Letting us be Part of it. So proud of the amazing young man he had become. Gavin has always had my heart. He’s just so sweet and adorable! One of my first memories of him was when you were dragging a tube in the snow of Idaho and the kids were taking turns I think. I’m not a religious person and i wasn’t raised religious in my home but i was raised by you guys and i hold family morals you have taught all of us throughout the years. I’m the same age as gavin and growing up as an only child watching your videos made me feel like i was a part of a bigger family than i am. Excited to see the change will have occurred within him in two years. He has always been so strong and outgoing and had so much love and support, being detached from that, and being exposed to people who haven't experienced that, in a very direct way. Will really change his perspective and give him a totally different set of skills and strengths.
There goes the best big brother on the planet. He has always been the kindest, most considerate, loving, helpful, patient, big brother to all his younger siblings. A great role model. A true gentleman. I don't know if they realize it but Avia, Emmy, Brock and Daxton are so very lucky. I balled my eyes out watching this, from the very start showing Gavin leave to the ultimate goodbyes for the next two years. I grew up with Gavin and your family and while he was in HS, I was in college. I recently finished a moved from the northeast to the MidWest for grad school and this brought me back to this somber yet proud moment when I also had to say goodbye to my family to go grow as a human being. I wish him the most growth and happiness while in Mexico, and I hope he finds wealth in his experiences and opportunities while there. I also wish for you and your family the best as well as I’m sure it’s hard to see a child go off, but always know he’s in good hands. I am very glad to see he has already been in contact 🥰

Gavin has always had my heart. He’s just so sweet and adorable! One of my first memories of him was when you were dragging a tube in the snow of Idaho and the kids were taking turns I think. And Gavin’s little voice “is it my turn yet? Dad, can I go now? “ over and over. He was just so dang cute! Gavin will make us all proud. What a great young man you’ve raised. I’m not a religious person and i wasn’t raised religious in my home but i was raised by you guys and i hold family morals you have taught all of us throughout the years. I’m the same age as gavin and growing up as an only child watching your videos made me feel like i was a part of a bigger family than i am. I cant control my tears watching this as i have truly grown up with your whole family. My parents are going through a hard patch right now similar to yours years past and having your family to watch now gives me a reason to keep going and have hope, true faith and choose happiness.

Excited to see the change will have occurred within him in two years. He has always been so strong and outgoing and had so much love and support, being detached from that, and being exposed to people who haven't experienced that, in a very direct way. Will really change his perspective and give him a totally different set of skills and strengths.
There goes the best big brother on the planet. He has always been the kindest, most considerate, loving, helpful, patient, big brother to all his younger siblings. A great role model. A true gentleman. I don't know if they realize it but Avia, Emmy, Brock and Daxton are so very lucky. Collette and Shay can stand proud knowing they raised such an outstanding human who will no doubt leave the world a better place than he found it. And there he goes, off to devote two years of his life to God. I'm just so proud vicariously through you guys. Thanks for sharing this video with us. I balled my eyes out watching this, from the very start showing Gavin leave to the ultimate goodbyes for the next two years. I grew up with Gavin and your family and while he was in HS, I was in college. I recently finished a moved from the northeast to the MidWest for grad school and this brought me back to this somber yet proud moment when I also had to say goodbye to my family to go grow as a human being. I wish him the most growth and happiness while in Mexico, and I hope he finds wealth in his experiences and opportunities while there. I also wish for you and your family the best as well as I’m sure it’s hard to see a child go off, but always know he’s in good hands. I am very glad to see he has already been in contact 🥰
