I’ve been watching Shaytard vlogs since Gavin was in kindergarten. The ending gave me chills. A funny, giggling, dancing little boy has grown into a man. I’m now pregnant with my first child and I hope I’ll be as loving, strong, and kind as Colette. She’s handled motherhood so beautifully over the years. Such an inspiring woman to young moms ❤

As a grown man who grew up with this family and waiting for their Christmas specials to drop to watch it to have that feeling of happiness and safety in a family, I literally almost cried when I seen this Notification of this video !
Every time I watch the Shaytards Christmas special, my heart fills up with so many emotions. This family was a bright spot in my life when I was really struggling. During my pediatric residency, when I was fighting anxiety and depression, their videos were sometimes the only thing that made me smile. I felt an even stronger bond with them when my first child was born 9 days before Daxton. Those Christmas specials became something precious, something I waited for all year. I'm deeply thankful for the joy they brought into my life. Now, seeing some of the kids already grown up and leaving home, it makes me feel sad. It's like a reminder of how quickly time passes and how important it is to hold onto every moment. Thank you, Shaytards, for all the joy and the smiles in the times I needed them most.

I have only just started rewatching you guys and now Avia and Emmi's channels, and I want to share how much love and warmth I feel and see from you guys. Growing up I didn't receive nurture and warmth of love in the way a child needs, so seeing you Shay and Colette give your children such love, it fills we with me much warmth and happiness. This is my 11th consecutive year watching! This year’s special felt very reminiscent to years prior. The amount of memories I personally have with a family I’ve never met in person is quite incomparable, from when you guys went to the gym on Christmas Eve to when you all sang karaoke, when Logan was on his mission and Shay read aloud Logan’s letter while grandmatard cried and when Shay got Gavin that huge helicopter, just to name a few, looking forward to many more memories that we all get to share together.💙💛
The Shaytards Christmas special never fails to put a smile on my face! I’m 24 and started watching when I was around 13 or 14, it’s crazy to see how much these kids have grown up. The ending with Gavin singing almost brought me to tears, I can’t believe how much all these kids have grown and it makes me realize how much I’ve grown as well. Alright I gotta comment twice because I have genuinely been on a JOURNEY with y'all 😂 I started watching in my 20s with zero kids, and now I'm 35 with 4 kids! So I am not lying when I say I've been along for the ride!! Haha. This probably seems so random but one thing/memory that really stands out and touches my heart is remembering Carlie as a young single mama! She mentioned once on the Mom's View that she and Coop would just "go where ever we are welcomed" for Christmas because they just worked around what the other families planned. Now she's happily married and expecting baby # what, five?! The kids aren't the only ones in this family whom we have watched grow with pride! Thanks for bringing us along xo

Gav at the end singing had me emotional. He's a fully grown man and all I thought about is his past singing in videos when he's a little boy. My my how he turned out. You guys must be so proud of him, Avia, Emmi, Brock and Dax. Such beautiful children with wonderful natures

This is my 11th consecutive year watching! This year’s special felt very reminiscent to years prior. The amount of memories I personally have with a family I’ve never met in person is quite incomparable, from when you guys went to the gym on Christmas Eve to when you all sang karaoke, when Logan was on his mission and Shay read aloud Logan’s letter while grandmatard cried and when Shay got Gavin that huge helicopter, just to name a few, looking forward to many more memories that we all get to share together.💙💛

The Shaytards Christmas special never fails to put a smile on my face! I’m 24 and started watching when I was around 13 or 14, it’s crazy to see how much these kids have grown up. The ending with Gavin singing almost brought me to tears, I can’t believe how much all these kids have grown and it makes me realize how much I’ve grown as well. I grew up watching your channel. this year was an especially difficult one for me, but having this constant tradition of your Christmas special made the end of my year so much better. Gavin has an absolutely incredible voice. Kind of random but I'm the same age as him and graduated the same year, and I'm also an aspiring singer. its so incredible seeing people my age with my same interests experiencing life. i love your family so much. thank you for always being a beacon of light in a world that can be so scary for so many.

Alright I gotta comment twice because I have genuinely been on a JOURNEY with y'all 😂 I started watching in my 20s with zero kids, and now I'm 35 with 4 kids! So I am not lying when I say I've been along for the ride!! Haha. This probably seems so random but one thing/memory that really stands out and touches my heart is remembering Carlie as a young single mama! She mentioned once on the Mom's View that she and Coop would just "go where ever we are welcomed" for Christmas because they just worked around what the other families planned. Now she's happily married and expecting baby # what, five?! The kids aren't the only ones in this family whom we have watched grow with pride! Thanks for bringing us along xo
