Truly humbling experience

Life lesson: pack underwear in carry-on for at least 3 days.
Did Steve hire someone to play a sitar jingle whenever he walks into a room?
That would be hilarious
Like President... Taft, I think it was, who came up with the idea of playing Hail to the Chief every time he walked into the room because he was a bit unnoticeable otherwise.
@@IntensivePorpoise Wasn't Taft quite famously 150kg heavy? I feel like that would be quite noticeable.
@@TetraDax yeah, I picked the wrong short named president. It was Polk (well, his wife, I actually remembered that part all along but left it out of my original comment for brevity).
Nabbed this quote from Wikipedia:
"Polk was not an impressive figure, so some announcement was necessary to avoid the embarrassment of his entering a crowded room unnoticed. At large affairs the band ... rolled the drums as they played the march ... and a way was cleared for the President."

Hope you had a good stay in my city.
You at the right time at the right place 😂
Locals never dress like that haha
Ohh if u dont dress in shirt apparently its real funny . Great now i know how to think

Ikr? Guy kept wearing wedding kurtas when he came here, so his wife divorced him .😂😂😂

They are so polite, to even listen to him instead of punching him in the face after ten seconds.

@@sublimeranger. Nah. There is more than one Irish Indian in Ireland 🤣🤣
Reminds me of a yoga class I tried once. Instructor was a young middle class white guy. He welcomed newbie me to the class and scoffed slightly when I said I’d followed a few RUclips yoga videos, but otherwise I was a total beginner. He mentioned that he’d just got back from India. Several times. He then started the class and his accent suddenly shifted from somewhen in Surrey to deepest Mumbai! My face was like this 😮. I glanced around at all the other people (mainly young white women) taking the class and they were all hanging on his every word. I could almost see his head swelling as his ego inflated! @@moonhunter9993hilarious, I joined a yoga programme here in India, South Delhi, there was white lady in the class, going by the many Hindi tattoos on her, she definitely was here for sometime, with questions like how deep to we have to breath, up to stomach or lower, the class was full of snobbish people so every was joining in the boat, it was sad
I live near Hrishikesh, the Yoga capital & went to this meditation camp for mental issues as suggested by my shrink. There were many such westerners as instructors who were literally preaching natives their own religion & culture, that too wrongly. Ran away on the very first day.

HAhahaha, Hialrious!! Amazing how many niche references you included like staying at a fancy resort the entire time, visiting Goa, calling McDonalds "local cuisine", the f**in henna :D
I've been to India and met these people, I'm not even exaggerating
To be fair I do go to a McDonalds (or a similar chain when unavailable) once, whenever I travel and sample the country-specific stuff they have. Those carry some local cuisine elements. I sure did it in India too. What I remember is, they didn't have red meat, they only had chicken or aloo (veg option). Burger King had mutton though.
100% correct... But thats not local cuisine.. we are as conservative about our food as Italians... So please dont insult indian local food by comparing it with MacDonald or kfc.. 😅😅

Which is funny because a lot of Indians just call it India. Particularly in the South, because they find it neutral and not derived from the Northern languages they believe are being imposed on them.
@@rayelgatubelobut there's a plan to change the country's official name to Bharat, no?
And that comes with a lot of resentment from the South because it comes from Sanskrit roots and they speak Dravidian languages.
