In this video I am watching the movie "Transformers (2007)". The fate of humanity is at stake when two races of robots, the good Autobots and the villainous Decepticons, bring their war to Earth. The robots have the ability to change into different mechanical objects as they seek the key to ultimate power. Only a human youth, Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) can save the world from total destruction.

@DosCavazos I'm glad you enjoyed this movie, now you have to check out the sequels

If you guys get a chance please watch X-men ‘97 for the channel. The writing is amazing and the action is superb, each episode just keeps building on the excitement of the last please react to that as well.
Next movie should be Transformers: Bumblebee. Before you watch the rest. It’s a prequel to the first movie
To this day, "What I've Done" playing over Optimus' speech is the best/most hype ending to a movie that we have seen as a species 😤 I will die on this meme hill
NEW DIVIDE.... THE DEFINITIVE TRANSFORMERS THEME
Agree love Lincoln park. This is the only good transformers movie
@@TheGovernor-vw9cfit's Linkin Park for 1 and all them are amazing
Peter Cullen’s voice just reaches right into my soul.
Kacey PLEASE keep watching this series. You’ll love em
*YES!* But also, please react to Armageddon, it's an amazing movie!
Fr
Kacey please keep watching it your doing amazing 🎊 ❤
All of them are good except for TLK. AOE is the second worst but still has good parts.
@@ProbieKnox and Deep Impact
It’s impressive how amazing the CGI still looks for a 2007 movie. Out of all the Transformers films, they went hard on the music score for this one. Autobots arriving theme is so well done
2007 wasn't exactly the Dark Ages. Sure, we didn't have any nuclear-powered robots with laser guns rolling around Mars at the time, but only because our first one was still travelling there that year.
@@BogeyTheBeartrue but I miss 2007
@@BogeyTheBear Considering how much technology has improved its actually kind of baffling that CG hasnt improved a ton. Certain things from that era hold up better than movies that came out last year. The Transformers here look just as good if not better at times than the latest Transformers movie which came out last year. You line those 2 right next to eachother and its hard to believe that there is over 15 years between them.
“More than meets the eye” is like the transformers motto since a long time ago
Yeah, it was part of the theme song on the cartoon. I think she missed that reference.
@@randall-king She never mentioned the cartoons so it's likely Kacey doesn't know transformers is more than just a film franchise, it's not her fault
"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings!" Best line in the franchise.
"The THINGS are turning into THINGS" loll dying.

In 2,000 years some nerd will say: "Before time began, there was an animated series based on a toyline."
Fun fact: When Megatron was on ice, he was conscious the entire time. Since he landed on Earth. For all these years he heard everything the humans said.
When Sam saw him he called him "Megatron, the destroyer of worlds, the conquerer, the tyrant", Megatron heard someone pronounce his name for the first time in 2000 years. At Sector 7 they all called him "NBE-1", even correcting Sam when he called him Megatron. So when he got unfrozen he said "I AM *MEGATRON!!!!!* " just to correct the humans and confirming that his name was the one Sam said.
Fact?
You sure you didn't just watch that one theory short?
Starscream, Megatron's second in command has always been my favorite Transformer. He's the fighter jet.
Same. Love Starscream.
Not my favorite Transformer, but my favorite name.
Screaming through the stars. 😎
And mine. The scene where he styles on both Ironhide and Ratchet before transforming and blasting off had me set. Shame they seriously nerfed him after T1.
My favourite decepticon is starscreams favourite flier Thundercracker
This in the cinema was GOAT
The transformers trilogy is SOO GOOD. The humor, the action, Shia Lebouf, and the amazing effects are always worth watching!! Continue the next two please!
The one place that these movies shine for me (at least the first) is the sound design and production. 10/10
That's what I thought about Dune, sounds design surpasses the visuals. not popular opinion though.
Michael Bay was always hyping up his effects team and giving them their due. The behind the scenes are insane. Props to those stunt people.
@@Blackcrow2077Nolan, Bay, and Schneider are up there with Lucas, Cameron & Spielberg in terms of production
This was huge when it came out. I remember seeing it in the theater and how the audience reacted overwhelmingly positively. Lots of laughs, etc. The very definition of a summer must-see blockbuster.
Transformers was the first Blu-Ray I bought, I wouldn't have it in a lesser resolution, even today the CGI is remarkable.
The creepy Sector 7 agent who arrests Sam and Mikayla is played by John Turturro - who you may remember as the butler in Mr. Deeds.
‘I fear you might be underestimating the sneakiness, sir’
25:38 Fun fact that guy Megatron flicked was played by Director Michael Bay
Arrival To Earth by Steve Jablonsky
Never gets old
I have an Autobots symbol stuck to my van. LOL. I'm 56 and watched the Transformers cartoon in the 80s as a teen. :D
Definitely need to watch Armageddon it’s so much fun!!
BTW Bumble Bee's original car form was the yellow Volkswagon Beetle but when Michael Bay made his version of Transformers he made Bee's car form the 1977 Chevrolet Camero because it was cooler and also Bee could talk but Bay thought it would be cool if Bee talked through the car's radio instead of using his actual voice
Bee was a Camaro because Bay had a huge marketing tie-in with Chevrolet when his movies were made. Notice how nearly all the Autobots transform into Chevy or GMC vehicles. That was watered down after the Great Recession when GM kinda went bankrupt and had to be bailed out.
@24:43 - This is the kind of insightful commentary we all come here for... 🤣🤣🤣
“I liked that the transformers all had their own unique personalities and I assume in the next movies we’ll see more of them.”
😂😂😂😂 oh she has no clue the development other transformers get in the future.
I love how 1st Sam was running after his car thinking it was stolen, then it starts to go after him. 😂 Hilarious
The origins of the Transformers is broken down exceptionally well in an episode of a Netflix series called 'The Toys That Made Us'. They get into how execs from Hasbro combined various toy lines of transforming toys from Japanese company Takara to re-brand their products into the broader Transformers brand for international markets. It's pretty a fascinating watch.
While vehicles are typically the main form they take, there have been bots that have been boom boxes, a microscope, cameras, hand guns, animals, insects and all sorts of goofy and fun forms
Regardless of how many sequels you eventually do or don't watch you have to watch the spin-off Bumblebee with Hailee Steinfeld.
Watch the Animated TRANSFORMERS movie from 1986.
The original scripts were a lot different than the final cut of the movie:
One draft had the robot characters arrive on Earth in a large spacecraft.
It was going to be told from a human perspective, very similar to 1970's disaster films. The robot characters had no dialogue at all.
Another draft had 6 Autobots and 6 Decepticons arriving on Earth and that they that have been feuding since the dawn of time, implying that they have been around for billions of years. The climax would have been an old style showdown in the Grand Canyon before it was changed to the city.
Joseph Kahn and Robert Zemeckis were considered for directing the movie, until producer Steven Spielberg picked Michael Bay. Ay first, Bay turned it down, because he thought that making a kids movie aimed at kids ws a stupid idea, but when he read the script, he knew it would be more darker than the final cut of the film
On a boring weekend afternoon, I put this movie on for my 5 year old son back then after it first came out and an immediate relationship between my son and Transformers was born. They've been inseparable since. It's been 15 years. We both went to the movie theater to see the new Transformers movie with Anthony Ramos. Yes, I, too, am a fan.
The guy that gets flicked by Megatron is the director Michael Bay fun fact.
This movie is just incredible, especially when know that it made in 2007, insane!
The ending with the parents is so American 🤣 Free'est freedom a freedom could have 😂
The mom was hilarious. "We'll call it Sam's happy time".
Transformers is like Jurassic Park for me. The first movie was good but the sequels got progressively worse to the point I stopped caring when one was announced.
Same here 👍🏻
Same although I heard the new one was really really good
Dark of the moon was good too
Watching the original animated series and animated movie is a must.
This one is an ALL TIME Classic. The CGI is some the best in history.
Can’t wait for you to react to the other ones
Got to watch the 1980s animated Transformers movie. That is the real one.
The first one is still a really fun and charming film. Has that Spielberg touch. They definitely go off the rails after part 1, but it doesn't change how great part 1 was in 2007. I'm an 80s kid who grew up on the original series and adored the first film
AUTOBOTS, ROLL OUT!
They aren't brothers, but bonded before the fall of Cybertron. They were like officers serving under Sentinel Prime. Optimus finds out he is a descendant of the Primes, the ones who rule Cybertron. Megatron's jealousy drives him to the Fallen, those that opposed the Primes.
Definitely keep watching the rest of them. This film was a great way to start a film series for the franchise!
You ABSOLUTELY have to watch Armageddon. Such a fun, emotional movie.
Transformers started off as an animated series and then they made toys which became wildly popular to children everywhere
Flip that...
It was synergy. Made the cartoon to help sell the toys transported over from Japan.
It was very common in the 80s, really... GI Joe, He-man, Transformers
Cartoons were just big commercials
@@robhax ok, i understand
Flip that. Hasbro & Takara Tomy collabed to produce the Transformers toy line. After their huge success, Marvel then produced Transformers comic books, & then Marvel Productions and Sunbow Productions create the TV series in association with Toei Animation for the first-run syndication.
@@MarzOnline92 oh yeah, I forgot about the Transformer comics
@MarzOnline92 Hasbro went to Japan to find new toys to sell to American children. The toys they event bought and rebranded as "Transformers" already existed - the First Generation.
In fact, many were from completely separate toy lines in Japan.
That's why some of the Transformer figures are... odd. They are fullsized vehicles, except for Megatron and Soundwave? Those were from a special toy line dedicated to transforming small items
The black pickup Autobot was Ironhide and he is my favorite transformer in the Micheal Bay movies.
Fyi The yellow Beetle was the original version of Bumblebee in the 80s cartoon. So cute😊
YES TRANSFORMERS IS CELEBRATING THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY!
I think the most underappreciated joke in the movie is the ostrich in the car lot petting zoo. If you haven't encountered an ostrich, DO NOT put your hand anywhere near it, particularly if it has food in it. Those necks move fast.
I used to watch Transformers cartoon when I was a kid. Optimus Prime and Grimlock are my favorite characters. I used to have the 80s toys but I bought a loose Grimlock off a guy at a game store years ago. The store didn’t want it so I bought it off the guy for 20 dollars. I’m meeting Peter Cullen in July who voices Optimus Prime from the tv show and these movies. When Shia says more than meets the eye. That is from the tv show Transformers more than meets the eye. I liked Optimus Prime character because the voice is amazing for his character
Easter egg, Bumblebee’s original form was parked next to him. The VW
As a child of the 1970s, the Transformers were a massive part of my childhood - I see you've reacted to the 1986 animated movie too so I'll watch that reaction too.
As soon as the helicopter (Blackout) made that familiar "transforming" sound, I was a child again! And even more when Optimus Prime appeared, and spoke with the familiar voice of Peter Cullen, who has voiced the character since 1984!
I used to have a friend who was a massive nitpicker with films; when he watched this, it got to the scene where Lennox (Josh Duhamel) slides off the motorbike to shoot Blackout from underneath. My friend said "that was totally unbelievable, no trousers could stop his skin getting ripped to shreds by the road friction!" I could only reply "THAT'S what you nitpick in a movie about 20-foot-tall transforming alien robots?!"
THE 2007 MOVIE STILL HOLDS UP!
Lady, "more than meets the eye" is part of the song of the 80's TV cartoon series which is called Generation one or G1. Live action movies are based on those cartoons and toy line. the voice of Optimus Prime is the same of the cartoon series, Peter Cullen...and some other cool things, fan service etc.
A transformers ability to change what they can turn into can vary. Some start out what they turn into, like Scorponok, city bots/titans, and insecticons. The usual cybertronian can change what they turn into via scanning, which can be re-done.
I'm willing to bet that no character in the entire franchise had more thought put into their personality than Peter Cullen did for Optimus. He got advice from his brother (who was in the military, RIP) how to sound like a hero: "Be tough enough to be gentle."
Found you just because of this reaction PLEASE keep going with all the Transformers :)
MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE!
6:55 before this moment, Bumblebee was literally telling Sam "Come on man. You got this. You can do it!". And then "Oooh fine, I'll help you. BABY COME BACK! 🎶 - _ - "
Yes, please continue watching them Kacey 🙏🏽
Kacey, please keep watching these!
This was honestly a blast, haven't had so much fun watching a react video in so long.
Be aware that the later movies are… messy. Except “Bumblebee”, which was meant to be a prequel but actually isn’t one, and is actually a really great movie in itself.
BTW, the guy who Megatron flicked was Michael Bay himself. Just a funny director’s cameo… And yes, some of the humour is good, even if a lot is weird and uncomfortable.
I was OBSESSED with this movie growing up! So excited to see you watch it!
Keep watching the movies
Yes please keep watching this franchise. It's so worth it!!!!
Yes! More of this saga
Yes keep watching these movies!!!
2:11 They can basically transform into any device/vehicle, or even animals in the case of the Maximals and Predacons. I mean, in the comics there were even bots who turned into memory sticks and toasters, not to mention the orignal Soundwave being a cassette player
the old camero is the best version of bumblebee
fun fact.At 25:39, the person megatron flicked was micheal bay(the director of the movie)
I recommend you checking out more of this franchise! It’s so fun!
Sparks are the hearts/souls of Transformers, the Allspark (which, yes, is the name of the cube) is named as such because its the source from which all sparks come from.
Really would enjoy watching all these Transformers movies with you Kacey. Watching you getting invested as this one progressed was super fun. FYI Bumblebee has his own origin movie and his first human companion is a young lady. I think you will enjoy that one. 😊
3:49 the Labouf monologues were crazy
Yess I would love to see the seriess continue for these movies 😁👍🏼
This is a fun movie. I’ve saw this movie many times, so the filters are no issue.
Kacey, please continue watching these movies
Yeah the whole "More than meets the eye" thing is a call back to the 1982 animated show. "More than meets the eye" is like the Transformers slogan. The main theme song goes: "The Transformers. More than meets the eye." Essentially saying that the vehicles we see aren't actually vehicles.
Finally the way they were differentiated in the beginning was that the Autobots were domestic Land vehicles; such as cars and vans/trucks; while the Decepticons were primarily military vehicles. Fighter Jets, mostly while their leader Megatron was an actual gun. As the seasons moved on their versatility changed and both sides had varying types of vehicles.
At 19:06 I remember everyone laughing at that scene 😂😂😂
Oh Kace, you 1000000% need to keep watching this. To this day, i still can't believe that people diss this trilogy like it's bad shit. It's fun AF.
Re-Watching this again for the 100th time... Optimus being just the most noble soul never fails to get to me.
How has Anthony NOT shown you Armageddon??? Anthony..,.we need to talk dude
Transformers were a major part of my childhood
The speed of the action scenes is so fast the 1st time you watch this movie you have to watch the movie again to really see it all
The next one has the best fight scene out of all of the movies, and the third one is my overall favourite, so yes, please keep going!
Please keep watching these
I still watch this movie to this. Tyrese was my favorite character
Optimus Prime from the first movie:"We have to protect the humans. Extend peace. Be better."
Optimus Prime in the rest of the movies "I will kill all of you."
To be fair, he did spend the better half of about 8 years in universe getting betrayed and sold out by humans in ways that resulted in the deaths of most of his lifelong friends.
Peter Cullen hated that line. He said it went against everything Optimus stood for.
Transformers started out as a toyline produced by Takara in Japan as a spinoff from their Microman action figure line during the late 1970's. Hasbro brought the toyline to the US in 1984 and renamed it Transformers.
Dude Bumblebee was my first Transformer I love since childhood and same my life when I was dreaming
The ending Optimus prime speech with the Lincoln Park song gets me every time. 😊🥲🤘
Yes Kacee, continue with the Transformers franchise
The 1st Transformers is definitely the best of the Michael Bay Transformers' movies. I still get chills watching the beginning of the movie when the Decepticon, Blackout destroys the US military base.
Yes watch them all
I think Transformers is the most underrated movie franchise ever in my opinion I really enjoy the characters both the humans and the autobots the on screen actors and voice actors do a really good job, and the CGI and special effects are still really good and every time I watch Michael Bay Transformers movies they go by quickly for me everybody said their too long but not me I think Transformers is underrated as hell in my opinion.
Star Scream was my favorite in the original G1 cartoons
I was a little disappointed we didn't get Skywarp and Thundercracker in the live action movies (aside from a very quick moment in Bumblebee).
22:42 The reason why he said “I Am Megatron” was because the humans around him kept calling him “NBE 1” or “Ice Man”.
New subscriber, please keep watching this franchise🙏🏽💯
I need the whole series
"More then meets the eye"
Is a lyric from the original theme song
I saw a short clip that stated the person that Megatron flicked was the director of the movie. In the '80s cartoon show Megatron is a gun and not a plane.
"Bumblebee needs to go to the SHOP!" 💀💀💀
"More than meets the eye" was part of the series opening theme song.
Awesome reaction of my favorite Transformers movie!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊
Oh yeah Transformers was always a very popular franchise since the 80's and YES you should continue this movie journey of it with the second one asap!
