I raised my 3 children on The Word and also homeschooled them. I distanced myself from culture and explained to them why. (This is a way bigger and more complicated story than I'm making it sound btw.) Anyway, my kids became adults and all three rejected their faith and me FOR culture and traditional families. There is a craving in our flesh to have those bonds. Look at Jews or Catholics- you don't have to believe in Yahweh or Jesus to be a "good Jew" or a "good Catholic". So for those of us rejected, abandoned or not included, we can praise God as that craving can be for Our Lord and we are not shackled by tradition and the fake security and satisfaction of worldly cultures. But it can be lonely. So here's a hug! 🤗

Yes the cultural practices is a tricky one. My indigenous "culture" is full of black magic/witchcraft and superstition. Trying to navigate being part of that culture while not engaging in those practices is tricky.

I have found that pretty much all of the material possessions that I based my worth off of, the Lord hates. We as humans turn everything material into an idol. So if material things are being removed from your life, and the enemy is trying to convince it was taken away because the Lord is mad at you, that's a lie it is being taken away because it is separating you from the Lord. It'ss hard but you must let it go. He wants an intimate connection with all of us and we must rid ourselves of false idols for that to happen. What a word! Yes. He has had to separate me from my background as well. I was talking to my father once, and he was explaining the meaning of his middle name. I told him that there was a difference between culture and witchcraft. That God knows that difference. Just because we put tea and coffee in the same cup doesn't mean we don't know the difference. Good Day My Beautiful Sister Grace and Peace be unto you...Last night I had a dream saw people going up in the air from all different directions but I was on the ground looking up and I knew it was the rapture ...so i started to cry and ask God to forgive me because I realized that I was not going up at all...But I knew it was to late for me..That was the dream...Can you please tell me what this dream means...I also dreamt this I went and lie down in my bed again, It was about after 9am and as i close my eyes I think its a vision I got I am not sure..but i can tell you i was not asleep...I heard my neighbours arguing so i went to my laundry room by the window it was about 9am the sun was out and as i listened by my window i could not hear properly so i turned to go outside and the same sun that I knew it had just disappeared and as i turned to go out the door the whole place was Jet black even in a dark place you will still be able to see a bit ..I am speaking about Jetttt Black all you seeing is black and I said Jesus what is dis so in my mind i started to think wow where are my boys? and i tried closing the door but when I stepped down to go outside to start closing the door I could not go because i felt like I could not breath so the darkness that started meant that no onc can be outside with it ...I could not breath so i stepped back inside and tried it again to make sure and it was the same...so i took hold of the door knob quickly and closed the door...all doors and windows had to be closed...or else you will die you would not be able to breath ...Then I got up out of the vison

Oh my word!!! I used to work in an office called PIONEERS. Last night I dreamt I was back there and there was a package for me with my name on it. I had to leave my family and culture because they are pacifists and God was calling me to go to war to defend the vulnerable. Instead of going to war they sacrificed children to the enemy.

About 7 years ago God took me into a place of understanding that I had to repent for saying yes to being a god parent. I repented and gave the responsibility of that back to God. Then I prayed this prayer and asked ABBA Father to bring these children on my path as they grow older so that I may be able to share with them and lead them in the way of God. I know the parents may not understand it now, but I know that God never makes mistakes. I felt very guilty and it was a painful experience, but I felt so relieved

Oh my word!!! I used to work in an office called PIONEERS. Last night I dreamt I was back there and there was a package for me with my name on it. I had to leave my family and culture because they are pacifists and God was calling me to go to war to defend the vulnerable. Instead of going to war they sacrificed children to the enemy.
Who sacrificed the children? The people did or you dreamt that?
@@overcomewithheidi3830 My relatives. “The children” being whoever was the person needing defending - a handicapped child, and abused woman etc. In WW2 they refused to fight to defend Jewish people suffering in concentration camps. They believe war is wrong but they allow a much greater wrong to happen. Abuse of the innocent vs. the apprehending of the oppressor. They do not acknowledge the Biblical truth that there is a time for peace and a time for war. They are called Mennonites.

@@overcomewithheidi3830 I feel for you :(. It’s tough. Especially if as a minority or other race you and your culture has been looked down on. We were discriminated against a lot as Mennonites which in some ways made me cling to it tighter. But I know that pacifism is the part of my culture I have to walk away from. This prophetic word today has been so accurate. My “sick” aunt tried to make contact today and a girl with the same name as my cousin asked me for something equivalent to a “USB device”. I’ll be praying for you. Your race and your culture are beautiful even if there are some things you may have to let go of. God bless!

Is seeking a career for stability friendship with the world? I wonder because I know a lot of people who don’t particularly love anything but seek practical career. I actually want to believe what you were saying and have created that as my own myth - telling myself that this is why and that someday I will be the head N not in a proud way-but they will see the things of God are even more blessedWho are the gods way is more blessed and they will seek him. I guess I don’t know if it’s selfish-but I also just want what most people have after college I really want what I thought I would have and I’m still searching for it and still searching to be the blessed one in my family and not the black sheep
anything that people give more attention to then god specially if they don't know or love god is idolatry. worship of false idol or god. careers people worship. while they don't even seek the work that god wants them to do. they only focus on there own worldly wants. we have to survive but any job we work for or business we have should not be wicked or against gods laws. nor should we willing sin just to survive. take all potential careers to god in prayer and he will answer you if its of him or not. you are the head and not the tail in jesus yeti's name and blood. you are not black sheep but apart of the body of christ. god will and is using you and all his children. lots of people go to college and still aren't using there degrees. seek the kingdom of god study the bible the gospel. pray to god without ceasing. thats the school you need to focus on. god gives you all the credentials you need when your working for god. keep seeking and you will find. he will answer. Matthew 7:7 read thew hole chapter.

This is a good teaching for everyone - maybe not everyone is a kinsman redeemer like in your dream, but everyone needs to be aware and break with cultural ties or break with identifying with any thing above a son (and daughter) of God! Repent and renounce those practices. Thank you Lord !

About 7 years ago God took me into a place of understanding that I had to repent for saying yes to being a god parent. I repented and gave the responsibility of that back to God.
Then I prayed this prayer and asked ABBA Father to bring these children on my path as they grow older so that I may be able to share with them and lead them in the way of God.
I know the parents may not understand it now, but I know that God never makes mistakes. I felt very guilty and it was a painful experience, but I felt so relieved
