One trick I learned from drag performers is use stick concealer as eyeshadow primer.then use medicated baby powder to set.medicated baby powder also keeps deodorant lasting all day.

I'm a super dry girlie and I live in a dry climate. I couldn't use powder to set because it always looked too dry. Then I used the Nyx powder based on your recommendation. It is the BEST. I wear my makeup for at least 13 hrs (12 hr shifts) and it wears so much longer now!

If you only knew how dry my skin is. I go through moisturizer in double the time that everybody else does. I have to put a heavy amount on, let is soak in, and then go in with more. I use the Kopari Whipped Ceramide Cream and it’s amazing, but I still have to use a ton. Not as much as before, but I have to use a generous amount. Then I top it off with the Supergoop
ceramide oil. It has taken me years to figure out the right moisturizer that won’t pill with foundation, and the Kopari is my number one.

Great video tutorial Johnny… I’m in the ‘aged’ era not the ‘aging’ one, lol. So creasing IS always the thing. Softening is what I head for… with all of the makeup… I’ve accepted the changes and am always looking for newer and better because it seems that I or the products change every six months or so. That’s the frustration. That’s where you come in. Thanks so much… off to Ulta today✨☀️💫

Congratulations on the NEW studio 😯🎙 💜
Thank you for all of the tricks that you and Robert have taught me so that my makeup will hold out for the entire day! My routine starts out with a freshly exfoliated face followed by essence, Hyloronic acid, light moisturizer or hydrating primer (depending on what my skin needs that day) or just a setting spray, a light eye cream/gel, then lastly a eye shadow primer. My face seems to stay in place 🥳. Sounds like a lot of steps, but compared to what I used to do, without the staying power, it's nothing. Again, many blessings and look out 2024, Johnny is just getting warmed up 💜💥💜

Would love to know how you would deal with sensitive eyes, my eyeshadow and liner last all of about 10mins because my eyes water so much on the outer corners immediately after application, it kills me!
I've made sure my brushes are clean, makeup is in date, use eye drops because I get dry eyes, setting sprays, everything and nothing seems to work. I PRAY it's not allergy related, but I've only developed this in the last year or so and I'd be SO grateful for any advice you might have!!

7:15 my fav tip for “oily” or “greasy” brows (those of us who have oily skin know what I’m talking about) is I think I learned from Hrush is do brows FIRST (after washing & toning your face, if you tone), don’t do eye cream or moisturizer, I repeat do brows FIRST then after your brows are done, go in for the rest of the skin care. If you think about it, we don’t need moisturizer in my brows 😂 lol sounds funny just having to say that. But your brow products are directly onto the skin/brows, no barrier. Then after I’m all done with my makeup, I lightly bake my brows with translucent powder (got that one from Huda). Just lightly dust powder in the brows, let it sit for literally 1 min, then brush it out. You can add a little touch up product if you got heavy handed with the powder (I’ve done it a few times) but just doing a tiny amount makes a HUGE difference. My brows were always the first to “melt” off. After I started this, AMAZING, they last SO long!
