- Filmed during a couple of trips on Leyland Leopard / Plaxton Supreme IV JIL2426 (BTL485X) at Dewsbury Bus Museum's August running day.
New to Marfleet's of Binbrook November 1981, then Wings of Sleaford and from Wings it went to Pennine of Gargrave
until 2009 when it entered preservation.
Owned since February 2013

They seemed such a powerful coach loved roar and gear change of them takes me back 1986
It's a lovely sound. Think the output was about 175bhp and 550lb-ft.....can anyone clarify this at all please ??
@@andypreston1524 - yes Andy it was either 168bhp at 2,000rpm or 175bhp at 2,200rpm. The torque at both outputs was 475 lb/ft at 1,300rpm. Hope this helps

I miss driving buses like these, stuck with modern ADL rubbish now!
Think yourself lucky we only have 8 ADLs most of our fleet is now Streetdecks

We only have deckers here so not had the misfortune of the E200

Hi yes the older buses were quite loud in comparison to modern ones
you sure about that? mind the Leopard has got the option of stopping at junctions facing forward
is that a semi auto gearbox ?
Yes the air version of the semi auto
How utterly modern in your fleet, power steering..You couldn't drive the LH like that LOL
