This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! You made it so simple to follow and I loved that you showed how to sew the bias neckline. Can't wait to make one of my own!
Thank you! I’ve been searching everywhere for something like this! Do you think this pattern can be used for men and if so, is 2 yards enough or should I double?
I see. In that case, what you can do is mark your sewing allowance onto the fabric around that area and use that as your guide....it should not pull together. And snip around the curve area once finished

Would I be able to make the sleeves longer?

Lovely! Please how many yards did you use?
@@MadeByDeola Thanks, Ma'am.
You're welcome
Love this! Thanks for the video. My son in law wants one. I have to find the perfect fabric- not too thin, not too bulky or stiff.
You're welcome 😊 hope you find the right fabric
You’ve given me the confidence to make what I’ve wanted for years! So easy to follow!
What type of fabric do you recommend?
Cotton is always a good idea. Easy to sew with 😊
Thank you so much for this tutorial, it's easy to understand and follow. Exactly what I was looking for.
You're welcome 🙌🏾

Awww, you are welcome 🤗💕

You are welcome 🙂. Thanks for watching
Does shoulder as slant make it fit better
Maybe for a more structured outfit but not for this style
Wow...Nice tutorial very easy to understand...Thanks for sharing...l just subscribe to your channel
Thank you and welcome to the channel 😄
Would you mind sharing ur measurements so I know if I should use the same amount of yards as you? I’m 5’4 and a size small
I'm 5'8 and size 8
Awesome. Thank you.
You're welcome 😊
Beautiful! Is the fabric knit or woven? And how wide on the bolt 44",,60"? Thank you. Just the tutorial i am looking for.
It's 44 wide and I believe it's woven
Thanks 😊❤@@MadeByDeola
What kinds of fabric would you suggest for kaftans? I'm super into linen right now but idk if that would work.
Any fabric really, it just depends on the feel and look you're going for. I used cotton for this
Perfect!
Thank you 💕
Nice one. Pls how many yards did you use
Hi, I used around 3 yards
❤❤❤❤love it
Thank you 😊
Thank you! I’ve been searching everywhere for something like this! Do you think this pattern can be used for men and if so, is 2 yards enough or should I double?
If you're not doing full length, I think 2 should be enough but just to be safe yards
@@MadeByDeola I would like to do full length. I’m not sure how tall you are but the person I’d like to make is for is 5’9 and a little over 200lbs
3 yards will be enough as I only used 2 yards and I'm 5'8 tall
@@MadeByDeola thank you so much 😊
This is nice also for chilling. It could be dressed up or down! Thank you for this ❤
🙌🏾🙌🏾
Your Kaftan is beautiful. I am a larger (plus size woman). Should I get more material or is this kind of a one size fits all pattern?
I'm tempted to say it's a one size fits all but I'd recommend to use your measurements to be on the safe side ☺️
@@MadeByDeola Thank you.
Pls can you show how you stitched from the sides
Just pin the sides together and sew,... I'm not sure if this answers your question
@@MadeByDeola my cloth gets collected at the side in the curve it's not neat
I see. In that case, what you can do is mark your sewing allowance onto the fabric around that area and use that as your guide....it should not pull together. And snip around the curve area once finished
