    Does shoulder as slant make it fit better

      It's 44 wide and I believe it's woven

    What kinds of fabric would you suggest for kaftans? I'm super into linen right now but idk if that would work.

      Any fabric really, it just depends on the feel and look you're going for. I used cotton for this

    Thank you! I’ve been searching everywhere for something like this! Do you think this pattern can be used for men and if so, is 2 yards enough or should I double?

      If you're not doing full length, I think 2 should be enough but just to be safe yards

      @@MadeByDeola I would like to do full length. I’m not sure how tall you are but the person I’d like to make is for is 5’9 and a little over 200lbs

      3 yards will be enough as I only used 2 yards and I'm 5'8 tall

    Your Kaftan is beautiful. I am a larger (plus size woman). Should I get more material or is this kind of a one size fits all pattern?

      I'm tempted to say it's a one size fits all but I'd recommend to use your measurements to be on the safe side ☺️

      Just pin the sides together and sew,... I'm not sure if this answers your question

      @@MadeByDeola my cloth gets collected at the side in the curve it's not neat

      I see. In that case, what you can do is mark your sewing allowance onto the fabric around that area and use that as your guide....it should not pull together. And snip around the curve area once finished
