- OK WELL WHEN I DID THE WILWOOD BRAKE UPGRADE AND SOME SUSPENSION WORK I FINALLY INSTALLED THE PT/GT SPINDLES THAT INCREASE THE TURNING ANGLE AND WANTED TO DO A SIDE BY SIDE COMPARISON FOR AS EASY IT MAKES GETTING IN TO A PARKING SPACE NOW I THOUGHT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A BIGGER DIFFERENCE. I WAS NOT QUITE SURE HOW TO MEASURE THE DIFFERENCE BUT HOPEFULLY THIS WAY SHOWS IT.

Oh my god you’re in PA! I just moved to VA so now I’m 5hrs away. I just bought an 05 srt4 the other day and Since then I’ve come across a few of your videos. Hopefully one day I could come to you to for some work because I don’t think theres anyone near me who specializes in these cars
NC’s got many many srt4s and tuners in the clt area too!
If you want some crazy steering angle, look into using 90’s dodge shadow knuckles.

the many many times i had to do a 3 point turn around trying to make a u turn in traffic. those were the days.

Is this just from PT GT all years?
no not all pt will have them the gt will for sure and some others do randomly ive had n/a 02 pt had them but had the not as wide bearing
Love the videos man. One thing I love about the Neons is the grass roots style of mods. Even on my first gen they were a blast.
It’s definitely a fun car to mod everything you do makes the car just a little bit better.

Do any PT Cruiser spindles work or is there a specific part number from the PT Cruiser models that we have to look for?
Not all PT knuckles work. The Ackerman front knuckles that you will need are as follows.

@@rickspearman344 if I remember correctly it’s like 01 and maybe 02 manual trans PT’s. Very hard to find.
