It ain't just for noobs, Google's helpful content update affects everyone including the so-called experienced ones. This actually gives you a 1up over them though because they think they already know when in fact they're still using old tactics.
Super useful, Have you always been this genious? You give me hope, I deal with dozens of clients and work for an agency and I feel I miss the 80/20 all the time....thank you so much!
The problem with googles ideas around content such as "having a unique piece of content" on the web is, it creates search results where it rewards information which is wrong. For example, someone could write, "it is possible to sterilize soil with hydrochloric acid", google says "wow fresh new perspective, such wow have a top 5 position". Now you have people destroying there soil and possible burning themselves. In places where expertise are needed they are rewarding people for BAD information.
I've been binging your videos, I like the format and no fluff approach. Do you have any suggestions which SEO youtube channels are legit and worth listening to?
@@SEOtruths I used RankMath to do FAQ schema blocks on about 200 pages. I was also using Frase. Started back in the summer of 2022 and the site lost 70% of the traffic in Dec 2022. Traffic chart looks like a content penalty from your video.
Great content, Webmasters need to know what SEO is about and how much work is involved. I would however like to add I prefer the term search intent over user intent. Because user intent is intangible an algorithm can not really determine the intent of a user. We can say somebody who is searching from a smartphone intends to read a page that is well-designed for a mobile device, but maybe they are looking for specific content and it is not designed for a smartphone? Factual information, not local businesses? Google's search intent on a smartphone is to filter away the pages that are not well designed for mobile; Google's search intent is to provide a good experience for people using smartphones. Understandable and something that webmasters need to address to be included in Google's smartphone results. But it is not user intent, it is Google's experience intent. The distinction is that we are focused on a mathematical algo not the actual known intent of the searcher themselves.
I have emojis on my titles and not all of them show especially if the post has been indexed before... You will have to try and re-indexed the pages manually using the Google API works magic for me
Images matter for the user though, people will click off when they see a wall of text that is an obvious SEO article. User experience (time on page) is a huge factor in the rankings after HCU!
Hey! can you give a rough idea that website like yours (definition niche) perform in terms of revenue. Like how many page views you need to make a grad. Apparently the niche isn't lucrative at all.
Hope you can do something regarding google my business I do this service for my clients in Mexico, several of them don´t have websites nor want to invest in one, love the content already told my team mates to bing your videos as is full of gold nuggets.
Depends on the keywords and what’s going on within that keyword realm. But, certainly a lot of short and authoritative content is doing well right now.
I was searching for helpful content videos for many days; couldn't find a straightforward one. Finally found one!
This is a helpful content update
Please make a video that covers all the things we need to know about content strategy!
It's a no brainer, I just hit like before even watching the video now😼
Thanks for helping all us noobs and dumbing things down and explaining things so NORMAL people can understand!

You're a disruptor, love it! 👌It's about time someone pulled those fake mf's into line. Keep it up. You're the man!
Should you also include 'Super Unique' in the intro part?
Get ready for half a dozen channels to publish a similar video tomorrow. 😂
I'm on it, son. You bet your ass I am.
Waiting for your video is more worthy than watching Julian Goldi or Diamond Videos 😂
What you're sharing is awesome, thanks 😊
Would like to see more premium content. Will pay
I had created a website 2 months ago and it started getting traffic... Traffic has gone down since then - 0 impressions 0 Click What should I do now?
Great video, keep it up buddy.
Thanks 🌟
You’re back. Thank you ❤
do you advise removing FAQ sections on pages as you are updating content to correct a traffic loss from an HCU update
Good question! It depends. Look at your other headlines. If they are question headlines then yes. If not then it’s potentially ok.

@@hubertmiles1673 yep. Gotta undo that.
@@hubertmiles1673 but do you know for sure it's because of FAQ sections and schema?
@@archiee1337 no and I don’t think anyone knows for sure what is going on which makes it hard to do anything worthwhile on their sites.
