    I saw someone else trashing this case for no reason. Honestly? It's pretty good for the money and i would love to have this or the T60 for an itx build.

    if theres a bulge cos the height clearance, because of how the panels is you can buy magnets that gives enough clearance between the panel and cooler or gpu and itll also be easier to take off and on just make sure the magnets arent too strong

    The standoffs are for to thick gpus or to tall cpu collers. You can put them in the side panel mounting holes. It makes the case 3 to 4 milimeters thicker. It is mantioned on the pictures on aliexpress for the t40 for example, if you take a closer look. :) I think it is not so stupid. You can fit taler collers and it propobly makes for a little more airflow. Ofcourse if you dont minde the gaps around the panels. Would be interesting to se how it looks.

      Thanks for the clarification!
      I’ll post a pic in the community page before I dismantle the build, it is applicable to me as I used a taller cooler and just let it bulge. This will look better imho, rather than a curved bulge.

    • @manongunboxing
      @manongunboxing  7 месяцев назад

      I tried it just now, but unfortunately the standoffs can't fit to the side panel holes, and the side panel screws can't fit to the standoffs

    edit: i install the fan from top case. correct me if i wrong

    This case is very tricky about GPU thickness. It's made for 4070 and below builds in the limit of GPU selection. The only 4080 class card that fits is the god of all ITX builders, the ASUS ProArt.

    I noticed that there seems to be a height limitation on the motherboard side of the case that there is noticeable bulging on the side panel

    • @manongunboxing
      @manongunboxing  2 месяца назад

      Yes, I purposely did that. Height is taller than the specs of the case

    Thanks for the build dude, I'm about to buy that case I have an Aorus X570i which is very similar to your motherboard I also have those HyperX Fury RAM, do you think the ID-COOLING IS-55 ARGB can be used on this T60? In the June 2023 video you mention some details.
    I would greatly appreciate your response so I can be sure and buy it with confidence.

    • @manongunboxing
      @manongunboxing  3 месяца назад

      If x570i has similar issues with my b550i to is-55 then you might need to orient is-55 with heat sinks extending beyond the motherboard’s top side. Since motherboard will be upside down with t60, then it will have issues there as there’s practically no clearance between the mobo’s top side and case’s bottom side. If you still want the same combo, maybe you can remove the mobo’s shroud area (not sure if doable but that’s one option). Or go to a more compatible cooler - axp90-x53.

    Hey,
    Max GPU length is 310mm or 300mm?
    Also, have you tried switching the nameplate with the power connector? is it doable? how much space does it clear for a taller GPU?
    Thanks!
    Love your reviews

    • @manongunboxing
      @manongunboxing  3 месяца назад +1

      hi,
      I guess I have to apologize first -- I checked the product page on where I bought it, it says 310mm but other sellers say it's 300mm. But it's an eye opener to test the given GPU length moving forward.
      As for power connector, yes it seems doable as it has screws and not riveted. Based on estimate, this is around 20mm but be careful of fan clearance though.
      Thanks as well for watching 🙂

    Warning! Buy a riser cable with adjustable height, the distance of the holes is ok but the holes are lowered about 4mm and the card does not enter the slot completely.

      Metalfish sells their own riser which is already compatible with their cases.

    Have you tested the GPU to see if it loses performance due to the riser cable?

    • @manongunboxing
      @manongunboxing  2 дня назад

      The answer is yes, I test that implicitly. I have the benchmark number without riser and I will flag it out (similar to metalfish g5 vid) if it goes way below FFXV benchmark numbers and it is caused by the riser. Do note however that in a single run, it will vary within +/- 2 fps which is within the margin of error. Pretty much unnoticeable imho.

    I've bought this case but with the mesh sides. While I'm waiting on it arriving, I'm planning my build but I'm confused. The case says it supports cpu radiator height 60mm but I looked up the Alpenfohn Black Ridge and it's only 47mm height yet you're struggling to fit it. I saw the comment about using the stand offs for more space but this seems quite a difference. Can you clarify please?

    • @manongunboxing
      @manongunboxing  5 месяцев назад +1

      The default blackridge cooler has a 92mm fan under the cooler. In this config called “compatibility” config, the height is indeed 47mm.
      However, I configured the cooler as the so-called “OC” mode. It only means that there is a 120mm fan mounted at the top. Usually, the height of the fan is 25m which will make the total height of the cooler at 72mm. Given that it won’t fit fo the case, I put in a slim fan (15mm height) instead, total height is 62mm. This can “fit with a bulge”.
      Hope this clarifies.
