One thing I love about reactors watching Naruto for the first time is how it changes my perspective on this story. I've watched Naruto so many times and since I was so young that there are thing that I simply view as "normal fun" but are absolutely f*ing hype for those who watch it for the first time - the Kyuubi transformations, Sasuke leaving the village, Gaara becoming Kazekage, Jiraya's death and, of course, Sasuke vs Itachi OUT OF NOWHERE lol
I think having to watch it week per week plus filler because 1 manga a week was like 7-10 minutes of anime 😩 so the slow pace definitely took away from some of the enjoyment. But yeah watching her reactions i got to notice that Naruto was clever not stupid, he lacked a lot of guidance and teachings. I saw Gaara differently as well and this really adds a lot of hype seeing someone experience all this.

I have seen characters that were that crazy to kill their family but Itachi really didn't strike me as one of them. Of course by the time you see this comment on RUclips you will be far enough along in the series to know exactly what Itachi was thinking!

Gotta love how much everyone acts like the finger swipe was such a flex on Sasuke, when we find out that both the brothers are essentially ‘sparring’ with genjutsu and entirely aware of the situation the whole time. It’s really cool to see two sharingan users fight like that.

Yo, imagine after Itachi told Sasuke to go to the hideout he was just like, "well, there's the main quest. Let's go do some side quests in the meantime," like it was Skyrim. Then Itachi's just sitting there like, "Where's Sasuke," while twiddling his thumbs. Then Sasuke comes back over leveled for the fight with new gear XD
Definitely peak moments. In the Naturo series it was a steady pace of amazing moments but sadly shippuden really drag out the first few arcs i wish they just put more filler arcs instead of filler in episodes. Would make rewatching the first 50 episodes easier when it should of probably been 20-30.
Good thing Flexxie is watching SpyxFamily concurrently for emotional healing and relief. Shippuuden and other shows she's watching are really bringing on the anxiety and pain.

The mangekyo sharingan itself has different abilities varying between users. In itachi’s case, as you saw he used tsukuyomi on little Sasuke to make him a vegetable in a way and another ability is Amaterasu which is black flames. You’re gonna see more of what it can do in future episodes. Can’t wait to see your reactions for that!

I came into naruto knowing no spoilers except that jiraiya died, so it didnt hit me as hard and I was pretty confident that he wasnt leaving the rain village alive so i spent the entire time he was there processing that he would likely die. Great character and I wish I didnt get spoiled because I'll never know what my genuine reaction would be. That being said, there are still plenty of times to scream in excitement and tears to shed while watching this show. You are now in what most consider to be the best portion of shippuden And you said you need revenge? Just keep that line you said in mind for the next 50 or so episodes lol thats very topical. Pain is my favorite antagonist in anime.
You don’t hate Pain because unlike most new watchers you’ve learned to give the story time to develop and understand the “why” aka backstory behind the “action”😂💯. If I’m not mistaken you made that mistake with Neji in OG Naruto or maybe that was another channel who hated Neji and didn’t give the story a chance to help you understand why he was like that!
