    What is one color you find a challenge to work with?

    Beautiful cards! You have inspired me to try using only white. That is the color I find challenging. I think it looks pretty and elegant, but when I do it, it seems plain. Thank you for another great video!

    I love your videos because you give us so many ideas on how to use a particular item or theme . I’ve never done the lattice with paper just with thin silky ribbon , and wow was that a pain in the but to do ! So slippery . I’ll have to try with paper now as it’s gotta be easier , especially the way you demonstrated with tacking it to your glass mat . I love it all in white , it looks so good . In fact all the cards are lovely . Thanks for your inspiration .

    I just did a bunch of all white cards too and i love them! So crisp and clean! You gave me some different good ideas here for any colour card with the paper weaving and the embossed embossing folder. I also loved that you used ribbon!!!!... (maybe that could be a future tutorial you do.... how to use all my ribbon!!!??!! 😂)
    Lovely cards!! Happy mother's day!

    Such terrific and unique ideas, TY!! Saved this video for when my craft room gets put back together, definitely want to try these. We just moved… what a process after 30 years!!🤪. But my new room will have more space and great natural light! Loved the embossed card best, but others a very close second!! 🧑🏼‍🎨😀👏🏻👏🏻💗

      Sounds like an exciting yet exhausting thing to move after 30 years! I can’t imagine. I’m excited for you to get it back together so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor! ❤️

      Remember to use the wall space. Shelving and bookcases save floor space. I have those cube storage shelves on my work bench, then little shoebox sized baskets or totes on each of the 6 shelves. 15 feet of workbench is not an option for most people.

      @@ButtercupAndFernHomestead Terrific ideas, TY so much! Definitely using wall space this room, cubes with sturdy baskets and an over the door shoe organizer for my punches…I think that will keep them handy and therefore used more! Happy creating!!🧑🏼‍🎨😀

    In case it helps anyone, when I have something as slender as the sentiments and it is hard to keep correctly in the trimmer, I just add a ‘post it’ note to the side and use that to manoeuvre in place and it keeps it there whilst I trim… I am a recent subscriber from the UK and really enjoy your content.

      I saw the flaw on the right of the weave card. I would have put the flowers on the right to hide that, and although it was "colour play" I would not have used the different coloured flowers. But that's what I love about you. Embrace it. Encourage us that it's handmade it. It doesn't have to be perfect. ❤

    Ive never tried tezture paste, but this white on white may have just convinced me. Ill have to look for some on my next trip to Michael's. Our Michaels here in Canada dont have much variety for paper crafting anymore.

    • @villagecardandcrafts
      @villagecardandcrafts  5 месяцев назад

      Michaels doesn’t have much here either. I can pretty much guarantee they don’t have texture paste /stencil butter. They can have many names. However, I can offer a way to make your own. This is still one of my go to techniques for when I want to make something unique to my project. It’s easy and products are readily available in the art section

    I hate the smell of cloud whip and won't use it. I make my own with corn starch and water.

    • @villagecardandcrafts
      @villagecardandcrafts  5 месяцев назад

      I’m not a fan of the odor or the texture either. It was a freebie, so I will use it. I’ve found that enough water dulls the smell. I make many of mine with gel gloss and ink or glitter or whatever else blows my dress up.
