I've also had that happen multiple times at estate sales, where they "set it aside" and then end up selling it someone else. One time there was a woman who sent her 7 year child over to me to try to grab the jewelry I had selected right out of my hand - couldn't believe it!

This was so fun to watch! Love your finds! Great tip on paying right away - I have had the same thing happen at estate sales where the person who is running it puts my jewelry aside and then another shopper comes up and picks up the jewelry they have aside for me. I also pay immediately to avoid it happening!
