- For this latest carp fishing episode we head to Suffolk Waterpark, with another versus challenge, this time experimenting with zig fishing baits to see if we could find out 'what is the ultimate zig fishing hookbait'. Would it be foam, or would it be a pop-up?

Cc moore min pop ups (8mm pop up) got a artificial ban on my local. Plus they are unflavoured so you can pimp them as you wish....deffo goo

How do you decide when to zig and when to stay on the bottom?
It depends on the conditions really and the lake you’re fishing. Carp can be caught on zigs all year round, sometimes Steve will mix it up and have rods on the bottom and then a rod fishing a zig, which he’ll then adjust every so often to explore the water column. Often you can find fish in a certain layer. 😊🎣
