Fix power on issue on the Roland SPD SX

In this video I show you how you can fix your Roland SPD SX, if yours has problems on turning on. Easy and quick fix. But only at your own risk. I am not responsible of any damaged device. Only do this if you have some knowledge of electronics and not afraid of opening an electrical device like this.

Hey y'all for what it's worth, my SX hasn't powered on in over 5 years. I finally just opened the damn thing up carefully. I DID NOT SOLDER anything. I just unplugged a couple of the conduit thingamajigs and plugged them back in. Made sure everything was plugged in right and put it back together and it powers on now! The things I unplugged were the white connectors with bunches of wires that the guy in the video says he's going to solder. I just unplugged the white housing and plugged it right back into the board.

I did exactly the same. And now is working. My SPD didn’t turn on with any tip from internet. I recommend do the same to anybody with the same problem. Not solder, just unplug and plug.
