  • This is a 10-person rice cooker castella. It tastes exactly the same as buying it. I really like castella, but I like it better when I make it like this.

    With paper cups, you can make it delicious without scale.
    Make sure you separate the yolks and whites of the eggs.
    It's hard to make meringue if you mix even a little yolk in the white.
    If the yolk explodes and enters the egg white during separation of the egg whites, start boldly again. It's good for your mental health. ^^
    I don't really have a lot of footage from a rice cooker for 10 people, so I made it.
    It's a lot. I liked it.
    -This is a 10-person electric rice cooker recipe.
    If it's a five-player rice cooker, you can put half of it in the recipe.-
    Material ▶ [Based on paper cup]
    1. 8 eggs
    2. 2 cups sugar (120g)
    3. 2 cups of flour (180g)
    4. 1/3 cup oil (40g)
    5. 1/3 cup milk (50g)
    Making rice cooker castella. -
    1) Separate the egg whites and yolks and remove the string.
    2) Add a cup of sugar to the egg yolk and whip until it is bright.
    3) Whip the egg white in a large ball, then add 1/3 cup of sugar when bubbles come up. When bubbles are abundant, whip half of sugar. Add remaining sugar and whip until it becomes a solid meringue. (Put 1 cup of sugar in egg whites 3 times.)
    4) When the meringue is made firm, put the whipped yolk in the meringue and mix it with a foam.
    5) When meringue and yolk are mixed well, strain 2 cups of flour into a sieve and mix them as if the foam is not going to die with a spatula.
    6) If you don't see any raw powder, add 1/3 cup oil and 1/3 cup milk and mix them quickly.
    7) When the castella dough is finished, add some oil to the rice cooker container and spread it all over the sides. (Apply oil to the container, the completed castella is separated from the rice cooker container and the shape is pretty.)
    8) Pour the dough into the rice cooker container.
    Turn it around for 45 minutes with the function of braised spicy foods, poke the castella with chopsticks, and if the dough gets on your chopsticks, heat it up for 20 to 30 minutes, and cool it down after 10 minutes (if the dough doesn't get on, take it out and cool it down).
    9) Cut a well-cold castella and enjoy it.
    Each rice cooker may have different performance, so please check and return it. It really tastes the same as the castella sold on the market. It's more moist, sweet, and delicious. If you want to eat a little less sweet, you can cut down on sugar.Like in the video, you can whip whipped cream and eat it together.~ -
