My heart goes out to you brother. Because you were born at the wrong time but have a true 70's spirit. I was fortunate growing up next door to Funk Legend Trombone player Greg Boyer. Who played with P-Funk for 23 straight years and Prince for 15 years until his sudden death. Boyer who performs with George anytime he calls. Also played with Stanley Clark and all the HIP-HOP legends back here in Washington D.C. I guess as a 17 year old I tried to be useful hanging out with all the band members. And ran errands after the gigs here in D.C. and Baltimore. I held my own in conversations with George, Bernie, Eddie, Gary, Bootsy, Mike, Glenn and others. But I was a babbling studdering idiot whenever Dawn Silva walked in the room. AND EVERYBODY enjoyed watching her turn me into jello. She was 22 at the time so I was jailbait. Dawn was really a momma's girl because she always called her mom after the show. We are both on IG now.
