- This is the casting and audition video that got me nearly an IMMEDIATE call from Survivor casting. I applied only ONE TIME- I sent in my casting video on a Friday night before leaving for a date, and had an email and call from Survivor casting my Monday morning! Within only FIVE MONTHS of sending in my casting video, I got the official word that I'd be on the cast of Survivor 45 -- ONE OF THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE!
Yes, the video is a bit cringe at some points, but hey, if you want it bad enough, you go all in! (AND I DID WANT IT BADLY!)

The initial video I sent in was the first 3 mins of this video (before I show myself at my office)- I think 3 mins is the max. And this whole video was recorded on my Iphone !
@@katurahtopps thanks! So i recorded on my iPhone and edited on my iPhone with iMovie app that happened to be in my phone. Then i filled out the whole questionnaire and hit to send the video and it said it was too large! I was less than 2 minutes. Didn’t want to lose my answers to my questionnaire, so I quickly did a shorter ending and splice it together. So it was more rushed and i don’t know why it was considered too large. Oh well, hopefully I figure it out. Also, I am 67 years old, almost 68, so I would be the oldest woman contestant on Survivor. There’s been plenty of men over 65, but not one woman 🤷🏻♀️

actually my ex-gf edited it for me haha, but I'm sure she used CapCut and imovie only.
