Great looking bags. Progressive springs are great. I rode for 30 years before I swapped out my Beemer's factory springs and was amazed. Do not wait folks; best upgrade ever, if you have never done it, do it now!

Head on down to Winkelspruit on the South Coast, stick to the coastal roads, the N2 highway is boring. Swing right to Umbumbulu, just watch the cane trucks. Turn left at Mid-Illovo (cane farm country) and head towards Richmond, where all the tea farms are, it's beautiful country there, some dirts roads if you go exploring. Afterwards, Kokstad, and then you can pick a road to anywhere in the country.

I concur with your elation from the new suspension. It has been decades since I last rode, but of all the tricks I did to my bike ( and there were many) the suspension upgrades made the most difference. Could keep full power on with no wheel hop or other undesirable behavior.

I stayed in Durban for a month in 1972, right on the beach in a decent hotel for about 50 Rand per week. That included 3 full meals plus 2 teas that were meals in themselves. It was fantastic. Sport fishermen casting off the harbour breakwater would routinely catch 100 kg sharks every day. I recall going out to a whaling station where I watched them winch dead whales up a cement ramp, with Great white sharks hanging off the dead whales. The flensing crews would poke the sharks until they let go and flopped back into the sea.

Kinga, I love it that you talk to the flowers and the animals, I used to do the same thing when I travel on my motorcycle; I think it is a respect thing. So I know you ride with mostly off-road tires, do you deflate them at all depending upon the road? It is beautiful what you do, your zest, and passion for life is always one of your strong points; PS where do you come up with these roads, I’m glad there wasn’t a lot of traffic. Enjoy life

I lived in a residential hotel in Ansteys Beach for 3 years in the 80's while I was studying in Durban, loved every minute of it.

I've changed my rear shock in Jordan but I don't know why I didn't change my front springs then 🙈

Yes! It's a massive difference. It's so much easier to control my bike with the new suspension.

I've been sold on Progressive Suspension upgrades for years. Definitely worth the expense.

Hey, yes I deflate my tires a bit on rough roads and a lot on sand. For fast gravels I leave normal pressure.
