And many thanks and appreciation to the extremely kind gentleman (knight of the road) who assisted you to lift your heavy bike to enable you to succeed in your goal. Also excellent video, congratulations and well done to you.
The epic drop down photo was perfect. "On the dirt " achievement unlocked. You remind me of Ryan F9 's quote: "a good motorcycle is a sign of a good rider, but a beat up motorcycle is the sign of a great rider", and it suits you perfectly, Kinga. Way to go, tough lady.
Watched this video again. Well impressed with how you handle yourself when Chili went down. Total respect and hats off to you for a tough, steep ride. And awesome scenery.
Get it up: I recommend an simple foldable air bag, placed under the bike, filled by exhaust gas to get it up in an angle, so you can do the rest! They use it to lift cars and even airliners.
Wow~~~ Road repair work, unpaved soil, the natural scenery of the remote area. It's so fantastic. It's a great video. It's an honor to be your channel's friend. From Woongkham, a South Korean RUclipsr. 🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍🤙👌
Well done Kinga, that was a tough ride. I was on the edge of my chair the whole time. Just subscribed to your channel, a REAL biker. Long my you stay safe but enjoy every moment. Remember, it's not the destination that counts, it's the enjoyment of the travel inbetween. From an oldtimer biker with 45 years in the saddle.
Huge respect for you doing Sani on a bike. I'm a long distance bike rider too and appreciate just how tough that ride was for you. I did it using a 4 x 4 in 2016 and I remember every twist, turn and hairpin corner. Your video evokes so many great memories of my trip (up) to Lusotho.
Amazing to watch. Somewhat eclipsed by the local who has just been down the pass by foot and is now on his way back up again carrying a full load of firewood on his back!
Excellent video of the ride and just how difficult it must have been. Glad you showed the drop, and even more happy that someone was able to help you get it upright.
So I've watched several of your videos over the past couple of years but never subscribed. This one popped up today and after watching it I realized how much your videos match up with my tastes. You combine just the right mix of riding and mingling it up with the locals. Throw in your splendid personality and I've found myself binging starting with Episode 1 in Korea! Subscribed! Just finished Mongolia!
Wow I know how it feels ridding alone on bad road condition, you just don't want to drop. You just got to keep going even when it leads you out of your line. You just have to make do with what's ahead and just ride trough. Good on you Kinga, your attitude towards being a ridder makes your journey archivable. Otherwise you may have head for home. I wish to be able to just ride my bike to nowhere land and see what's ahead. When the way gets tough the view ahead will be rewording.
Kinga, genial!!! Que buen viaje, los paisajes increíbles. Gran experiencia en moto. Felicitaciones, lo hicistes!!! 💪👍👏👏👏👏👏👏 From Buenos Aires Argentina ❤️😘
Nice. Did this pass in a 4x4 in July, read Winter, with snowfall in the night. Complete chaos. Arrived at the bar on the top in 5 below, and 50 cm. of snow. Still loved it.
Well done I drove up and down 20 years ago in a 4x4 they seem to have fixed the road a bit since then there were no stone walls or pipes under the road leading water away but to have done it on your bike is a massive achievment
Kinga, you did an amazing job of job of conquering that very dangerous road. Hazards on both sides . Great video and glad you made it safely. Stay well wherever you are. Cheers, 😀👍🇨🇦
@@onherbike agreed. The clutch is pivotal for control, grip n balance and serves its purpose as a disposable item. Your African adventures have been most entertaining. Are you back in Aus or are you off to new places again??
They are busy prepping for tarring SANI, that's why its flat easy riding, it's not rain, its water trucks wetting the roads. Momentum is important and you need to pick your lines carefully, Sani is very Similar to Breedts Neck here in SA, except Breedts is shorter
The toughest road from Soth Africa into Lesotho. Congratulations on making it to the top! Ride safe and I hope you had a nice cold beer when you got to the pub!
Nice ride. If I could offer a bit of advice, I noticed you stopped 4 or 5 times on steep sections, which can lead to the bike falling. There is always a "flat spot" somewhere, even if just a short section, so wait until you get to those spots. I agree with the below comment about "when in doubt, give more throttle." Also, when the bike does fall over, be sure you give tug on the back wheel to ensure it is locked by the gears. You don't want to stand the bike up and have it roll on you. I've ridden since age 12 (now 69) and we all learn the hard way. Anyway, be safe and enjoy the rides. Take care, Wayne in Denver, CO
Geee Kinga, what a huge effort. Some of the things you have done on this journey has been incredible. You need to put your hand over your head & give yourself a pat on the back & scream out "We did it Chilly" ....
Great achievement! Very nice that the gentleman appeared at the right time to help you with your bike. You’re a genuine person and a great rider! Ride safe!
@@onherbike .... I finally subbed your channel! Have watched a lot of your videos. But just now subscribed. Thanks again for all you great content. Ride safe!
That was fun....I was thinking how awesome the roads and scenery were and then I saw the one part where you are waiting for the vehicles to come down and you see how steep it is....wow. 😊 Nice to see you adventuring again! 😎
Well done Kinga !! That was probably the toughest pass that you have ever ridden on in all your travels. Stunning scenery and video work. You deserve a Gold Medal !! Have fun. Keep safe.
When I first drove down the Sani Pass some years ago, I was told to watch out for the taxis coming up the pass. I thought my friend was joking but , Sure enough, Toyota made a 4x4 Hiace which is used to ferry the local people up and down. Just keep out of their way.
Thanks Kinga for brilliant ride thru mountains.Your handle bar was turned to the incline when you took off.I've done the same thing.Being tired after such a hazardous ride doesn't help.Standing up to take the rugged track is exhausting.
i just realize so many solo riders video on youtube 2- 3 month old or is just coincidence .how people manage leave the work and find time and savings to go travel else where, share the story please!
Nice going! I would definitely rather engage the front brake while picking the back back up, rolling it up on the front wheel... and ensure it's still in gear too ... Glad you had someone to help!
I love the fact that the sign said 4x4's only, and later on, here comes a Toyota mini bus (taxi) driving down the slope.
Awesome job & I just love the way the universe looks after good people & someone always turns up just when you need a hand.
Only places off the beaten track have such beautiful scenery
And many thanks and appreciation to the extremely kind gentleman (knight of the road) who assisted you to lift your heavy bike to enable you to succeed in your goal.

One of the most difficult roeads in Africa - you have mastered it very well.
Respect Kinga and thanks for the very nice video.
Wow, Kinga you're incredible! huge kudos to you for taking such a difficult road AND by yourself to boot. Spectacular.
Thanks Ron 😊
Had me leaning over in my chair trying to help you round some of those bends!
Massive respect Kings, I love the way you surprised the driver that you had got that far

What an awesome video, one of the best I've watched in a long time. I was nervous just watching it and I'm sitting on a sofa !

Great riding, the camera hides the steepness of the incline, especially on the last few corners, a very challenging ride, well executed.
Thank you 😊
Chapeau!
That feeling when you reach the top is a wonderful relief. It feels like the road is never ending. Much respect for you! Well done!!
Fantastic video, that was one tough road to ride on your own, well done and keep singing.
Don’t get so close to the edge! Jeeesh, giving me a heart attack 😳
You may not be the best signing rider I've heard but you are surely the bravest rider I've seen. Congrats on an epic crossing!
You are incredible! What an inspiration. I was nervous just watching, my hands are sore from gripping imaginary handlebars!
Thanks😆

Amazing! You are such a strong advocate for bikes and females on bikes! Love to see it.
I couldn't get up there in a Renault 4x4 when I visited ... So Kudos to you 👏👏👏
WOW, I have never seen this pass so busy with traffic, well done Kinga 😀
Great adventure very, extremely, on dangerous mountain road, very beautiful nature and your have nice trip.! 👏🏼👍🏼💪🏼🥂🍾💐💐💐💐🤩😍
Love the hiace taxi coming down the supposed 4 wheel drive track!
Hello Brian they have 4x4 taxis and they fly up and down
Those taxis all have four wheel drive. However, it's even more important to have good ground clearance and low range, which almost none of them have.
My old stomping grounds 😃 I used to go ride in Lesotho about once a month for about 20 years, some of the best off-road riding in the world IMHO.

Well done, glad you did it in summer, in winter all those wet bits are iced up, and can have enough snow to make it more of a nightmare
That landscape looks primeval, like it rose out of the sea billions of years ago.
thumbs up and respect young lady ! if I where 20 years younger I would of thought of it !!
Saying it was a tough challenge is to diminuish it! My deepest respect!
