E-Commerce stands for Electronic Commerce & is a process through which an individual can buy, sell, deal, order & pay for the goods and services over the internet.
Categories of E-Commerce:=
1) B2B :- B2B stands for Business to Business E-Commerce. It is the business in which two firms or two business units make electronic transaction.
2) B2C :- B2C stands for Business to Consumer E-Commerce. In this business activity the one party is firm & other is consumer.
3) C2B :- C2B stands for Consumer to Business E-Commerce. It is the business in which a consumer create value & business consume that value.
4) C2C :- C2C stands for Consumer to Consumer E-Commerce. It is that business activity in which both the parties involved in electronic transaction are customers
5) B2G :- B2G stands for Business to Government E-Commerce. It is a business model in which an organization sales products or give information to government or government agencies.
As we have understood the meaning of E-Commerce, we can easily distinguish between Traditional commerce & E-Commerce.
