I'm a sucker for coaster stations, Leviathan has raised the bar!!! 👌
Too bad that the station looks like an ugly industrial box from the outside
I love how Sarah rode Outback Leviathan before Tim Horton’s Leviathan 😂😂
Kinda backwards isn’t it? Lol
@@CoasterStudios Seems to be a bit of a trend lmao.
@@CoasterStudios Sarah better do Gold Reef City before Silver Dollar City. We're counting on this backwards trend continuing.
Leviathan is so fun, and that station is glorious! Nice to hear Wizard of Oz at Movie World may get something similar 😁 Jet Rescue is an amazing hidden gem. and that Carnivale show was indeed great! Much better than previous years.
Glad you guys enjoyed the Gold Coast and our parks!
As an Aussie, SO proud of the work Gravity Group and Sea World did on Leviathan
“30 centimeters 🥺 I don’t even know what that means” that part killed me
Standard school ruler length
you should do a ranking of every roller coaster you rode in Australia. That would be so hype! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
hi mango
did not expect you here
@@zcoastertheobbiest65 wassup gang
The Leviathan animation in the station is giving me so many Smaug from The Hobbit vibes
totally!
So happy to see Gravity Group still killing it. They get a bit overlooked, imo, with RMC and GCI making all the noise they do, but I've always personally preferred GG coasters.
Loved the animal section at the beginning, sometimes its not all about coasters, awesome guys!
correction about the log flume, it closed in 2016 after the Thunder River Rapids accident as it was also an in-house attraction that was getting on in years and they didn’t want the risk, the Bermuda Triangle closed in 2010.
Also, Leviathan is on one train due to the second train having issues when the ride first opened which made the ride very unreliable, so it’s on one train while they fix the other one
Bermuda triangle was my favourite seaworld ride. Also a bit silly for seaworld to close the log flume when the river rapids ride incident was proven to have been caused by park negligence
wow I can't believe Sea Space World got Smaug from The Hobbit to play the leviathan in the station!
I actually went to Sea (space) World yesterday and ride Leviathan! The theming in the station is unbelievable and the pacing killed! I really hope they look after it because it is awesome!
I’ve been watching coaster studios for 4 years now, so happy to be a fan and so happy for Taylor and Sarah both!
This trip has been so good! I am really considering going to Australia after this! You should definitely do a funniest moments episode because there have been a lot of hilarious moments (the guy watching your video in line, the Wiggles door at Dreamworld and the Ibis taking the chicken tender it's been really entertaining!
Coasting down ‘under the sea’ world vlog.
I amuse myself
My favourite park. This is so special. Glad you liked it!
Great video! I loved all the aquatic animals at this park! Very nice park!
Leviathans queue and station is so dope. Active theming like that is so awesome.
this is one of my favorite vlogs ever because so much was going on all of the time
for a 35 minute vlog that is really REALLY impressive!
5:29 I’m not sure if it’s better but don’t forget about wickerman at Alton towers!
The Mack water coaster looks really cool, especially with all that theming. You have also encouraged me to watch a POV of the log flume. I've always heard Jet Rescue is the best one there is
Wow!! This Sea World makes ours look like carnival’s!! Absolutely AMAZING!! Thanks for the great content!!
Oh here we go. Leviathan is the best coaster in Australia. I also never expected that, but here we are. Few more weeks then I'm back there thankfully for more rerides!
Immediately thought of you when they said that. Must’ve made your heart glow a bit. 😆
@@StamfordBridge nah dc rivals is better I’ve been on both
I am glad that you guys had a good time
If SeaWorld Entertainment wants to expand internationally after the UAE park, they should buy this park. It would end years of confusion among us Americans.
There wont be a UAE park. Just like there wont be a six flags park there. Keep dreaming. So many proposed projects there never happen
@@davedoesthingsdreaded they’re already under construction, including the rides
there’s one in Japan too, with orcas as well 😂
@@No-nu8zx That’s named Sea World?
@@southeasternthrills it’s called Kamogawa Sea World Japan but it’s an aquarium not a theme park. No rides, no roller coasters, just exhibits of killer whales and dolphins. They do have a dolphin show and a killer whale show but those are the main attractions. They also have other sea animals in the aquarium
Now you have to do top 10 stations 😅😂❤
OMG, its so cool seeing you guys in my home city, love the content, keep up the great adventures!❤
great video, i love SeaWorld so much
I will say Sea World's investment really is the best with Leviathan and I really do love to go back there! My last visit to Sea World was late 2019 and at the time the park was a ghost town in the morning and the Storm coaster was a walk on with literally no one there! I ended up having a boat to myself, lol!
Looking forward to the episode of Luna Park Sydney, I live about 20km (12 miles) away from there and I used to walk by seeing the construction of the new rides a few times!
Jet Rescue looks to be absolutely hauling there, it looks to be more intense than Wave Breaker.
Taylor, just a heads up - Sony (and most other) cameras have a setting where you can change the native hz. In the US it's 60hz, Australia and many other countries - 50hz. If you change this setting accordingly, as long as your shutter speed isn't above the 1:2/FR:SS rule (30fps with 1/60 SS, 60fps with 1/120 SS, etc), it shouldn't cause flashing or flickering like it did with the Leviathan screens. Anyway, great video!
We had our shutter adjusted for that and it still showed the flickering. Believe us, we tried all sorts of stuff. It was really bizarre
@@CoasterStudios who knows what kind of tech they're using, could be be anything for a station of that magnitude. Awesome stuff, loving these trip series!
The operations definitely need to be improved on this ride, but it definitely is the best coaster in Aus with no dead spots! Great meeting you there and thankyou for the wristband!
idk if anyone has said this yet, but I love the theme music u guys chose for "Coastin Down Under".
This GG trains are literally like the best trains ever! It’s like a lay-z-boy on a roller coaster! Ntm the pacing!
This is my favorite park you've been to in Australia so far
Looks like a really nice park with great theming!
That polar bear did an amazing Karen impression.
Looks long and narrow like Legoland FL.
So cool to meet an EltoroRyan fan in the wild!
Okay I’m about to blow Taylor’s mind, Great Whites live in basically any ocean. Including where he lives down in Florida……
Leviathan is a great ride apart from a few moments - sudden jolts - I trust they’ll be able to smooth out on its inaugural annual maintenance.
It reminds me a little bit of Boardwalk bullet 🎉🎉
That’s the US ride I would most closely compare it to!
I agree that levi is the best coaster in Australian.
Dragon Challenge queue was dope, RIP
What in the Universal theming?
Funny that I’m watching this while on my break at SeaWorld
I am patiently waiting for the Big Dipper review!!!!!!!
The birds in the food court have been doing that since I was a baby, I’m 22 now 😂😂
There's no way that station is actually that well themed on Leviathan. This competes with actually SeaWorld parks with that themeing.
Everything about leviathan 😍 the queue, station, train, layout, so good 🔥
There are Great White sharks in the Atlantic off the coast of Florida. One just washed up on a beach in South Carolina the other day. There are apps and websites where you can track them.
You guys going to ride Toutatis this year??
Not sure if an exact clone would work, but a Mack Water Coaster slightly longer than Storm Coaster would be a great fit for Carowinds. After adding 3 large thrill coasters, they're definitely due for a larger family coaster. And they could use a family water coaster with better capacity and reliability than Flying Super Saturator. Hopefully this is built on the Dinos Alive site for 2026.
Love the videos also who else thinks that the music they use sounds like the Thorpe park theme?(First used at 2:06)
It does sound similar🫢
@@danielward4868 It sounds like a remix or a mash of different parks music and it works well.
Mystic Timber vs. Leviathan?? I’m dying to know
Sorry you didn't get a happy ending. 😭
At least the rest of the day was tip-top though. 👌🏻
Well the station for Emperor in San Diego is top tier
Is there any like cedar fair or six flags park in the U.S. u haven’t been to
Frontier City and Gilroy Gardens
I hear they have really fresh seafood there.
Love the knock off hall & Oates during the sea lion show
Will you put a POV out for storm coaster?
my max in a day no skip the line pass was 12 rides on it.
Omg that's my friend lmao at 14:10
Would you compare the nonstop pacing of Leviathan to something like Voyage??
I think that’s fair- voyage is just considerably longer is all
@@CoasterStudios thanks for confirming that! 😎
I don’t understand. If you booked a room at that original hotel and they didn’t have it for you because of an overbooking they admitted to, wasn’t it on that hotel to find you alternative lodgings???
You would think… but no. They recommended a place for us and then when we got there they said they were full.
@@CoasterStudios Extremely frustrating.
19:30 30cm is around 1 ft
Yeah I would have just bought a tent and slept on the beach! Wait…. Maybe not In Australia!
Alright, now you have to bring Sarah to Canada's Wonderland so that we can have a Leviathan Vs Leviathan video! Also, can I ask why Sarah's shirt kept changing between every cut in the first half of the video?
fun fact : there’s a seaworld in japan too, with orcas
Side note: Screen-flicker goes away if you adjust the framerate of the recording (in the camera, not in post)
Wasn’t Storm a clone of Skatteøen at Djurs Sommerland? Love your videos btw!
I believe Skatteøen had a longer pre lift section to accommodate for theming , but the actual “roller coaster section” might’ve been the same!
@@CoasterStudios Nah from what I can tell its an exact clone in the full layout. But its by no means a bad watercoaster layout. But I do think its funny how they both have exactly identical water coasters, and powerful straddle coasters. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if management from the 2 checked out eachother, so like Djurs management went to Sea World and rode Jet Rescue and went "We want that but bigger" and got Juvelen, while Djurs got Skatteøen with Sea world management going "We want one of those too".
Who knows if this trend continues we might see a Gravity Group coaster at Djurs Sommerland. I'd love to see that happen ngl, that park deserves a good wooden coaster. Especially if they can fit an inversion in.
@@drdewott9154 Djurs Sommerland also has a Jungle boat ride (by Mack). Sea World was planning to include a Jungle themed river ride after Storm Coaster opened, but it got cancelled. Part of me wonders if it was a similar ride and they were planning a "two for one" deal with Mack.
top ten stations video is a great idea!!!!
I got a seaworld orlando RUclips add lmao
What channel will the Australia zoo video be on?
It is already available for viewing for those at the $5 level or higher on patreon.com/coasterstudios
Sarah didn’t sea the space 😂
The us seaworld stratlecoasters are made to be family attractions
They could speed them up
This is not USA sea world. This park looks so well taken care of.
Yeah like they said, this park is run by an entirely different company, Village Roadshow parks. Village Roadshow itself is a big corporation mostly known for their movie studios where they have produced many movies, mostly in collaboration with Warner Bros. but also Columbia Pictures and Paramount Pictures. Chances are if you've seen some blockbusters in the last 30 years, you've seen their name pop up several times.
we call everything chipish chips. fries and crips are just chips
10:55 you mean chips?
My favorite vids! I had no clue they weren’t affiliated with SeaWorld that’s so weird 😂
Not really. One is SeaWorld the other is Sea World
Oh god.. i can imagine the two of you coming home and mom asks "how was Australia?" And the first response is "that damn Ed Sheeran screwed us over!"
9:31 ayo
33:34 I know I’m going to sound like one of those narcissistic Americans, but both of you should’ve sued the hotel that you initially booked that gave your room away as it it completely outrageous and someone coming to see a popular artist is no more important than traveling there. You already booked your room and it’s unfair that they give it away to someone else just due to how they want to see Ed Sheeran.
Oh it was definitely ridiculous. They did have availability for the next night and gave us a free room for the next day which was nice, but we still had to go find somewhere else for that night.
That pengiun-enclosure is kinda sad. NO daylight, barely landscaping, steel grate floors....
Me: I want finding nemo!
Mom: we have finding nemo at home
Finding nemo at home: 20:56
Taylor, you sound down in this video, man. Everything alright?
Everything was great! Maybe I was just tired? Not sure!
@@CoasterStudios perhaps they only watched the ending disappointment of the hotel mixup? I thought the opposite really, you both looked so happy at Seaworld, even more so than usual, especially when the carnivale kicked in. Sounding down would be travelling to the other side of the world and a rainbow coaster (cork)screws you.
Canobie coaster beat ya to reviews!!
It’s not a race🤷🏼♂️
@@CoasterStudios I was just joking mate haha
I think 2 people must have been hit in the head by the kangaroos on that nature walk. Leviathan is the one coaster they would ride in Australia... I don't know about that. It really appears that both locations put a lot of weight into theming. Superman with that pre-show & Leviathan's does look really good. The dragon quality made me feel like it was influenced by SMAUG from the hobbit movies. But from a coaster experience, I really think DC Rivals would be tough to beat. To me it looks to be on par with Expedition GeForce. Both have incredible drops, some great moments during the ride. Neither ride is perfect but I would expect both would be Top 25 roller coasters on most people's list. I feel like Leviathan is more like Top 100 coaster, maybe top 50 worthy. That's just my take. Great video as always! Keep up the Good Work!
Haha I was hoping you'd comment. I know it's hard to believe that Leviathan is better than DC Rivals but here we have it. Canobie Coaster will probably give it a 8.5/10 now to confuse us all.
@@Marty_NZ It is pretty clear in my mind which I think will be the better roller coaster. Leviathan has the better station and train design. I will give you that. It looks solid. Top 3 for sure in Australia. If it rides like Boardwalk Bullet, I think he gives it over an 8.5. That's my guess.
@@Marty_NZ hype is real for Arie Force One. Drop is weakest major element. Raven trust dive was better than I expected going in. Stall was wonderful. Outter bank is incredible. Third inversion rivals the final roll on velocicoaster, but I think I prefer the one on velocicoaster for its setting. The pacing between the 3rd and 4th inversion is nuts. One change I think I would make is one less hill coming in. The hills weren’t the biggest issue but the final thrust forward when it hits the break run. It has so much speed going into the stop. The thrust forward is a bit much. I compare it to riding old school lightning Rod but I prefer Lightning Rod’s setting. Boarder line top 5 coaster in the US for me. Truly outstanding
@@alantrotter2077 That seems to line up with what I've heard so far. I can't see it not being a top 10 coaster for me. I'm too much of an RMC fanboy, so I'm sure i'll have to drop an Intamin one spot somewhere. Where are you off to next? I heard your Lightning Rod is broken down again. Might have to add Dollywood to my trip for a revisit as Big Bear Mountain looks pretty cool for a family ride. Maybe Lightning Rod is back open by then and running better than my previous visit.
@@Marty_NZ They shut down Lightning Rod to remove the single rider line. So when you went up to the second level you had three lanes. Far left was main queue, far right was their fast lane, Middle was single rider. Rumor has it they removed that middle lane. I believe their was a coaster event this weekend at Dollywood so I’m sure it is operational. 6 of my top 10 are RMCs so I’m right there with you. An Intamin just got knocked out of my top 10.
Omg! You have to put yourself in a locker!? How barbaric Sea....... World.
I have zero idea why Aussie parks don't open late.. They should and it's been a complaint of mine since forever. 5PM in Peak summer is ridiculous.
Lmfao I'm very appreciative that they don't stay open late. The parks are small enough that later closing times aren't needed
@@RachelXKnight666 "Appreciative that we can't ride our coasters in the dark" - Trying to think how anyone cogent who loves rides could even think that.
@@teddym2808 our parks don’t need to be open that late. The population is so small that it usually doesn’t take an entire day to ride everything
@@RachelXKnight666 They could do it on Fri and Saturday nights in Summer, that's all I meant, not every single day. You're obviously not a coaster enthusiast, so you are not the target market at all. Leviathan, Rivals and Taipan in the dark would be transformative. To say the least. Surreal.
@@teddym2808 lmfao thank you for telling me whether or not I’m a theme park or coaster enthusiast. I literally lived 10 minutes away from Australia’s Wonderland/Wonderland Sydney growing up and would go at least twice a month with our wonderpasses. I’m just explaining the logistics. Speaking of wonderland I’m pretty sure they were the only major theme park open sometimes for their 7 after 7 deal. But Luna park is open until 10pm so it’s not all Aussie theme parks
I was just thinking, "I didn't know there was a SeaWorld in Australia." This is not a SWE park, it's a Village Roadshow park. How is this permitted?
Sea World in Australia opened before Sea World in Orlando.
@@boydenhingston-muir3907 SeaWorld San Diego opened in 1964 where as Sea World Australia opened in 1971. Nice try though.
@@HeyMavDak You are correct, I was under the impression Orlando was the first one.
There are several parks around the world called Sea World in some form.
@@boydenhingston-muir3907 I don't understand why so many people lack originality considering the plethora of words. I'm not even disturbed by using the same theme but the same name is ridiculous. How 'bout Marine World? Marina Village? Aquawold? etc.
@@HeyMavDakI really don't understand why you're making such a big deal about this 😂😂
how corny are the shows!!! haha
