I am so happy that games are adding small animations like these when eating food/taking medicine/other things. Just makes it feel that much more immersive!
A fair few of these animations seem to mimic the way Tarkov does them, from opening the can to the direction and amount of shakes it takes for a few pieces. It's pretty, but it stands out.
Course there are some welcome additions like how they did the sardine thing where the soldier goes and waves his hand before he begins to eat like hes saying, "Phew what a smell!"

i like these animations. most of these animations actually look better than tarkov i kinda dont like the animations from tarkov - with food weirdly materializing in a spoon, bottles and cans being placed incorrectly or with the weird way of eating chocolate bars by leaving them sticking out of your mouth for them to disappear. this game, however, has none of these issues, and really nails it well, especially for a mobile game

wouldn't it be nice if they took a little extra time to animate the food actually being finished instead of eating/biting a few times and then it disappears i mean i get that that would take more time and effort and also take longer animation for eating/drinking but even little details like this could improve a game im not saying it's bad I'm just suggesting an idea what do you think?
It might get annoying if it makes the animation too long like how some people complain about RDR2. I think a good compromise would be if at the end there was another eating sound effect to imply that your character slurps down the remaining food in one gulp off-screen instead of just putting the food down.

I'm surprised they didn't add any alcohol related consumable into this game like wine, whiskey, etc.. Either they want to avoid increasing the age rating, the game that originated are not allow to add any depiction of alcohol beverages.
I might be in the minority here, but wouldn't it help the animations feel more satisfying if the food in the can lowered after every spoonful so it at least gives the appearance that you aren't throwing away a full can?
