    I look at these videos as a guide to better understand bracket racing. Really appreciate the explanation as it happens. Can't wait for the next one.

      Thanks Joe. Much appreciated. That's what I was hoping this channel could do. I want to grow our sport and help educate along with build friendships and be able to learn more myself!

    Glad this hit my recs. Big bracket fan and follow a few channels. Gonna check your stuff out for a bit (no homo) and see if this continues. Love the technical side of bracket racing and it appears that's what you do. Thx for sharing.

      Thanks. Much appreciated! Once this off season hits I'll be posting more stuff like this. Where we breakdown races, or talk about the dynamics of bracket racing.

    Glad to see the bracket guys. They fill the time when we’re not running. I would never run dial in but some guys like it. Once you’ve worked on a fuel car everything else is a disappointment

      Some guys don’t have the paycheck to run a fuel car

    Hey man! Great video! Question for you - what camera are you using in your helmet/visor? That’s a cool view and would love to get one to watch my runs back from another perspective. See you at the track soon!

    Hope it's ok to ask questions. What do you mean when you say your holding x amount of time as you are making a pass?

    • @gooncotv
      @gooncotv  2 года назад +1

      Absolutely! If I think the car is going to run let's say a 4.91, then if I'm holding that means I'm going to dial something slower than what I assume the car will run. For 3 reasons. 1)if my car does happen to slow down a little bit I will still be able to run my dial in or atleast be closer to it. 2)it can mask a bad reaction time. 3) it should help put me in front of the other car at the finish line where I can then control how much I take the stripe.

      @@gooncotv thanks for the answer. I get it.

    The car looked like it was consistent in the .91. Why hold?

    • @gooncotv
      @gooncotv  Год назад +1

      Your right. I was holding because my reaction times were not super great. So to mask my lights being what they were I decided to hold about .020.

    in my opinion delay box's ruined sportsman drag racing, my other dislike is the 1/8th mile

    • @gooncotv
      @gooncotv  Месяц назад

      I'm for sure a 1/4 mile racer at heart. Wish there was more of it. But I do have to say that 1/8 mile racing is still a lot of fun. I don't think delay box's ruined anything. There is still plenty of no box big money racing and still a ton of racing locally where car counts in the no box side is large. Either way you look at it, you still have to cut a light. Just because you have a delay box doesn't mean your unbeatable... Thanks for watching

    Delay Box??? Get real, this is not racing, All the tricks and and mega bucks you spend on nonsense instead of racing the old fashioned way. This is the last time I will view this channel. Stop cheating, if you can't win fare and square stay home.

      Lol not cheating when everyone there has one. Have you seen the more recent stuff we've posted? All bottom bulb door car racing.

      You clearly have not watched any of the other video's. Dustin is a 3 time track champion at Milan Dragway, NHRA Div 3 Champion & National R/U in the Pro/No Box class..... Yes he also runs a dragster for fun... He is not someone that you want in the other lane.
