I got this specifically for the poppy red shimmer and the purples 🥰 Immediately swapped out the boring brown mattes for the green shimmers from the Peridot quad and a pewter shimmer from Lilas. It is now my perfect winter palette and I'm having a blast mixing and matching colours. Does not disappoint 👌🏻

I bought this palette as soon as I saw it. I love that you can customize Viseart palettes so easily and I frequently depot them to make my own 16 pan palettes or just switch out colors. For this one I switched out the darker gold for another purple. By the way the Charlotte Tilbury dupe is on her site on BOGO sale.

Oh my gosh I want the palette for the purples, especially the light purple duo chrome! 😍 The blue shimmer makes me think of a more everyday version of the PML Huetopian dream light purple with blue glitter shade!!

They have the same blue-pink shimmer in the Midsomer palette, if you like that type of shade 😅 I just love it!

Thanks for your review, Sofia! It was helpful to see the comparisons with other Viseart palettes. I'm always looking at Minxette, but having the ND Bronze palette always stops me from purchasing it. I may finally pull the trigger on Violette during the sale...it looks gorgeous!
Yeah that’s a good point cause bronze isn’t similar. The Violette palette is one of the more unique ones but it’s still wearable

Did you ever get Minxette? It’s my favorite Viseart palette.
I wasn’t interested in this palette at all but the looks you did with this are gorgeous and really showcase how beautifully they have curated this colour story, it’s chefs kiss from me. I won’t be buying it cos I have so many palettes that I’d be able to create all these looks so I just need to pull some palettes out and get create but that peachy creamy orange and purple colour story is gorgeous

Thank you for filming a review for Le Marais. I’m considering adding it to my Viseart collection, it’s now half price on their website for Memorial Day. I like all the shades except the red and the deep gold, but I think the rest are wearable enough for me that I’ll get my money’s worth. But I have to say this palette looks a lot like the Minxette étendu from my perspective... but I like the duochrome and the purple and aubergine additions.
I love their packaging and how you can swap out the shades! most of mine have swaps haha 😂 Sephora won’t be selling Viseart in the future, I’m not sure if they decided to go exclusive with Beautylish. Sephora’s loss I guess.

Would you ever compare le Marais and cashmerie
If you have cashmerie and minxette so you essentially have this palette would you say?
Cashmerie isn't very similar to the purples but I think if you have these two it doesn't make a ton of sense to get this one
Cashmerie Étendu is cool-toned, Le Marais is a lot warmer.
What’s on your eyes
Orange is not a neutral. And there are at least 4 "neutrals" in this that lean very orange. Don't get me wrong. I think Viseart is one of the best eye shadow companies out there. And they make some stunning palettes. But this isn't my favorite. Those new Petit Fours have most of my attention.
Also, thanks for this video. Viseart's answer to their lack of diversity is to now show all of their colors on a dark tan skin tone. That's as tone deaf and exclusionary as only showing them on white. They can't show every one, but is Light, Medium and Deep too much to ask? It's only two more photos and they're digital! It's not like we're asking them to buy film! Excuse my rant. Please do the new Petit Fours, because I think I might like a couple (Lilas Deux and Violette) but no way to tell how they'd look on me.

Hey Deborah, interesting I didn’t think of any of these as oranges 🤔 has Viseart been criticized for not having inclusive color stories? I always thought they had a good mix but curious to hear from you and the community. So far I like the Dyson but trying to figure out the best ways to use it. It’s time consuming!
@@SofiaSeesBeauty I don't think Viseart has per se. But there has been a lot of pushback against all makeup companies, in the past few years for omitting colors for deeper skin tones. And I think many companies are responding. Although they seem to still be trying to figure out how to do it best.
@@SofiaSeesBeautyI’m a longtime Viseart fan and have never heard complaints about having non-inclusive color stories… they usually show their swatches on light and dark skins.
