  • This part is using Adobe After Effects tools to put the character's walk cycle (from part 2) into a parallax background environment.

    Thank you so, so much for these videos. I tried following other tutorials and between the blaring music and clickclickclickclick with no explanation could never figure anything out. This is perfect!!

    Thank you very much! I have been attempting to rig my cartoon without success. Either IK plugins were too time-intensive to learn or didn't have tutorial. Using AE's Puppet Tool is exactly what I need for my type of animation and cartoons. However, this is the first tutorial that gave a simple explanation, with an easy-to-follow demo. I will soon be comfortable to move onto advanced techniques.

    you given the comp Expression for carcter moves the length of the personal comp
    if I move a certain period and then stop the movement, and after a while start moving again
    what can i do?
    how edit in expression for make this point?

      Hi Islam, thanks for watching the lesson! I'm not sure I quite understand what the issue is with your comp. I think what you're getting at is 'trimming' the comp. Make sure before completing the pre-comp you trim the walk cycle timeline so there is no extra room for lack of movement. You probably wouldn't edit this in the expression, although I'm sure you could figure out how with a little bit of research into expressions.
