The Lost conversation

A months worth of shooting and editing. This project we did in Makhanda in 2021 for a small creative group in the city. The play explores conversations that were supposedly had by the characters represented. The main focus being the dialogue. We explore the nuances of how Xhosa leadership was tackling the christian influence back in colonial times. Seated at the table are Makhanda, Mdushane and a christian missionary.
