    I loved this. When I screw up my one aquarium it gives me solace to know that someone who has set up hundreds of aquariums and knows more about plants than I ever will still has to be patient when things aren't going well. Thanks for the inspiration Rachel.

    I love this aquarium. Seeing an example of the results of allowing the plants to grow into their full potential instead of always snipping and fussing to maintain an artificial appearance is wonderful.

  • @NathanSidF
    @NathanSidF 4 года назад +1

    I agree 100% with you, Rachel. Patience is key with planted tanks. You can't replicate how plants naturally fill in.
    To be honest, patience is key in any aspect in this hobby. I used to work in a garden center's pet department and the best advice I gave people is just to take things slowly when they start in the hobby. If you rush the start, you'll only have more struggles in the beginning. The people who followed my advice kept coming back because I wasn't just a 'seller', I really tried to help them. The people who didn't followed my advice came back with aquarium water for testing that didn't look good at all. You just can't start an aquarium on tap water, full of fish, barely any plants and only top it off. Those people frequently came back to be angry tho haha
