Why the F Does the media NEVER ask these questions on post game? It’s infuriating! Put Sides in the hot seat every game.

It's not that Crusty Sides doesn't trust Clark, Crusty doesn't like her, and she has an agenda. No one can coach this badly, it is deliberate.

Sides makes 500k a year. I think sides agenda is to also keep all the other players happy and what sides doesn’t get is when Clark does well the whole team does well. Mitchell had I’m not sure but maybe her highest scoring game of the year 28 points because Mitchell is a good shooter but also because Clark gave her the ball in good scoring positions. Sides needs to make the team understand that when Clark runs the show and does well they will also do well for example get Mitchell to understand that. I think sides has psychological problems usually this kind of behavior is seen with wmn. Sides doesn’t want Clark taking charge it threatening to sides authority that’s an emotional over logical thinking. If I was Clark I would ask to be traded.

If you are at a live game, start chanting Caitlin, Caitlin, Caitlin, Caitlin whenever the ball IS NOT in Caitlin's hand. Also, videos like this, email this video to all the Fever Team memebers emails and also email to all the emails of the sports writers so they are aware this is going on. It has to end as Caitlin's stats are about 30% less than they should be and Fever would have won more games if Caitlin was permitted to lead the team without interference.

I think by the end of this season, Caitlin will have enough credibility through her play and her value to the WNBA to pretty much name her terms moving forward, including demanding a change in head coach or a trade. Whether or not she’d pull that trigger is another debate. She is after all a very nice person.

I think the women's game is set up differently than the men's involving trades, and things like that. I thought I'd heard that the women can't just change teams as easily as the men. I might be wrong on that. It's obvious that the Owner's don't care about the wnba, like the nba, cuz they don't bring in as much money. But, Clark is different in the type of revenue she brings in. I don't know, just my thoughts!

I've wondered the same thing. Is she betting against the team? She wants credit when the team wins but blames the team when they lose. A coach doesn't do that. I think she's very insecure being coach because Caitlin knows more about coaching than she does. It scares her.

Yes, Sides is trying to establish herself as a good coach. From her first press conference, she diminished CC by stating issues she would correct! Caitlin knows the game better Sides.
I think Clark is building a relationship with her teammates and showing them that they can win. Winning is a lot more fun than losing. I also noticed that Clark is who told Sides to challenge the foul call on Smith’s clean block. We know Sides hates Smith. We know Sides recently punished Smith and that Smith’s gf isn’t a fan of the Clark fans who hurl racist abuse because who would be? So Clark having Smith’s back and friendly banter is nice to see.

When CC's contract is up Magic Johnson, one of the owners of the LA Sparks need to sign Caitlin. I think that's the best organization for her. She's Showtime, she see the game the way Magic did and I they would let Caitlin be Caitlin.

This coach is definitely not qualified for this level of player, i.e., CC.
Another point is AB and CC could agree to take over the team. I think Sides is afraid of not having any voice in the room and is trying to prove she knows best. ...Evidence is to the contrary. That is why she has stuck with Wallace and Wheeler to the detriment of the team. Fever should have at least 2 more wins that coach turned to losses.
@earlewilliams- personally, I think these players should get on the Same page and just do their own thing. They have the potential to do this. They just Have to Stick Together to do it. Leave Sides with her mouth dropped wide open.

I think it's going to have to be the Fans sending a message, that they will not support this team as long as Sides is the coach. Doubtful that will happen either, unless they Know that they won't be watching Clark!

Clark's reaction after Mitchell's bricked 3, said it all. She just walk off to the other end of the court. I hate too look too much into this deal with Sides grabbing Clark, without knowing all the actual facts, but either way, this is a terrible look. Ultimately, the Fever won this game, yet nobody is happy with it at all. Think about that, fans are more pissed about a win, than they are about any loss this year. And every finger points right at Christie Sides. The Aces should trade the entire farm for Clark. She will 100% go to Vegas to play with Kate Martin, and nobody will be able to stop that team. The Fever have to do something, because Clark and the fans are not going to put up with this
Edit- Hell now that I think about this, maybe that's why the Aces drafted Kate Martin in the first place lol. Think about it. Martin was Clark's room mate in college. Martin wasn't expected to be drafted, yet the Aces draft her anyway (biggest steal of the entire draft too.) Now they have the biggest bargaining chip to attract Clark to play at Vegas, because in no world does Caitlin Clark say no to playing in the pros with Kate Martin. Ya never know lol

I think the whole culture of wnba is messed up! That's why no one ever watched it! CC is such an awesome BB player! People like me that never watched BB before are paying attention! The wnba is made up of so many disfuctional women! CC just wants to play great BB! It's a fact many woman ruin whatever they touch because they turn on each other quickly! Lots of people have drawn attention to Sides over-ruling Caitlin on that play, and later grabbing her by the arm. I appreciate you taking it one step further to the effect of this coaching behavior on the team. With all the criticism she receives, Sides must feel like she is losing control. She is used to a different style of basketball than Caitlin plays, but it's not as effective as Caitlin's almost NBA approach to the game. How tough it must be to be a coach with a rookie player who demonstrates superior basketball know-how than her coach. When people feel they are losing control, they squeeze tighter (i.e., grab Caitlin by the arm). Sadly, squeezing tighter creates even more resistance or kills the one being squeezed (figuratively). Sides may be doing exactly what her boss is telling her to do, so the situation may be even more difficult for her with a superstar rookie on one side and an old-fashioned WNBA style GM on the other.
A good coach coaches the team according to the talents and strengths of the players. But also good coaches with winning systems build a teams with players who fit that system. At some point you have to realize the special talents of your best players this is where I think Sides is failing miserably. You pump the brakes on the pace that got you a big lead then you’re at a loss in explaining how you almost lost it. 🤦♂️

That image of the four players is very telling. Mitchell's easily good enough to get 10 rebounds - maybe not every game - but she'll never get double doubles the way she's playing.
She is improving; in recent games she has passed the ball to CC22 from time to time, so let's home she'll gradually get used to doing that.
Definitely could use her rebounding! The Fever aren’t strong enough to have a “shoot only” person on the court. She needs to be a TEAM player and not just a “my stats” player IMHO.

Sides behavior is primarily motivated by CC not bowing and scraping to her. Sides likes being in control and likes Wheeler because she's "coachable." At this point CC has no respect for Sides as a coach, and Sides would rather show CC who's boss than win a game. Same goes for the GM. In a few words, it's ego and spite

Impressive interpretation and probably on the money. Sad situation for Clark and the team. Mitchell may come along in time, she’s never been a team player, and old habits are hard to break, but Kelsey benefits so much by working with Caitlin, it’s hard to believe she doesn’t know it.

It is completely INAPPROPRIATE FOR ANY COACH at ANY AGE LEVEL to physically and forcefully grab a player like that, and especially juvenile in an adult league. The forceful anger in that grab after Caitlin had already passed her, could have easily resulted in an injury. Caitlin can't play nice girl anymore to Sides. CC needs to QUICKLY draw a line that sends shockwaves through Sides and the entire Fever organization on how she DEMANDS to be treated respectfully and like an adult, lest Caitlin's parent's show up to the GM with a lawyer and CC's manager by their sides. CHRISTIE SIDES IS A COMPLETE EMBARRASSMENT to the entire organization and league.

For years the WNBA was ignored by the masses. Now the masses are watching one single player. The other players that have been playing are still being ignored by the masses. This is pissing off the players, the coaches, the administrators of the league. So they have banded together to go after her as a group - a total group effort.
The WNBA is constantly posting about the wonderful play of Angel Reese with her consecutive double doubles, (a WNBA made up record just recently) while ignoring all of the other players getting double doubles and Catlin's triple double. This is to serve one purpose, to take the focus of the masses off of Caitlin Clark. These efforts have failed and has only increased Catlin's popularity.
Feel for Caitlin and the Fever. Christie takes no responsibility therefore offers no chance for fundamental change. Unfortunately, CC will lift the Fever into the playoffs despite having to overcome a coach passionately working against her and the team.
The thing about it is Clark would never say anything against Sides publicly regardless of what she is really thinking. If the fever decide to stay with Sides in time you will see Clark rebel and do what she decides is best anyway. Ive said this before but Clark does have the power to get rid of sides should she choose to do so.

They made the big 4th quarter comeback by ignoring the coach. They started running again. The star player on the other team had a very bad shooting game, but she was forced to guard Clark the whole game. Even when she struggles, she wears down the other team.
If your coach doesn't have confidence in you being the best player on the team, how does the coach feel about the other fellow players? A change is necessary either in the coach's attitude or the player will bounce at the end of her contract. Quickest solution change the coach and start a new beginning. Coach's attitude seldom changes. They just feel further resentment.

Christie Sides is the Paul Westhead of this team. She is trying to show that she is the brains behind the team’s success, and it is putting her at odds with the team’s superstar.
They simply don't need a coach. The Indiana Fever do not need a coach. Caitlin is the best coach on the floor.
You can bet the farm that the feeling is mutual on Clark's part, also. None of Clark's fans trust Sides, either. I haven't watched this video yet. I'll never understand the crappy job of coaching Sides is doing. I know nobody is so stupid as do to some of the stuff Sides had done to and with Clark. Benching her when she has led a 20 point comeback, in less than 5 minutes, or there abouts, and on the verge of winning, possibly. Pure stupidity, if not deliberate sabotage.
I admire CC’s mental toughness. If I was in her shoes, I would refuse to go out there. If Sides disrespected me I’d let her see what the team looks like without me.

Her biggest challenge is bringing Sides on board while shoring up her ego, which she tried to do with the 'great play designed by coach to start the 4th quarter' during the last post-game media statement. Second biggest challenge, of course, is getting assists from Mitchell. Mitchell is now assisting Samuelson, for one game at least.

Sides could not behave that way without the approval of Herb Simon, owner of the Fever.
Cheryl Reeve could say and do what she did without the approval of Glen Taylor, the owner of Lynx.
If the owners were not behind it, then these would be isolated incidents,
and not the orchestrated persistent actions they are.
To me, it looks like a policy and program has been created to denigrate and diminish Caitlin Clark.
That seems insane, too. I cannot fathom how it benefits the owners.
Yet, the owners are at least tolerating it, if not initiating it.
I am not sure which would be worse.
A coaches job is to pick the team up, not to demean them and put them down. Especially, when your franchise invests in the number one draft pick.
