He's finally riding on the dirt! Make sure to keep ur elbows up, sit at the front by the gas tank, and when ur putting ur foot down in corner put it more foward and not just down🤙
Killer brotha! So happy to see you out on some dirt irl! If you want some advice... When your putting your foot out in corners try and sit more forward on the bike and try and place your foot higher up towards the front fender you dont want to catch some dirt and drag your foot under the peg. Also when it comes to jumping you just have to do it and the confidence/skill will come. Once u are comfortable and actually do it you'll be like oh that was easier than i thought. Last tip when your riding stand in a attack mode chin over the bars knees slightly bent back arched and balls of your feet on the pegs. You got this Kelso! Dont worry about wrecking a little dirt ain't going to hurt haha.
Great first Ride -When corning put your leg up way higher towards your shroud and turn you big toe towards the forks, keeping you foot down like that risk your foot and ankle -I know I can be hard your first ride but when your on the track get out of the habbit of looking back everytime you hear some one when you did that the bike move the direction you look and you can cross lines that way, the faster guys will go around specially on open practice. - Practice on keeping on finger on the clutch at all times it can help you with corners, whiskey throttle and eventually when you get to it, brake tapping. Keep up the good work, would like to me more videos and your progression!!
One tip, try standing until the middle of the corner/rut. This will help you so much might get a little tired quicker but will get better the more you ride.
I love this. W kelso Also about the gopro thing. Maybe in the future you can get a 360 camera. I suggest you look into them, they are amazing You should upload daily videos once a week, maybe once a month. I personally love it, this looks sick.
4:36 Kelso you I don’t think you can get a red flag in a practice but idk it could be different for you guys? Also for some tips try and sit up on the bike a little bit more it will help with stability and also try and maybe get the leg up a tiny bit more when turning. But great job for your first time you did great Kelso!
Gotta work on leaning, when youre standing your knees are straight and your head is over the handlebars like an upside down L, booty a little further up on the seat, steady throttle, stay second and third unless you have to start the bike again, ride on your balls I MEAN THE BALLS OF YOUR FEET, slip the clutch, dont pull it all in, barely enough so you dont stall (but you probably wont with your rekluse) and remember, people are stupid on the track, so you should become like me in mxbikes ;)
