not wrong he is a great guy
Same
A good tip when you're turning his to just look where you want to turn
My kid really wants a dirt bike
If he is 12 get him a 110 cc and the first bike like that cost 500 to 2000
That’s right I’m racing on dirt bikes now I’m on a yz Yamaha 65 2022 with 6 gears
Just like a bicycle
How do I do ghat tho??
Neutral always gets me on the CRF150RB. Once did I get it first try, besides that, no difficulty. My nephew -10, I think- got a CRF125F. My dad thinking it a good idea "Hey, let's get my daughter a racing bike after 6-7 years of not riding a dirt bike, great idea!". Personally, I was a fourwheeler kid after the wreck, but now, I'd take the bike over everything. Thanks dad:). We had to put a few dollars into getting a Honda Helix carb for her after her original carb started bogging, valves messed up, no front break pads, front left fork messed up, and a lot more. But, she came around. Now I got my 4th bike up and running with the help of dad.
I wanted a KLX 140 or a KX85, but, after how easy it is to loop out on a two stroke, it was between the KLX or CRF. We got her for 1,000. Worth less, lied about a lot when we got her. Now he's trying to get me hopefully into C-Class.
You are now my favorite youtuber.. 👍tysm. I just bought a 2024 ttr230 at 14. 6ft it's the only bike my size for my price.. when I brought it home I knew nothing. The guy at the dealership taught me how to start it.. but this video showed me alot... very well explained 👏 👌
you're ballsy for not buying used first respect bro
Best beginners’ refresher tbh ❤
Thank you this help me a lot. I feel like I’m professional now.😂 I just got a kawasaki 140f r this really helped me a lot. Thank you man.👍🏽
Im glad man!
this is way better than all of the other tutorials and i am definitely subscribing.
Appreciate it 🙌🏼
Thank you so much dude, I've been trine learn how to ride for a long time u helped me a lot !
Glad to hear it!
Hi buddy. Just want to thank you so much for your clear tutorial. I just finished my first ride after I guess 20 years off the bike. I stalled engine few times at the beginning, but as I figure it out I was just enjoying like a kid with a new toy :D Still strugglin a little bit with getting neutral gear (I don't feel that halfway click). Thanks a lot mate.
When letting off the clutch try this to not stall the engine. Give it a little gas while still holding the clutch and slowly let off the clutch. Hope this helps!
Edit: You could also roll down hill and let off the clutch without the throttle at all.
Please don’t use these methods forever, but just more as your learning how to do it properly.
@@styxvr Rollin down the hill is a good tip for beginners. Man. I've already made 18mth at full throttle :D
@@jet43 you should record videos on it!
Literally through some headphone on while listening to you explain and learned in 30mins👍🏽🔥
🙌
Just got a 2024 Yamaha 250. Never rode before a day in my life. Yall think I’m straight ?
Put some training wheels on her and you’ll be ight
I just bought my first bike too never rode. I got a 250 as well it's sitting in my living room until my motorcycle class
you’ll do great, just take it slow with going outside of your comfort zone, and learning different types of terrain and skills
@@chachmcgrach2053your living room😭
I’m a Honda dude and don’t know much about Yamaha bikes but is a trail edition or race?

This is the best video I’ve seen to do with driving these just got a 110 L for christmas😂
I hope it helped you!
I struggle with taking off to I kept stalling cus I didn't give it enough throttle can get someone to push you it helps
just walk the bike so it doesn't stall, thats what i did lol just give it a little bit of throttle
You could set your idle a little high so you don't have to give it much gas
Thank you for the video, makes it clear for first timers
Glad to hear that!
Do you have to ease off the clutch for every gear? Or just first? When stopping from all the way in 4th do you cycle down through all gears or just let off gas, brake and then back to neutral when you’ve stopped?
Thank you I love your videos you are a great dirt bike driver
Glad you like them!
Bro this guy needs more subs this video is GOLD and he only has 970ish subs NO WAY help this man out
Ayee thanks bro

Happy to help!

🤯
and when you change gears let off the throttle before you do so then pull in the clutch

🤯
thanks for this video because i am getting a dirt bike on my birthday on may
Happy early birthday. Good luck!
Can you stop in 3rd gear and switch to neutral without throttling? Let me know, thanks!
Great vid, i have a problem with getting it in to neutral for me it just is a too small tick i cant seem to get it right
I don't even have a bike and still watched this but iv decided ima get 1
Hey on the dirtbike do you have to ride the clutch????
Great video! I’ve got my fiancé watching tons of these now.
I wanna know how you afford a place like that😅Beautiful!
ahh thats my parents crib lol. Mine aint that nice
U know how at first you can only give it a little bit of gas or the engine will die, after a bit can u go slowly in first?
Good stuff
Very educational, don't even have one yet but I'm ready 😂
Getcha one
Two reasons actually. One sure they wanna learn but two you made a mother vid of course I’m ganna watch it no matter what it says
Bro I just got into ridding and this is gonna help me so much like knowing this is just way better but my bike it to tall for me and when I'm gonna go riding I can't really stop or I will fall of 😂
depending on the bike you can get a lower seat that might help some.
So helpful thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Thinking about buying one
I wanna know when I shift from 1 to 2 do I have to like stop at neutral or do I just go from 1 to 2 without half clicking
You go straight from 1st to 2nd
Need this when I get one
Whatcha gonna get
When you’re coming to a stop ahead of you, do you have to downshift and brake or you can just brake?
Starting out just pull the clutch in and brake if you have too
ive been riding for years idk why im watching but nice bike and property lol
Thanks g
thank you for explaining better than my dad
Well dang
Me watching this on my phone while going on my own bike and i don't know what to do💀💀
Gotta do whatcha gotta do
I always have an issue where I will be in neutral and when I switch into 1st I will either stall or I will just launch off and start to wheelie how do I get a normal launch?
Just slowly let out on the clutch. Just go as slow as you’re fingers will let you, soon as your head the engine start to bog down give it just a little bit of throttle as you continue letting out the clutch
@@blainekx Thank you man I'll be trying this tomorrow. I just got my license and have been trying to practice with a dual sport so I can start driving around and finding trails.
ty g
would knowing how drive standard in a car help with the start up with the clutch?
I would say it doesn't hurt. You'll be able to find that clutch gas ratio pretty quick
Definitely can’t hurt anything
So when u want to stop can u shift gears like all the way from 3rd to neutral or does it have to be 1st
Yeah you gotta go all the way down to get to neutral
Are you supposed to oull the clutch out?
just got a 125 and i’m wondering do you need to use a little bit of gas when you going into 2nd? btw it’s all up
Does it have a clutch on it?
ty u so much is help a bunch
Im glad!
When you go up a gear do you let of the clutch normal speed or slow like how you start in 1st?
You can just let it out normal
@@blainekxthx for letting me know im just wanting to learn how to ride a dirt bike and buying one my self its a dream of mine
sense i was a kid and have always wanted to ride thx for letting me know!
So, when You are let's say in 1st gear is it ok to go fast in first gear, will it break the dirt bike, or do you have to switch to 2nd gear to go faster and so on.
Yeah it will burn the clutch you have to shift
Starting out maybe but might as well shift up
Should I get a four-wheeler, side-by-side, or dirt bike? I want a dirt bike more and feel I would like it better. What do you think?
Hard choice depends what you’re wanting to do really and how much you want to spend
Ty
what model are you using in the vid
What kawasaki is that you're riding, and whats the cc of it
I Owned SUZUKI TSX 125cc I Wanna know How Wheelie whit that enduro?
It is thanks bro
Any time
Fuking amazing thank you so much!
Anytime anytime
Are you supposed to pull the choke out?
how expensive should gear be (for both dirtnike and then motorcycles n shi like that)
The more you spend the better
pls talk more about shifting, ive gotten better and I need to know more about shifting, like you were talking about shifting by rev maxing and then not needing to use the clutch, can you tell me about that
i couldn’t rrly understand but if your talking about switching gears you have to be at max speed in the gear then stop thortleing pull in clutch then press up with your legs on the shifter then let go clutch and throttle for speed
My buddy was teaching how to ride one. the throttle was really messing with me and i laid it. it hurt
Video's actually putting me off getting one. It looks way more complicated than I expected. I was thinking it'd just be a throttle and a hand brake but GEARS and a FOOT brake?! Plus I don't live near a big open field so all of my practice would have to be on a public road with cars and concrete and stuff!
It’s like riding a bike once you figure it out it’s easy. Depending where you live you might have some riding parks around you, that way you can go and ride on some different trails and learn how to ride. Most parks have a youth trail which is perfect to learn on.
I would recommend a crf110 or even a mini bike. Those are super easy to ride and are still a ton of fun
😂
Dumb guy 😂
usa lore
My question is do you need to shift in neutral when you stop the bike but its on?
Yes. If it's in 1st it will still move.
yo i ride dirtbikes and i came to see if this is accurate and definitely it true i ride a kx100 2 stroke
Nice! Those are sick bikes
Im thinking about getting into riding my buddy is willing to sell me a Honda xr100 for around $400, Im 6'3" and around the 200-205 range. Would it be worth it? Edit: forgot to add that it's a 4 stroke
For 400$ maybe but that bike is gonna be absolutely tiny on you. Your knees will probably hit the handlebars lol
How do you know when it’s time to switch gears
Gotta listen to the engine noise. Once it gets high in the rpm is when you shift
@@blainekx oh ok thanks man I was wondering
Can you stay in the same gear if wanted to ? Or do you have to change gears everytime?
You gotta change gears based off the speed you’re going
@@blainekx when will i know to change gears?
Im 15 from the uk will i need a license to drive on paths or in un-used football area's behind a park
Ah idk the uk rules
@@blainekx its alright 👍
How to brake correctly? Do i need to press the clutch and the rear brake?
Good question! You’ll first
Let off the throttle, then pull the clutch in as you start breaking. Or you can pull the clutch and brake after it’s pulled In
@@blainekx oh okay, but what gear are you supposed to be in? Would it be bad if you breaked in like 3rd gear? Do you need to downshift to 1st?
It don’t really matter what gear you’re in. But when you get back going you need to shift down to the appropriate gear based of the speed you’re going. Over time you’ll learn and kinda know off the dome what gear to go to but starting out you’ll just have to kinda play with it. 2nd or 3rd gear is a pretty safe bet tho.
@@blainekx Last question, can i brake while in gear and not neutral? If i want to brake in gear, do i puslapis in the clutch as i start breaking, or i can use no clutch?
I already know how to ride im boted asf rn
Me and my friend are thinking about each getting a dirt bike. Any recommendation for a first bike?
Depends on how tall you are. Don’t get a monster. Go to dealership and sit on a few then buy you a good used one.
