I rode one of these in Davos once and it couldn’t get it to work because the berm wasn’t high enough but this thing looks solide as heck! Like you could ride into it mach 1 and still ride a perfect wallride. And a wallride made of dirt? Props man! Wow! Most epic build!!! 👏🏼🤩 That looks sooo fun! I’m glad the rains came, because it looked so good after, also it was fun to see the various colors of dirt you have. I love how the dirt shapes right up to the tree trunks and one is slightly part of the berm. Absolutely fantastic build!!!

    Crazy cool feature man, you could build like a jump that goes to the left something like a left hip right before the trails goes past the drop. And then it could reconnect after the future berm if you wanted. 🔥

    • @mattspen
      @mattspen 2 года назад

      Cool idea! I’m all for multi-option trails! Sounds like it would be a much slower speed option with the lip off trail to the left to not kill speed for the Corkscrew.

    • @mattspen
      @mattspen 2 года назад

      I think another hidden feature could be to follow the previous trail (seen at the start of the video) and jumping off this new berm (leaning right) and landing on a new hidden landing on the old trail (leaning left). I love jumps that have slanted lip/landing combos that make you shift in the air 👌🏼

    • @cutlaps
      @cutlaps  2 года назад +1

      Lots of great ideas in here! It would be cool to work something out so trains aren't as dangerous haha. Theres also another option that could work as a sneaky line. Just before the end of the corkscrew before the wooden take off there is a gap in the trees that takes you back to the high speed roller from the previous episode. You could gap out of the corkscrew onto a trail that then gaps from the top of the failed hip landing over the trail.

      Honestly I was very unsure it was going to work for a lot of the build as well. It ended up way bigger than what I was originally planning. But after moving a huge amount of dirt it was possible to carry enough speed through the berm. And now it works so well. Thanks for watching.

    Fantastic build. Your trail building progression has been cool to watch. Only issue with the corkscrew is you won't be able to do trains! Maybe dig out a deep dip on the trail where the drop crosses? Something you can pump for speed. Deep enough that another rider wouldn't collide.

    • @cutlaps
      @cutlaps  2 года назад

      I've been thinking about trains and working out a system. Setting up signpost markers that let you know how close or far behind the rider you need to be. I can imagine some really cool cross over videos. There will also be a b-line so you can skip the feature if someone is already riding it.
