I think the funnier aspect is the implication that they took the tickets. Went home. Changed. Made a plan to meet up at the game, left the game. Went home. Slept. Woke up. Went to work. And then back to Erchan's office.... and then did it all again with Jersey Boys. It's stuff you really only see in animation and I love that they did it here.
The cut in the editing when he gives the choice of Mamma Mia and Jersey Boys, then they jump straight to big girls don't cry just cracks me up every time 🤣😂
Knowing they set aside a whole day to shoot a production of Jersey Boys for literally about 8 seconds of footage makes this scene and the movie as a whole just a perfect gem!

Sure you had a few more good comedies up until 2013 or so but these weren’t historically great movies, and after 2013 even just a good comedy became rarer than a non-mentally ill liberal female.

Every time I watch it, I seem to catch another little hidden joke or something in the background. There are a few scenes that look like both Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg can barely contain their laughter. I would have loved to have been there during the filming of this just to see how many takes they had to do to get some of these scenes complete .
The Road Dogg and Billy Gunn just happened to be there, a friend offered to take them to the game and they were filming that scene and ended up getting on camera.

This movie was playing in the background of some party i was at and this was the first scene i saw and i was cracking up while everyone was mid conversation, i knew i had to go back and watch this whole movie lol. Turned out to be one of my favorite comedies of all time
