Personally I think you should have a special rag or cloth. Just for Chris Because he deserves it every time I hear a new song of his it gets added? To. My playlist. 😂😂
Before you even start listening to any of Chris Stapleton's songs you might as well get out the rag cause you gonna need it. He's got country, blues, southern rock and other genres all wrapped into one. He's a one of a kind! Ain't no one like him. He's extremely talented. Listen to Fire Away. It's a deep song.
Try his rendition of James Brown’s “Man’s World”. He was in Nashville watching the band who saw him and pulled him up on stage to sing this unrehearsed. Amazingly soulful! He did JB proud!
Chris Stapleton is a beast - another one who deserves every award he gets. Another gritty soul is Yebba. If you haven't already, maybe do a reaction to her "My Mind" live Sofar NYC performance. Both crazy talented musicians/performers.
Hi I'm watching this again I love your reactions and especially with your pops and Chris Stapleton is the man for the generation in my opinion and blessings from Toronto to you and yours😊😊😊😊
I know he bought that old Gibson LG-2 for $300 all beat to hell but that instrument looks like it could tell some real stories about the last 60+ years. You got to appreciate a man who can see past the cosmetics and see something worth saving.
Young man, you tickle me so bad watching you, watch and listen to chris! Your body language is priceless! Mixture of pain and joy! Chris does that to folks. Pain in lyrics, joy in music and his delivery makes you ball up, prepare yourself and then wave a rag and rock back and forth or side to side. Just can't help it! Great reaction!
Chris delivers every time! Hey,if you want to hear a phenomenal lady who pours blues out of her soul, then give a listen to the studio version of Janis Joplin's song called CRY BABY! Make sure you have your rag in hand...You can thank me later...🎙😉🤯👊
This man is truly amazing. He can sing the phone book and make you wonder "where he comes from". This is a man's man, every woman's dream and heartache. Cannot box Chris in one pigeon hole, for he is the master of what he does best. Truly a entertain free to be reckon with.
Any Chris Stapleton fans have to check out it's a series called 10 Things I can't do without and if you didn't love Chris Stapleton before as a person you will fall in love with him not one thing was about money😊😊😊 that's the kind of thing he is about things that matter😊😊
Re: what genre he is: seems to me he's the genre of a man who lives for, with and in music, and is steeped in all his favorite music, which turns out to be country by birth, and the blues, soul, roots music and r&b by the force of love and gravity (with some pop, jazz and a few touches of other kinds of music showing up every now and then), all of it soaked deep into him so it can come out at just the right moment in just the right way. Also...when you were listing some of the things that make him so great, I had my hand raised to stick my two cents in. But since you never did call on me, I'll say it here: to my way of thinking, some other major factors in his greatness and what makes him stand above so many other talented singers and musicians are his authenticity/honesty, his lack of ego in that he never puts the music in service of showing off or wowing us with his abilities, etc; instead he puts his talent and abilities, ALWAYS, in the service of the music and what the music is saying/expressing; and his choices, which are always not only authentic, honest and in service to the music rather than to his ego, but also uncannily perfect musically and emotionally. It just floors me, the way his many hears of experience, his talent, his hard work at his art, the life he's lived, his ear, all the great music he's admired and soaked up, and so much else, unerringly lead him to do the most interesting, creative, powerful think in every moment and on every note, to max out every word, every note and every moment of silence between notes of every song. Hail Chris Stapleton, may he live forever and keep making music the whole time! And thank you, for being such a great reactor that this second journey I'm on through your reactions to him is just as much fun and as interesting as the first!
Your commentary is right on point! I appreciate your raw and honest reaction. I subscribed only because you get the message and appreciate the God-given talent of Chris Stapleton - a simple man with a heart full of soul.
He's a soul singer, but he's definitely singing the blues. It's all just flavored with country because he's a Kentucky boy. Makes it hard to put a finger on.
10:30 - My favorite part. "I ain't heard...maybe it's just the songs I heard. I ain't heard a country song yet. Call it what you want...the Tim McGraw's and all of that? I ain't heard that yet. This sound like some blues to me". Exactly. Me too, brotha 😂🤣!!
I have some suggestions for you if you haven't done them yet. Blow (Chris with Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars). Fool Me Again (it is a song from the past when he had shorter hair -live), Whiskey and You - Live, What are You Listening To - Live, You Should Probably Leave - Live, Death Row, Either Way - Live, Nobody to Blame - Live, If It Hadn't Been For Love (when he was with The Steeldriver's - Live), Devil Always Made Me Think Twice - Live and more that I can't think of right now.
you know what would be dope. Thinking out of the box, but I'm a music guy, Chris Stapleton and Bruno Mars on a collab would be killer. Might sound crazy but man
I told you in another video that you could be anthony hamilton's son you look like him so much in my opinion. Do you ever do any reactions of his because he's got some amazing southern soul. He has an amazing sense of humor and you really need to check out sister big bones. I just realized it had monique In the video rest in peace

I've watched many of your Chris Stapleton's video reactions and love your insight into his songs. It's true; sometimes we're not alright and we cry.

If you want to hear his wife try Amanda at the Grand Old Opry. She also does You are My Sunshine with Chris as back up.
That was a mic 🎤 drop right there
He's a soul singer, but he's definitely singing the blues. It's all just flavored with country because he's a Kentucky boy. Makes it hard to put a finger on.
Lol you right!
Here's something that's also shocking to me. In an 60 minutes interview, Chris said he listened to Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre.
Great reaction bro!!!
Thanks 💯
I was wrong is my favorite
I did it lol
He was in a radio station
10:30 - My favorite part.
"I ain't heard...maybe it's just the songs I heard. I ain't heard a country song yet. Call it what you want...the Tim McGraw's and all of that? I ain't heard that yet. This sound like some blues to me".
Exactly. Me too, brotha 😂🤣!!
Chris is so amazing! I don’t think of him as country. I see him as a man who can sing anything and make it his own
I have some suggestions for you if you haven't done them yet. Blow (Chris with Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars). Jelly Roll-Save Me, Sugarland-Stay. Bob Seger-Turn the Page are some artists to check out also.
Listen to him sing the thrill is gone by bb King and also Midnight Train to Memphis. Soooo Good !!!!
Have you listened to Marc Broussard? He is amazingly soulful like Stapleton. Very similar voices.
Check out Fool Me Again if you want to see a young Chris long before hevwas famous. Back when he was just a song writer. It's amazing!
❤❤❤
I would give you a suggestion. React to Homfree "Man of Constant Sorrow". They are an acapella group that is just amazing.
If you haven’t yet, you should check out Yebba My Mind, live at Sofar NY. You’ll throw shoes n shit 🤷🏻♀️ Love your reactions 🖤
you know what would be dope. Thinking out of the box, but I'm a music guy, Chris Stapleton and Bruno Mars on a collab would be killer. Might sound crazy but man
