    Waxmode! Appreciate the updates on the coatings. But that water behavior after all those months is crazy.. Wolfgang Uber is on the list.

    Informative video comparing the difference between one coat and two coats! Thinking about the spray sealants and spray waxes I’ve tried I find they all benefit from a second layer. The 2nd layer adds depth and durability so it’s usually worth the effort to apply a 2nd coat after the first coat has cured.

      Thanks Phil! Hey how is your bottle of the Uber Ceramic Spray Coating holding up? I had mine on the shelf inside and noticed the bottle had caved in on itself just from sitting, possibly outgassing some of the solvents in the formula.
      It wasn't as easy to work with the next time I pulled it out and so I think the shelf life can be a bit limited. Have you noticed this at all with yours? Hope you and Jessica are doing well!

      @@WaxMode oh wow. That’s weird. Haven’t noticed that with mine. We used it multiple times times and still enjoy using it. I have knocked the pump sprayer gunking up though. So that does need to be cleaned and dried out before another use. That is strange that it did that though. 🤔

    Great video again Waxmode. I love this product too. I applied two coats to my car 5 months ago and it's still going strong. I finished two coats today on my wife's car. That's a total of 4 coats over two cars and I have plenty of product left. I find WG SiO2 Waterless Wash to be a great maintenance product and TACSYSTEM 1-Step Master to be a great topper for this.

      Cheers JT, I appreciate the feedback! How was the recent application out of your bottle, did you notice any difference in how this applied to the paint? Last time I worked with this Uber CSC, didn't seem like it wanted to work in as well as when it was fresh. I'll be pulling it out again in the future to confirm if shelf life is limited.

      @@WaxMode thanks for the update. Yes, I agree with you. It's not bad but I noticed it wasn't as slick to apply and just a little bit more work to remove. I thought it was the difference of my cars finish vs my wife's. I baby mine quite a bit. I know it's not a garage temperature thing as I keep my products in the basement when not in use.

      @WaxMode  4 года назад

      Thanks Barry, you could definitely use the Wolfgang as a topper to the coating, although I still prefer to use lighter toppers on the coatings if they're still showing good performance. The first version of the Adam's Ceramic Spray Coating was a good performer as well, I never ended up grabbing the updated UV trace version or the Graphene one. Looking forward to seeing how the Graphene holds up for others until I get my hands on it.

    • @WaxMode

      What's up Hank! It's still going at a good level, slowing down on the upper crease section compared to below the crease. Still outpacing HS Ceramic Spray Coating, but even that still has a noticeable presence. Right at 7 months of total durability without toppers at 2 coats.

    I’m trying to find a good spray/liquid sealant for my base protection. I was gonna go with the Uber ceramic but it’s a little pricey for me. Do you have any recommendations for something that’s a little cheaper but still has great ease of use? I like to top products often so I’m not too worried about durability or hydrophobics as much. Btw the Megs HCD is a great topper! I got it thanks to your recommendation!

    • @WaxMode
      @WaxMode  4 года назад

      I still really like working with Power Lock for really good ease of use as a liquid sealant. Keep that topped up and you should get great performance. Griot's Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax is still a very impressive spray protectant, going over 7 months of durability out of two coats on the other test car without topping maintenance. Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating is another good performer, bit cheaper than the Griot's but still durable. There's a lot of good options out there that it's getting difficult to narrow them down.

    • @gaberivera7228
      @gaberivera7228 4 года назад

      WaxMode yessir! Love your recommendations as always. I think I actually might just go with a cheaper ceramic coating/ like cquarts lite or one of those more ceramic spray type coatings like TLC Black ice or something. I realized I’m so into car products and maintaining it that I might as well put the money down for a good quality coating.

      @@WaxMode i find the whole idea of water sheeting vs beading a bit silly, regardless of the products a light rain will make beads on your car, while a large amount is likely to sheet depending on some other factors of course

    Do you need to replace the sprayer after you use same as gyeon Cancoat? Which is better between these two spray coatings?

    • @WaxMode
      @WaxMode  3 года назад +1

      My sprayer is actually still in good shape with the Wolfgang, but I did hear from one that was using this that did have the sprayer end up going bad after a few months. Gyeon CanCoat is definitely more significant compared to the Wolfgang, and those sprayers will go toast really quickly so you need to clear those out after each use. CanCoat is still going to be able to hold up an even stronger hydrophobic behavior for the same timeframe, it's definitely a bit heavier than Wolfgang and you need to spend more time wiping CanCoat down while you're applying it. Wolfgang is still holding up well on this front bumper, but I consider CanCoat the stronger protectant and closer to a true paint coating.
