After nearly a year of floods my local national parks reopen for camping.
Join me as I camp at one of my favourite national parks & enjoy the beauty of nature around the campfire
💯 because you looked very relaxed mate. That video was the best half hour of my life so far, seriously soul soothing. Gee I love the bush! Was awesome to see you have some weight lifted off ya shoulders mate that’s for sure. Cheers 🍻🫡
I seriously didn't want to leave. I'm heading back again this weekend but may not even film this one. Just enjoy being back outdoors 👍
@@Campingdownunder bloody oth mate Paradise place, one day I’ll brave the cold down that way. It’s definitely a bucket list but I very much love me FNQLD heat haha 🥵I’m having to get around with a jumper now when the sun goes down 😂
Summer time here it's still in the high 30's at night. But winter does get cooler
Great video very relaxing to watch thanks 👍
That’s a big roast for one bloke, must off been hungry. Just luv the Murray amazing how tranquil the river is compared to last year’s floods. Keep up the good work 👍
I bought a big one on purpose so I could have it for work lunches during the week 😋
Top video mate. Very relaxing just watching LOL must have been so good for you my type of camping. Love it. Cheers.
Great concept and being from SA enjoy seeing local spots 👍🏼
AWSOME spot paul. I like your Your set up. Nice and easy. When I was at betts beach Echuca I loved the bird life there. The Maggie’s and Willy wagtails would come under the awning and camper trailer to get out of the rain and share my meals. Loved it.
It's so nice just listening to the bird's and relaxing 😀
I’m looking forward to next Friday for a 5 day solo on the Turon river safola. Not far from Bathurst. First time having a go at gold sniping. Check out tassie boys prospecting and you’ll see what I mean by sniping gold
Great vid Paul, one of the best yet I think👍.
Thanks mate I really appreciate it 👍 I'm planning on doing more of these in the future 😀
Great and very practical / organised setup mate !
Cheers mate it's not flash but it does everything I need it to do 👍
Definitely need more of these videos A1 mate keep it up! 🤙
Thanks mate I appreciate the feedback 👍
That night sky Timelapse 😍. You have to teach me your ways 😅
It took 3 hours for that single shot 🤣 come camping with me & I'll show you everything 👍
That was fair dinkum therapy i was born in SA but raised in Sydney so I am keen to see the countryside & winery region 👍🏼
Nice relaxing vid mate. Don’t forget the cheese out of your salad for bait 😂 and put the sinker on the bottom!! Love ya work 🙌
Crap I actually forgot I could have done that 🤣🤣🤣 thanks mate I'm planning much more in the future 👍
Great work mate 👍 keep it mixed up, camping, fishing and camp cooking. 🏕 I will watch every post. Cheers mate from the Lurg Hillbilly in Victoria. 👍🐕🤠
Thanks mate I appreciate it 👍
Mate absolutely loved it…well done..👍
Thanks mate 👍
Awesome river spot, favourite camping, I think viewers don’t need much talking on videos, we can c what your doing, cooking/set up etc, some sub titles now and then i# cool, I’ve noticed lot more creators going this way, I’m a fan, roast looked bloody yummy
Thanks mate I appreciate the feedback 👍 I actually enjoyed not needing to talk & think more about the shots. Letting the scenery set the mood without even needing music. Need to upgrade my microphone though. I have a $300 microphone with a wind sock but it still picks up the slightest bit of wind. So I was forced to dull the audio right down to try and remove the wind in post. I have a new mic on order but it's months away still unfortunately
Mate its good seeing ya back out there camping again. It beats being in the bush then stuck in a town or city.
How ever I was ment to do a vid for Easter long weekend but it turned out with shit weather and I
didn't have everything I needed with me to cook my food or that, But I reckon some of us will be there once or twice.
How ever This video was different to the others and i see you were much relaxed and happy, but holy cow the hight of that water mark would of been over ya ute too.
Cheers mate.
Nice vid , very calming 😊
bloody tops mate,the beautiful sounds
Thanks mate 👍
Non speaking videos are the best. You become part of the video. Good Job mate
such a peaceful place and peaceful video and the time lapse was so cool 😎
I'm glad you enjoyed it 👍 I didn't want to leave. I've missed the river so much. I could just lay there all day listening to the bird's. I'm hoping to get a lot more timelapses like that in the future 😍
@@Campingdownunder time lapse is awesome, I'd love to live there, never get sick of it, Like you said in a previous comment "there is something special about the Murray"
Love the way you're always having a beer 😂
Nice video, very refreshing
Thanks mate 👍
Very relaxed. Thanks buddy.
Glad you enjoyed it mate 👍
Also it’s good to see you having your morning coffee at the fire 😊😅
I actually gave them up for 3 weeks 🤣 but after staying up until midnight for that milky-way shot & getting up at 5am for the sunrise I needed one 🤣
@@Campingdownunder hahaha that’s fair enough!! Didn’t have anything to do with the scotch for lunch though…
Let's say there was just 1 scotch 🤣🍻
Nice starlapse mate. Just picked up my Insta360. Can’t wait to give it a go next week.
I was actually quite surprised how well the insta360 does with starlapse for such a small sensor. This one I filmed with a Canon 90d over 3 hours. Then combined over 800 photos into the video
That magpie was definitely a paid actor 😂
He worked for scraps 🤣
Nice man! Very satisfying filming these hey.
Cheers mate 👍 I had a lot of fun filming it. Totally different vibe to my normal videos. I'll definitely be making more in the future
Great vid Paul 👌
Moving up to waikerie soon so cant wait to go have a look👍
Thanks mate you'll love it here 👍
Great video, can't wait till I can get the family up the river again, we normally go to lyrup due to having a dog
Lyrup has that great grassed area 👍 I love camping in the Lyrup flats national park. There's some great campsites in there 👌
@@Campingdownunder lyrup flats national Park is our go to place
Nothing beats a chat either lol
Beautiful spot! Loved this - thanks.
Very nice spot mate never been there before.
Have you ever thought of Lindsay Island and exploring it there are a lot of awsum spots along the river to sit back and enjoy it
I have been there once but haven't explored much of it. I've been meaning to check it out more
I love the Murray i was brought up camping there , amazing all the other camping and travelling shows I watch rarely go there it's like they never herd of it and just drive past , gee I could spend the rest off my life just moving slowly along the Murray taking it in then there's the darling looking forward to seeing that iv never been up there , bloody beautiful mate 🍻
The Murray River definitely is special. Most people doing the lap just stick to the coastline and miss so many beautiful places they could be visiting
@@Campingdownunder that's it so bloody true mate they missing out on our Gold
I'm happy it's not overcrowded. They can stick to the beaches 🤣
Stunning River and video. What part of the river are you at? I normally go from Ulupna Island to Cobram. So peaceful and tranquil
Thank you 😀 it's katarapko Creek in the riverland south Australia
I cant normally watch ASMR videos for more than about 5 minutes, but I really enjoyed this one... probably because you also included commentary, which gives context. I'd be more than happy watch more of these if you enjoyed making this one!
I can't wait to get out for a camp on the river next weekend now!
I'm the same 🤣 I've tried watching a few different one's but get bored pretty quickly. But I understand how people use them to relax. It was actually a relief not having to talk for a change lol. I'll definitely be making more. So good to be back on the river 😀
Hey Paul them eggs were raw😂😂
👍🏻 Aussie 🇦🇺 On 👍🏻
Man this was great, please do more.
After these positive comments I think I'll definitely film more 👍
Great stuff Paul. How hard was it not to talk to the camera?
A few times it was incredibly hard & once I even had to edit out a few words I accidentally spoke 🤣 definitely a learning curve. But I enjoyed the challenge and especially the filming challenge of planning the best shots
Great utube chanel buddy, your truck is a 1989 petrol hilux, which i think it is, i might be wrong? I have a 1990 2.8 ltr Deisol which runs well i could give for spare parts.
What's with the whisky in the beer 😂
Do some proper Bara fishing mate... Lee South Africa
I hope you're alright, ol'mate, you looked a little down?
I was actually really happy to be back out camping 😀 it was just awkward to not talk on camera I'm so used to it 🤣 but appreciate the concern mate 👍
Should part slithers of lamb on your hook
Man of few words 🤷♂️
It's an asmr video. Your not supposed to talk in it. If you want talking feel free to check out any of the 104 videos 👍
@@Campingdownunder fair enough but you are a good talker on camera so would sooner the normal presentation style.
I would say do 1 talking and 1 silent.... See the response
