Brightness: Changes the gamma correction of the display, adjusting overall brightness. Only available in full screen mode.
Aspect Ratio: (Widescreen 16:10/Widescreen 16:9/Normal 4:3)
Resolution: (2560x1440/1920x1080/1600x900/1366x768/1360x768/1280x720/1176x664)
Display Mode: (Fullscreen Windowed/Fullscreen/Windowed)
Refresh Rate: (164hz/143hz/119hz/99hz/59hz)
Laptop Power Savings: In Power Savings Mode, the game intentionally runs at a low frame rate in order to preserve battery power, extending the amount of time that you can play on battery power.
Advanced Video Settings:
Boost Player Contrast: improves the legibility of players in low contrast situations. Enabling Boost Player Contrast can degrade graphics performance.
Wait for Vertical Sync: Verticle Sync is recommended for the smoothest experience. The Disabled setting may cause visual tearing.
Current Video Values Preset: The options are custom/very high/high/medium/low. Individual Preset Values.
Multisampling Anti-Aliasing Mode: Anti-aliasing provides a smooth appearance at the edges of geometry, eliminating jagged edges. Increasing anti-aliasing quality can degrade graphics performance. (MSAA 8x/MSAA 4x/MSAA 2x/CMAA2)
Global Shadow Quality: (Very High/High/Medium/Low)
Model / Texture Detail: The model / texture detail setting controls the resolution of textures and geometric complexity of models in the game. Decreasing this setting may improve performance on low-end systems, but will degrade image quality. (High/Medium/Low)
Texture Filtering Mode: Increasing the texture filtering setting improves the appearance of textures in the game. Increasing filtering quality can affect performance. (Anisotropic 16x/Anisotropic 8x/Anisotropic 4x/Anisotropic 2x/Trilinear/Bilinear)
Shader Detail: Shader detail controls the sophistication of the lighting and shading effects applied to surfaces in the game. Higher settings increase visual quality but can degrade graphics performance (High/Low)
Particle Detail: Particle detail controls the complexity of particle effects and whether particles cast shadows. Higher settings increase visual quality but can degrade graphics performance. (Very High/High/Medium/Low)
Ambient Occlusion: Calculate lighting using Ambient Occlusion. Enabling Ambient Occlusion can degrade graphics performance (High/Medium/Disabled)
High Dynamic Range: High Dynamic Range (HDR) controls the range of brightness between the brightest and darkest pixels. Choosing Performance decreases the quality HDR rendering but potentially increases performance and reduces GPU memory use. (Quality/Performance)
FidelityFX Super Resolution: FidelityFX Super Resolution may improve performance by rendering at reduced resolution and upscaling using a high-quality spatial technique. (Disabled (Highest Quality)/ Ultra Quality/Quality/Balanced/Performance)
NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency: NVIDIA Reflex is used to reduce system latency which increases PC responsiveness. Boost mode includes techniques that may draw more power to the GPU and slightly impact FPS to reduce latency as much as possible. (Enabled + Boost/Enabled/Disabled) Хобби

Bro no one cares about yo non partnered 10 view streams, you are never gonna gain an audience from your personality it’s been 8 YEARS!
Keep grinding pewdiepie, maybe one day you can break 50 viewer on twitch (but I highly doubt it) LOL!
i like how he gets straight to the point of the video. This is one of the best cs2 videos i ve found on the internet! I want to see more videos !!
Thanks mister Zaymex!
I have watched like 8 videos. This performs the best. (I know my specs and the youtubers specs limitation but they said bad settings) this one actually works and i dont feel like i wasted a lot of time from my life.
Y're the goat man. Not even the content of your video, but rather showing examples and how the advanced videos settings works. Thx.
Straight to the point and fun knowledge sharing , Thank you ❤
Night and day difference! I now have confidence peaking people instead of afraid that my game is going to stutter whenever coming in contact with an enemy player. Thank you so much for making this video!
which setting caused the stutter?
@@runcsi100 Not sure which one setting it was being I changed everything to what this video said pretty much. My friend asked me the same thing when I told him my shit was fixed.
short fast and direct i like u ty mate ❤
You NEED Global Shadow on high to see dynamic shadows (for example in front of lights on ancient) - NEVER on low - ALWAYS ON HIGH!
You can put it on low and change in config to still see shadows but in lower quality and you get better fps and can still see shadows
@@Ba-bm1lpu got the command for the Console bro?
@@larata8565 imagine dropping a "solution"... without the solution...
@@larata8565 search "cs2 high shadow afap" and click first link
@@Ba-bm1lp how?
Best vid on optimal cs setting thankyou mate
Spotlight shadows such as in the temple on ancient or the work lights near ct spawn on vertigo arent visible on lower shadow settings, these give much higher competitive advantages compared to ambient occlusion.
Anisotropic on bilinear looks pretty bad in some cases (most noticeable while moving and looking at the walls on office)
Higher values such as 16x anisotropic also have a significant fps impact when theres a lot of water in the area, such as ct spawn on anubis.
Thanks for letting me know about the shadows! I'll make a note and look into it when I'm working on an update
@shogoz what resolution do you play at? And do you use upscaling
I love this guy 🤣🤣🤣.. this video is all I need to get what i needed in my settings. Thank you so much.
very detail explaint, thank you so much !
Great work my guy now we need to know more about like launch options and console commands :D
great vid bro, thx!
This was a great video love the jokes really great stuff keep up the good work. Thankyou
wow what a great video thank you so much
3:35 Wow I didn't knew those Medium or High textures could tank the FPS that much. I thought these only affect the VRAM usage though. My whole life was a lie. This is by far the best optimized settings video for CS2 I have seen. I can't stand the shimmering look though so 2x MSAA is the way to go although I'm not really a big fan of MSAA in general.
Thank you for your kind words! I was surprised too about the medium and high textures tanking the fps - I'm glad I came across Dexerto's post on Reddit.
good video, st8 to the point, well done visuals, a very honest benchmarking, thank you
Thanks a lot!! :D
0:57 vsync is a nice compromise between a stable frametime and a smoother experience (yes cs2 is right, because smoothness =/= response time). Also, a stable frametime will help you get used to a specific timing behaviour for your entire experience on the game. In his testing you can clearly see that on the right you have a less stable frametime. That, even if lower, will cause a less predictable behaviour on average, which is not good from a competitive standpoint. Best thing to do here if you want a great competitive experience is to disable vsync and manually cap the framerate to an amount that is affordable for your specs in every situation, the better if matches the current refresh rate of your monitor.
In general, having an absurd amount of fps doesn't help you that much apart from input lag if you can't see the rendered image in time due to a poor monitor responsiveness.
60Hz monitor -> image gets refreshed once every 17ms~
100Hz monitor -> once every 10ms~
144Hz monitor -> once every 7ms~
1000Hz monitor (lol) -> once every 1ms~
If you have a 100Hz monitor and have 300 fps, guess what, the image is still displayed at 100Hz, hence at 100 images per second. You used 200 fps to gain tearing and a generous 7ms advantage. To me, that's not worth it. Try it yourself and you'll how smoother the game is even if at a lower framerate.
BRO THANKS FOR ALL OF THIS I WILL LIKE AND SUBS,
great vid, no extra bullshit, well explained. Easily one of the best tutorials for graphics so far
great video bro
The Myth, The Legend, The Goat has finally returned.
Also could you also do one on HELLDIVERS 2 ? Idk if you played that game but if you do please make a best settings video on that as well. Appreciate all the videos that you upload brother.
Bruh take my huge like for the quality of this vid
Thank you so much. I built a PC 6 days ago and I copied the settings of Elige and his Texture filtering mode settings is bilinear but after watching your video just an hour ago i changed it to AF 16X and the difference is night and day! And there is no FPS drop which is crazy. I'm not sure if Elige is still playing on the same settings and if he's, somebody tell him about texture filtering mode or send this video to him. 🤣
Väry good mi friend works perfekt whalla 😊
bro love you thank you i was wondering what those settings do and on top of that I got some fps thnx bro !!
Eyyyy :D I'm glad I was able to help you out!
Can you do a nvidia settings video for the new nvidia app?
Thanks
Most people don't use bi/trilinear for FPS but to simplify the game to make it easier to focus.
I've watched atleast 30 of these videos and this one is BY FAR the best, thank you for actually testing every setting and showing the fps, helped alot!
PS: Can you make an updated video on NVIDIA Control Panel settings? :)
Thank you so much! The next video I upload will definitely be a Nvidia Control Panel update :D
Also a question, cant find anything on the internet: if my pc is CPU limited, is there a reason to lower my video settings? (I have them mosly on low with some exceptions), i mean, does my CPU also get any load from my video settings? Thank you
The CPU reduces loading times and helps share the load with the GPU when you're in a game but it's definitely more important for your GPU to be beefier because as you can see in the benchmarks the GPU is around 90-98% utilised at all times while the CPU stays around 20-30% utilised. I'm on a non bottleneck setup - my GPU and CPU are pretty much on the same level as each other according to Time spy in 3DMark (a hardware benchmarking tool). Hopefully that helps a little :D
on plus boost just makes your gpu run in p state 0 so it wont downclock. If you already have your gpu on pstate 0, just put it on enabled
Curios may b bosst contra adds input lag?
You just earned a sub my man
Amazing Video ❤❤ Helped me alot in terms of fps
I just have one question all the competitive players out there use these settings which you recommended ?
Ambient occlusion is actually a good setting on maps like nuke you see the shadow of people because of it pretty often.
Only map I use it for
you should have shadows on high, there are spots where it gives you an advantage.
All setting are good maybe the best video i have watched with benchmarks but when i disable Vsync game is really unplayable i fell like is shuttering and im playing like with 30 fps so i got it on
thanks for the video
You're welcome!! :D
thanks
Another banger, see you guys on the next video around Q2 2025
thanks.
Thank you bro these settings are really amazing for fps i noticed some improvement from valve too.
On some training maps im getting almost close to 950 fps and in premier around 550-650 fluctuating.
You're welcome! HOLY... what GPU do you have :o
@@shogoz bro I’m using :-

Dude 4070 is awesome I wish I had one :o I was looking forward to Alan Wake 2 cuz I played the original on Xbox 360 but I couldn't even run Alan Wake 2 with everything on low. Hopefully I'm able to get one sometime this year. I hope you have a great week dude! Thanks again!
Damn bro, good video. I like your cartoon voice too.
I appreciate it Brendy! For some reason people think I sound like Morty :o
increased my fps by 40-50.@@shogoz
That's awesome!!! :D
thanks 🤙
Welcome!!!
Could someone tell me what's covered in the book 'The Fundamentals of Counter Strike 2'?
I've heard it delves deeply into the strategy and psychology behind the game. I'm curious to know if it also covers team tactics and how to improve individual performance. Has anyone had the chance to take a look? I'm thinking about buying it and wanted to know if it's worth it.
outstanding video
nice video
hey man, this is a good video....wish I would have seen it like 3 months ago when I gave a shit about winning in a game that i didnt know had so many cheaters in it
Thanks a lot dude! Hopefully they get rid of the cheaters but I doubt they will unfortunately :/
Great video. Control panel 2024👀?
HDR on performance creates a filmgrain effect, so having it on quality can help visibility
We could not really see that in his picture comparison, looked the same, care to show an example?
@shogoz great video! Question: How do i know which one is the strongest, if my CPU or GPU? in regards to nvidia reflex, thank you
There exist some "harware bottleneck" testers around the net.
Us one of those with your current setup. It'll tell you wheter cpu/gpu is the bottleneck-> which one is better
Reflex not working :p
O anti aliasing 2xmsaa serve demais pra vertigo. Quando voce esta de TR e olha por baixo da grade da subida pro bomb B você consegue enxergar o CT que fica no escanteio ou able J. E as sombras é obrigatório estar em high pois em certos locais so mostra a sombra do oponente nesse modo
so I have a wuestion....I see some gpu review'rs making videos where they talk about vram filling up and spilling over into system ram....what dat mean
Sorry dude not sure because it's the first I've heard of it
Bro is back
Welcome back ZCoyln 😍
GOAT
Jooo thanks from 120 average fps to 220 fps is crazy 🎉
does anyone know the fix to vsync off feeling like 60 fps even though im easily getting 200+???
Check your monitor refreshrate in windows settings or nvidia control panel
You should put shadows on high so you can see other peoples shadows from distance
😂
Please make another Nvidia Control Panel settings video
Heeee's baaaack
make another tutorial nvidia settings for performance/quality. Thanks, have a nice day
I'll make that the next video. It's about time I update it!
joever isn't on the menu, we bac
Nvidia tutorial update with comparisons? (there are new settings introduced & that's why it would be a good idea)
also: For the algo!
Thank you for the suggestion! The next upload will be an updated Nvidia Control Panel video :D
maaan, thx for video but also need to know difference between resolution/ 1920 vs 2560/ can you do this?
Good suggestion! I'll cover it when I update the video
We need an update to the control panel been years 😭😭
Yo can you make settings for DOTA 2?
This guy made me get smoot fps ty (i no sure this will work for someone
Dude you're good at making videos. Have you ever thought about making gaming videos of any kind I think it would work out for you.
Thank you dude! I really used to love making gaming videos but then I stopped because seemed to appreciate tutorials more. Really miss the gaming videos though honestly.
I've seen a lot of FPS recommendation videos but this one is by far the most accurate and informative i've seen for CS2. Very good job! Subbed! :)
We need an updated Nvidia control panel video!!
the new smoke update broke the game, it look weird and huge fps drop when going in the smoke or near it
i was a shogoz fan before he uploaded but now im straight up an air conditioner 😍
Please do windows optimazation next
Hey shogoz i decided to buy new pc soon i5 10th gen with rx 6600 is it okay?
Sounds fine but ask the Easter bunny for a Nvidia GPU
I’ve got 6600. If you want to play CS2 don’t buy AMD graphics.
MY GAME FEELS 1000% smOOTHER THABK YOU!!!
Hdr on performance adds a bit of grain in my game at least
can you make an updated one
Have they added new settings?
i have a 144hz monitor but i still enable vsync cause screen tearing is HORRIBLE, even on my friends 360hz monitor, screen tearing is unbearable
Variable Refreshrate would be a better choise. Vsync will give you about 15ms input delay
6:00 spat out my water lmao
lol!
Can you make a new Video about Nvidia driver settings? That would be great 👍
Tbh I finally feel like updating it. I think I'll make that the next video 🎅
If you have proper GPU those doesn't matter. You need to adjust GPU settings for the specific game. In game -set everything to high/ultra and just pick your colour/gamma/brightness choice.
CS2 is a bit of a mess atm as it's not a real new game, but just failed attempt to upgrade CS:GO from Valve (as usual)...
HDR on good screen will give you massive visual improvement on g9 neo (over 2000 dimming zones) literally i can't look at game wo hdr. But on my friend screen hdr makes visuals even worse (he have 20-30 dimming zones)
Also if you record with hdr expect to have recording super bright and bad looking coz to my knowledge no recording software supports it
Big video
blud is back hell ye
Game is heavily engine limited though, valve needs to fix performance issues.
Agreed! Very unoptimised atm
question is your fps locked to 300? lol
tracers are so big and blurry when using model low, even blood when you hit someone is so blurry and it messes your crosshair vision man.
Well for me in cs, vsync actually makes the game SO MUCH smoother. WIthout it cs2 looks like its on 60hz... average 250 fps but the 1% and 0.1% are constant at 30 fps like wtf
competitive faceit mfers need high shadow settings
I bought a new budget PC. AMD RX 6600 (8GB) + Ryzen 5 5500. I can’t even play a Deathmatch, because I’m getting 90 FPS. It’s really bad at a 170 Hz monitor.
Lol same here, I have a Ryzen 5 5600x and an RtX 3070 and I get 200 max at 1280*960 that is 4:3....even after having a 3070. On Val I get 400 + on the same settings...this game is fucked....better give this game a bad rating and play other games
@@iaintidle8141 I tried to play 4:3 stretched, but I didn't even notice any performance or fps increase. I have the same FPS with 16:9 1080p. This is the weirdest thing that I ever experienced.
5600X w/ RTX2070 Black and i never fall under 200FPS. Solid 250-300 fps on 1080 16:9 with middle settings on certain advanced video. Of course depending on the map, fps fluctuates but never to the point where it would hurt you or unplayable. I truly feel windows 11 helped majorly in performance overall also.
@@iaintidle8141
Your pfp is so cute
Yours is too 😍
You sound a little like Morty lol
The tearing is so terrible without vsync man, I gotta get a new monitor.
Took me ages to be able to afford one so I completely understand. If you're after a recommendation - I bought an LG 27GP850-B 27" 165Hz QHD UltraGear Gaming Monitor recently when it was on special and love it. You could also look at DisplayNinja.com which is what helped me choose my monitor. The information on there is really good.
@@shogoz thanks for the info
cmaa2 and shadow quality in low is not good, 4x msaa and shadow quality in medium is the best
Wazzzzzz uuuuuupppp

I will be back here next month when I burry my pc with gtx1060 and get rtx4070
