    That's funny he was talking about a crank failure and he just flexed his crank super hard and took his bearings out and had to put a new short block in it at fl2k in Garretts shop.. obviously he knew they were close to that limit

      Yea it was ok at 2500 hp. 3000 hp not so much. The limit of the stock boss crank is towards 3k hp So wild.

    Great Thumbnail idea!
    Take photos of the Cars your guests own and integrate them into the thumbnail! There is so many awesome cars a lot of us recognize, but sometimes don’t know the names of the man/women behind the wheel! Would be a great way to create some more connection and bring in more viewers Coop!

    A suggestion:
    I'm not familiar with many of the people you interview but I may know the car if I see it because I watch a lot of competition videos. Perhaps somewhere in your video you could insert a clip of the car in action. It would help to understand what you're talking about.

    Brett Lasala and that car in general is a legend. Most people didnt even know its the same mustang before being green that Joel Steele broke the record and became the first H pattern domestic stick car in the 6s. it started life as a Red boss s197 Joel street drove then street raced then went big. We all wondered what it would do with a auto. Then Brett gets it and the car is up there competeing with custom big block SMX cars and actually outlasting some amd beating big blocks with a coyote

    The Southern California Timing Association that was created by Wally Parks and was the precursor to the NHRA actually held their very first event at Bonneville with the Santa Ana drag way opening the following year. I've loosely followed it over the years and there seems to be a bit of a resurgence in recent years. This year Alex Taylor did a series of videos on her RUclips channel about her going through the licensing to get her AA license (Speeds of over 250 mph). She ran 226 mph to get her A license but the car broke on her AA licensing pass.

    You can tell cooper is has never done a dull swap and actually made things work. You lose power windows by getting rid if your engine harness? Hell you can run stock gauge clusters these days still while running holley. The gm pcm doesnt read a wideband so thats where it sucks, the coyote pcm has factory wideband where you can just get a datalog from somewhere else and look at fuel trims and make adjautments accordingly.

    • @BogettiStudios
      @BogettiStudios  11 месяцев назад +2

      It all depends on the car, my mustang i put the LS in has power windows. But these guys rewire everything from body control to engine harness. It’s about how you do it can save a lot of weight redoing all of it.

      Usually but don't forget he blew his engine up and Cleetus let him put his new one in at his shop.. you still have time to erase that lol jk it's a hell of an impressive car mullet broke his rear end and had the wrong rear end in his race in the finals so I didn't think he had much of a chance anyway but still the two cars I like seeing in the finals every time

      @@freedomfox8183 I don’t care about the circumstances.
      Pound for pound, the Coyote engine is just better.
      That’s my point.
      And I’m sure Cleetus wouldn’t care if he blew his engine, if he had won FL2K..Maybe Cleet can now go get a 11.0L SMX engine next(if they make one), and try to take 500lbs. out of his long wheelbase vehicle to run with cars powered by a engine almost half its displacement
      🤷‍♂️
      Good racing that night either way
