I understand that you have to clean, test, and process stuff in order to sell it for a profit and pay fees and shipping. I do the same thing myself, however my collection does come first reguardless of the value. You could have paid that lady the $400 and knew you were going to atleast double up even if half of the stuff didn't work. I guess I'm just too much of a softie to lowball people that bad. Granted I don't pay full price ,but I throw out reasonable offers for stuff lol. Good finds though, that is a collector and reseller's dream yardsale. Her sons are going to come back and be pissed that all their games are gone 😂.

There's a difference between scoring deals and robbing people. Just one example: kid says $25 for an N64 and you offer $10, settling on $15 when you know even if it doesn't work the expansion pak is worth 3X that.
I think it depends on the situation. When I first started reselling I watched video's and thought wow if I found somthing that good I would have gave them more. Then after awhile my opinion changed. Theres certain scenarios that I still think are rediclous. There was a video I watched couple years ago when I first started reselling that still sticks with me. The guy went to a sale and it was a old poor disabled woman. And she had a ton of collectibles and expensive Pokemon cards and she said her old roommate had a little shop and they shared a storage unit. The shop closed her roommate put all his stuff in the storage unit then ended up moving away and leaving all his stuff behind. It sat in there for years untell she eventually couldn't pay rent for the storage unit anymore. So she had a garage sale with the stuff and the RUclipsr was grabbing up litterally thousands worth of old dungeons and dragons unpainted figures and Pokemon cards ect. And he was talking her down when she kept saying she didnt know the value of anything and giving him super cheap prices and he still like "100. How bout $80?" When he was making thousands and she was a nice disabled lady who seemed to really need the money. That's really not cool to me. But most garage sales I go to dont seem to be that kind of situation.
I like how this lady is bringing you handfuls of games and consoles and you don’t even offer to help her clear her hands, you just sit there and watch as she juggles all that stuff. Manners.

Chase after the right price for instance always tell the buyer the value if they tell him they don't know and he was able to make a huge business from reselling video game and still makes a massive profit it pays to be nice.

To offer $200 and then haggle even when she comes back with a more than fair offer at $400 I feel was really getting petty. Plus I feel it is important to build relationships as well. I just had someone text me back with a big buy when I made a reasonable offer on some items she pulled out for me already on the initial day of the sale.

As long as he helps people out with discounts vs other sellers and gives to the homeless and at church then no need to trip on him. If you want great deals like hes getting then wake up early and put the grind in brother. Just because he shows sweet things doesnt mean they fell into his lap. It takes work to find the deal, beat the competition, know whats good, put gas, put in time, clean things, pictures, listing, offering a forced 60 day return policy and profit brother. #SpreadTheWord ! 😎
