if anyone who are going to visiting those area, please go there during weekdays, not weekend. Usually there are a lot of protest, so it's not the perfect timing to feel the old seoul vibe.
The lanterns at Jogyesa at night are so beautiful if you ever get to see them! I lived North of Seoul (Suyu station) and in the Gangnam area. I think I loved living in Suyu area the most. It had so much!
Sooo beautiful! It so made me want to BE THERE. I could just feel the spring breeze on my face, and the warmth of the sun, and the burn of the hills in my thighs as I walked the streets. I’m pushing the back end of my 60’s, so perhaps the hills would have done me in-LOL. It was so gratifying watching my favorite RUclipsrs experience it first hand. Sarah and Kyuho, thank you for taking us along. It would have been more relaxing for you, no doubt, to just enjoy the day without having to think and plan how to film it for us, but I’m so thankful you did. Your smiles are worth a million bucks! Sarah, if the pleasure you two bring your subscribers could be translated into a major lottery win, you’d already have your fantasy hannok in the perfect Seoul location.
It's amazing that in MY lifetime, I went from seeing South Korea go from poverty in the 1960's to immense wealth beyond anyone's imagination, in just one generation. The transition has been nothing short of a miracle. A miracle that cost the lives of millions and millions of Koreans and some Americans who gave up their lives to fight for South Korea's independence. That's why every time I watch something about Korea, I will never stop being shocked.
The food looks amazing I think the Korean culture has taken over a bit in Australia since Netflix started all the Korean movies and such I have a friend who even had to visit Seoul after seeing a movie just so she could find the coffee shop. I’m loving seeing around the little coffee shops so many I could probably count on one hand how many our town has very uninspiring.. hopefully we will see some pop up here in our town…. Nice jobs guys…
Today's vlog was full of beauty! From the fully bloomed Cherry blossoms to the amazing looking baked goods and the colorful lanterns. Also the cute 한옥 houses you visited. Perfect way to celebrate reaching 200k 😊 It took my mind off the ice storm we got hit with a few days ago that caused massive power outages for over 1 million households in the region. It took 2 and a half days to come back at my house, it was a boring Easter weekend I tell you 😅
Beautiful scenery and those lanterns! Is Seoul really as clean as it looks?I’m from Halifax,NS and you know how dirty it looks here after the snow melts lol Seoul is really a beautiful city!
Well, I just saw my homeland's flag at the 2:20 mark. I honestly never thought I would see that in Seoul. As a Portuguese Canadian, I'm thrilled. I so look forward to watching your videos every week. I hope to one day visit SK, but until then, I can visit through your eyes.
So enjoyed your video this morning. As we celebrate Easter, the cherry blossoms reminded me of new beginnings. Such beautiful places. Loved your dream Sarah. Building something like that would be wonderful and amazing. Such a beautiful place.
I love that the cinnamon rolls don’t have any icing on them. Maybe it’s not too sweet? Korea seems to have the best cafes ever. And the scenery- just breathtaking. It seems like you guys can find something to highlight regardless of season or location. Oh my goodness- Ponyo. My kids loved that movie.
In my next life I will be able to eat more gluten as the cute bakery sign suggests! The baked goods looked sooooo delicious. Such beautiful lanterns, wow!
Today marks 1 year since I was in Gyeongju trying on hanbok for the first time with friends and just walking around town and hitting up spots like Cheomseongdae, Donggung Palace, and Daereungwon. Cherry blossoms everywhere and a bunch of traditional hanok-style buildings, it was SO surreal since I'd been dreaming of being in Korea for a while before that. I wish I could go back every single day.
Beautiful! Always fun looking at the traditional buildings if Seoul. I thought that beef and rice looked familiar. A few years ago when we were in Tokyo, the place we stayed had the same type of thing offered as breakfast, minus banchan of course. It was so bomb too!
I love it when you explore like this and find hidden gems and neighborhoods ❤ my husband and i allways do, the same when we travel or go to different cities.
Such a beautiful area. I looked out this morning, and Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom on our street. Thank you for sharing. The colors of the lanterns are amazing.
Wish I knew about Buam-dong last week when we were visiting beautiful Seoul! (But thanks to you, my Vessis travelled with me!) Always enjoy your vlogs but I think this is my first time commenting. 💕
Ha! I just bought Kyoho’s favourite tea at 5:54 on a whim at a T&T in Ontario. It was really tasty!! Such a lovely video by the way. CONGRATULATIONS ON 200,000 SUBSCRIBERS!!!
OMG 200.000 subscribers! And to think that I've been here since just before one hundred thousand subscribers... I'm so happy for you guys! You deserve all the success!
Well I'd take a lot at the bakery too 😂🙈 (also the fallen cherry blossom on the shoe? How precious 🥺💙✨) Also I approve Sarah's lottery winner plan too 😂😺😏😉
Love these walks ! By the way, I think at 05:23 when Kyuho is walking in that alley, it is the same location they filmed So Ji-sub in "A Company Man" 회사원 (2012).
The thumbnail design is sooo pretty and Scoff should've sponsored this video🤣 I like the ㅁ shaped Hanok too. I recently saw Mejoo&Cats built a house with a private ㅁ shaped garden. So jealous!
Collabing with Scoff would be an absolute dream 😍 And yes! The ㅁ shaped hanok has been an all-time favorite. Can’t even imagine how much it would cost to build one in Seoul 🥲
Loved LOVED this video!! I love it when you guys show us different areas of Seoul. Thank you so much for this beautiful post ❤ Congrats on 200k!! Only wish the best for you two❤❤
One of my favourite days in Seoul was visiting a neighborhood very similar to this while the blossoms were out as well. Just a residential area with hanoks, old and new ones. I even saw a carpenter working on a new one. Same as Sarah, I thought wow I wouldn't mind living here in a modern hanok. It surprised me how quiet that neighbourhood was while so close to the hustle and bustle of the city. It's the perfect location. Thank you for reminding me of that day. It gave me a lot of joy☺️
I love your outing vlogs…. Super chill and relaxing, not to mention the sights are absolutely gorgeous. Thank you Kyuho and Sarah. Congrats also for hitting 200k
My husband and I are moving to Seoul in July. Moving countries is exciting but so stressful, and it comes with so many uncertainties. Your videos are helping us with the transition. I am looking forward to exploring the city and have already bookmarked so many places based off your videos 😊
Congrats on 200K! Thanks for the beautiful adventure....I'm with you on that beautiful traditional style home...my favorite. Those desserts look amazing too....I've never seen anything in the States that compares with Korean pastry. Hugs from Ohio!

Woah, thank you 😳 I’m definitely more of a ‘simple, classic pieces that go with anything’ person, so I’ve never thought my style was anything special. I may do a mini segment sometime within a vlog ☺️
Wow it's so pretty. That Chocolate Cake looked so good. I notice there was Jam in a Jar with the red/White Plaid Lid. That is such good Jam. Bonne Maman it's French. We buy it here in Canada. Those cakes and pastries look so good.
