Thank you George for transporting me to some grand ballroom, with enormous chandeliers and candlelight that flickers on the walls bathing all in soft shadows, and where the ladies are attired in those marvellous dresses with hair adorned with fine combs. They are being swept around the room by young men desperate to make an impression. So much fun and energy.

Albert Hall just doesn't have the unique atmosphere of that street corner....
Also, the pianos are not of that same unique quality.....
You may be right! But the Albert Hall is easier to find than a street corner ! George is a genius wherever he plays!

This gives the piece almost a sort of romantic lush, with the kind of quirks and improvisations put in this. Such a wonderful version of this transcription.

Ah, George, my friend. It’s Richard. Good morning. I have never heard Die Fledermaus played on the Pianoforte before, and maybe my loss. But this was brilliantly executed, brilliantly written and most importantly, brilliantly and last but not at all the least, played. It was pure delight-I felt like a child tasting his first piece of chocolate for the first time and oh, so enjoying it. Absolutely compelling. Now, since I had never heard it played on the pianoforte, I have to ask, if you will excuse by idiocy, did you compose this particular composition for the piano? If so, certainly no one could have done better. Or, perchance, did Strauss write this version for the piano? Thanks for uploading this and the others the past weeks. The have been a joy. I believe this should be your #1 encore piece for all concerts. Everyone will go wild.

Where did you learn to play? Who put the basis for you and later who had the greatest impact on you? I'm really curious. I always search the meaning and the virtuosic elements in the music and rarely I found it here in your play. You had so much expression and knowledge in it.

You are getting to be an ‘old’ man. Haha! Well, not really. I wouldn’t want to go back to that age, but if I were nearly 20 and knew what I know now, I would certainly live parts of my life differently-but you, my friend, seem to be doing everything right simply because you were blessed with a talent not given to most people AND you have people around you not stifling that talent but promoting it. Many people have talents that go wasted for various reasons. Keep up the good work.

Wow George,did you write the description in the Indonesian language yourself? It was very well -written compared to some stuff written by native Indonesians which border on the colloquial so it makes it harder for our educated minds to grasp.
I write/speak a very educated version of the Malay language but I can read and understand the Indonesian language.
It's good your mother taught her children her language. Do not ignore your unique heritage.
