J Dilla- Much More is a beat that I am super familiar with because Lupe Fiasco used it on the Revenge of the Neds Mixtape he did years back. Just shows how deeply rooted Dilla was in the world of Hip-Hop
If it is indeed a direct sample I am VERY curious about how he did it. I took a few cracks at it and I have no idea how he got the end result! Crazy stuff
haha I love how youre nearly always picking those tracks I tried to wrap my head around or I just love. For the Love it Here Beat there is a nice version on an Elzhi Mixtape, which he performed live. Never heard the track before. We only found the track after the concert cause I had the Smokey LP at home and it sounded fimiliar to me... I was blown away by the beat and Elzhis energy on it. You can find it on RUclips. Definitely worth checkin out if you haven't heard the track before. And that Beat with the Look of Love Sample is killing me since I first heard it, too.... That bass line... And how he flips the strings to give the track more heat. Shit I get goosebumps all the time
Your videos are the best about sampling learning and sampling culture … ✌️ You have so much my respect for your work !!! I’m going to share it to all my Beatmaking communities now ! 🤯 I don’t know the time you need for … Have you already think to put a link to support financially your work Narokx? 🤷♂️ I send to you all my best vibes ✨ PeaceUp ! 😉✌️
Thanks for the comment! It is really motivating, since yeah... the financial part it is still a struggle. I'm working hard to change that, but it will still be a struggle for a while! I have a Patreon, link in the description of most of my videos. I think RUclips has a way to support creators directly but I never used it.
@@Narokx thanks. Someone has suggested I try something new with my videos visually so I was trying to get some ideas. I like the waveform capture, similar to what Tracklib do.
It is a pain to edit. After a year and a half I've becone quite good at it, but the cost benefit is still not worth it. Imma still do it in 2023, but waaay less. I'm tryna evolve my content, always pushin :)

Greatest of all time
undisputed
That Airworks chop was some mad scientist shii right there😮💨 Dilla is a GOAT man🤦🏽♂️
Might take the cake as the craziest sample flip of all time
@@Narokxface to face by daft punk would like to have a word with you.
The UFO sample on Let's Ride is direct, not replayed. People misunderstood what Dilla was saying in that interview.

thanks Narokx 👌💯
I won't do it, but it would be hella gratifying to do his whole discography... no way I could tho... too much work
Nice video. What software are you using to create these videos?
Hey! I use a combination of FL Studios and all the editing technique I can muster on Premiere Pro
I like your channel btw !

How you edit like this
Blood sweat and tears
But really, it is just a combination of simple editing techniques I learned through the last 6 years
