I agree, it’s an extremely good tyre at everything. If you don’t mind the extra weight and very slight increase in height/width, you could go with the 265/60r18 119 load rating which is LT and 10ply equivalent - if you can find any that is! Thanks for the videos, keep them coming!
Hi Thank you for the comments and I will be increasing the tyre size when I next replace them. Please consider subscribing to the channel if you haven't already. Regards Peter.
My plow truck a 7500lb 3/4 ton, that’s probably 8500 with the plow and some sand in the back, came with these that were more worn beyond where these are. 15,000 miles later I’m getting another set today simply because mine won’t last the winter. They aren’t dead yet. I plowed 6” of damp snow last week without issue.
Thanks for the video. Just put them on my Discovery 4. Replaced Grabber GTs. I'm so far happy that no huge increase in noise and definitely more traction than the GT tyre it replaced. Looks a lot better than the GT too!
Hi, thank you and I am pleased that you found it informative. As a good general AT they are a good investment. Just cautious of the sidewalls if going off road especially if airing down. I have driven with these covering upto 600 miles a day on trips in Europe and they hold up well. Please give me a thumbs up on RUclips in you enjoyed the video. I also did a video on the Bearmach fridge freezer which you might find useful too. Regards Peter.
Hey Thankyou for the review . Exactly what I’ve been trying to find out. No one else has talked about how many ply the side walk is but others have said that they have Punctured the side wall when I had let the tyres down and went rock hopping. So I’ve decided I won’t be buying any of these as I’m about to do a trip to Cape York the top of Queensland Australia and I need five tiles that have strong side walls that are gonna get me there thank you very much

I've just put a set of these on my 2007 Grand Cherokee SRT8 (275/45/20's). Purely for the aesthetics as I like the chunky look. SRT8's aren't off roaders of course.
Good choice of tyre. Mine have been on for over 25,000 miles and although worn, they still have many more miles left on them. They have undertaken heavy off road use on dusty and rocky terrain.
Hi I have now covered 30,000 miles on this same set of tyres and have found no difference in the wet or dry roads compared to the factory tyres fitted. I have used these on long continental trips around Europe and the UK on road, dirt tracks and steep rock faces and on snow. They are a good all round tyre. There only down side is in soft wet mud where they do not clear the mud from the tread that well
Hi good video, I've had these recently fitted to my Tiguan. They look awesome but getting vibration at motorway speeds, have you or other tubers had this or am I unlucky enough that the person balancing these didn't do a good job, initially he said he wasn't going to balance them at all. Any ideas ?
Hi, thank you for your comment about the video. I would take the car back and have the wheels rebalanced. I have now covered many thousands of miles on these tyres. I often drive on the Continent to the South of France and Spain on motorways and have never had any vibration so I would say its either balancing or a worn component on the car. Mostly likely balancing if the vibration was not there before. Regards Peter
Hi there is no real noticeable noise over that of the scorpions which are fitted as standard. If I recall there was 1db difference between the GGAT3 and the Scorpion AT .
Hi, Looking at replacing the Pirelli Scorpians on my LR4. 90% certain that ill be getting them as all ive found are positive reviews and comments however havent found much in respect of fuel difference. Did you notice any difference from day to day and on the long runs in Europe? Thanks.
Thank you. I found them to have no real noticeable difference in noise to the factory tyres. Please consider subscribing for further product reviews. Regards Peter
Hi there been looking at the GG at3 I mostly drive motorways and was wondering how you find them ? Especially in the wet for handling/braking as they will he fitted to a full size range rover. Cheers 👍
Hi, I have found them to be very good in the wet,. I have driven my Land Rover across Europe in all weathers including heavy rain on the motorway and had no issues. I would recommend rotating the tyres every 6 months to maintain even tread wear. I have not noticed any real increase in road noise to normal road tyres.
@@discoveryadventures2296 Hi, thank you for your reply. I read quite abit about them but always good to get a honest review like yours I think I may give them a try as I'm 80% motorway but want the conference that when I did go off road/single dirt track county roads I'd be fine. Thanks
From what you are saying about your driving requirements, I think they will be a good choice for you. If you intend in the future to do deep mud then something more aggressive would be better as they don't clear sticky mud to well. With that said I do go off road on mud tracks with a hard base and lots of tracks in Spain. I have a video in mud and a step climbing on my channel with GG AT3s on which might give you some confidence. Regards Peter

Nice tires. How is the performance on wet roads. How long is the breaking dinatnce on wet an dry?
